I've always had a hard time understanding racism. Many people have said that the answer is to respect our differences rather than fight about them. I believe that the answer lies in realizing that difference is an illusion. I would even argue that to separate ones self, ones body, from the surrounding environment is to distinguish between two things that are the same.
