These commercials sure did a number on me as a kid. I remember thinking how embarrased i would be is someone said i had ring around the collar. I'm 43 now and i only wear white dress shirts and very cognizant of whether the collars on my shirts are without a ring. Before i put a shirt on i ALWAYS check the collar to make sure there is no ring around it. I would be absolutely mortified if someone in public suddenly burted out that i had ring around the collar.

This recording was made in 1975 using a Sony Betamax reel to real video recorder.  At that time color wasn't available for consumer recording equipment.
