  • GO HUNGARIANS!

  • HOLY BRAINFUCK

  • Again, this version is bugged, the white parts shouldn't be there at all :(

  • @gargaj Are you sure ? It totally matches as cuts.

  • @TheCthulhoo Sure as hell, I'm one of the guys who made it :) A great example is the second scene (0:38) with the planet where you can't read the text (at 0:50) because of the bright bloom on top. That bloom shouldn't be like that and is a result of an old driver bug that has been fixed since. Watch the realtime version instead ;)

  • @gargaj Oh these white parts ! I thought you were talking about the white flashes at the beginning.

I just watched the realtime version. This is a wonderful work. What language do you use for it ?

I was amazed by what i can do on Pov-ray but I was just flabbergasted when I watched it.

  • @TheCthulhoo It was written in C/C++ with a hint of ASM for some parts (mostly for the synth and the texture generator)

  • @gargaj You are so right, I just watched it in realtime again. I didn't notice that bug with the way too bright areas at all back then. Are you saying there was a bug in the .exe or my graphics card driver? I suppose the GFX as I am pretty sure I just used the same .exe that I used when I was recording the video.

Whatever it is I will do another recording (in 1080p this time) to do this awesome 64k masterpiece the justice it deserves ;)

  • @MSmart2k6 Far as I know it was a driver bug - KeyJ had an article about it at some point. As for the fixed version - much appreciated, thank you :)

  • @gargaj By the way, fantastic soundtrack! This is one of my alltime favorites :)

  • Your vid went viral on Cameroon

  • This video is a favorite on Eritrea

  • One rendered frame of this movie is probably larger than the executable.

  • @saxxonpike Correct !

  • Stunning. I had always enjoyed Demo Thursday on former NBC Germany's computer game show GIGA, pretty entertaining, but this one was the one demo that convinced me that digital art truly is art.

  • 64kb? Holy SHIT.

  • thanks for this!!!!

    Just saying,,,

  • HARD CORE!!!

  • The code optimization is stunning.

  • Nehéz szavakat találni rá.

    Minőségi!

  • @bferi English

  • @jdramirezelmo Is youtube english only? No. So shut the fuck up.

  • Just.Plain.Epic. YEAHHHHHH

  • Simply awesome. Real mastery going on here.

  • Comment removed

  • How the fuck is this possible?!

  • i downloaded and extracted the file, but it wont play. Do i need a different program to play it?

  • @4Shaman20 No, it should work just by running the .exe file.

  • these guys could show crytek a thing or two about optimizing their code

  • @futhamucka actually, some of the working for crytek!

  • and its made by HUNGARIANS :D

  • The .exe made my computer lag.

  • @jarblewarble I guess it's meant for high-end gaming computers. :)

  • @jarblewarble I guess, I tried to run it in wine and got a nice little stack overflow. XD

  • @thesk8rman765 It worked for me, but it was still laggy.

  • @jarblewarble and I ran it in Wine too, so I guess it works with Wine.

  • Caskets going to and coming back from Iraq, back to the Cyber city on the Hill: Amerika, their graves need no flowers, the tapes have recorded their names.I am THX1138 and I approve of this message.NCC-1701. End of Line.

  • 2:07 gantz graf?

  • 8 PELOLE NEEDS A LIFE >:P

  • @bombheadful 8 people took the blue pill and stayed inside the Matrix.

  • Man, I miss the era when demoers were working with crackers, and right before you went to play Doom or Quake, you'd hear and see the most amazing thing at the time.

    I miss those days.

Now, sceners don't even include a demo with their cracks. SKIDROW uses a copy-and-paste demo that's in all their releases, but lately they stopped putting them in.

  • Pure chaos. Thanks again.

  • Nice! I'm a huge fan of this. Looking too "animated" at the beginning. Otherwise, AMAZING.

  • constant chaos in a hurts cycle of total life is nullified in the end or beginning of said life by sheer numbers or the experiences there of. *their of*

  • This just raped my brain

  • how this "world" was built & sequenced =

a.D.D.i.c.t. 2 @ conspiracy dot hu slash release

how gargaj did the music bassline = dbEY04Ucc-k

  • mindfuck

  • 1911 style lol

  • Ein Audiovisuelles Meisterwerk welches erstmal getoppt werden will.

Ich bin ewig dankbar für dieses Kunstwerk. Geil, Geiler am Geilsten....exorbitant ulta Geil!!!!!

  • Ez nagyon ott van!

    Great job!

  • Ive just downloaded the exe.version from the link in the description, guess what, my AVG tells me its a trojana...

  • @FoxDF

AVG assumes it' a trojian because of it's compression method.

    don't worry, it's safe..

  • very cool

  • epic...

  • OSTRE PIERDOLNIĘCIE !!!!!

  • Love it. ^^

  • this music is !!!!!AWSOME!!!!!

  • YES!!

  • i've just seen the real thing running on my pc, it blew my mind away

  • I don't know what this video is supposed to be of. I just came to it by chance. But it was f***kin' intense! BD

  • @CRNGE ZALGO

This video is awesome by the way. Amazing song too, bonus :D

  • im heaving trouble to hear this properly i need to know which speakers the guy that made this music had when he was making tnis music.

  • @bezvezeceda As far as I recall (and this might not be accurate), it was a pair of Philips SHP 2500 headphones.

  • This is awesome.

And I'm pretty sure that any computer that can run this at all can run crysis at 60fps with max settings

  • @Kargaroc286 unless your pc is prehistoric it should run this no problem. my laptop runs it perfectly at 1920x1080 on a dual core 2ghz

  • @Kargaroc286 maybe you'd be suprised, go ahead and give it a try. My 3-year-old system runs it smoothly at 800x600 or thereabouts. And you don't notice the low-res because of the cool style of the whole thing.

  • @Kargaroc286 Well ... no actually. The whole demo is very tiny. It is under one megabyte. The magic of actually using the computer to its full potential. Such is the wonder of the demo scene. and that;s under 1 mb for music AND video.

  • Theme from 2:37 makes an awesome mobile ringtone (or an wake-up alarm, the music from this demo is called "Rude Awakening")

  • great!

  • stunning. i've never seen a demo with that much kick before.

  • lol this is "graph.h" from c++ ? They should have teached me that in high school , but the bitch teacher skipped it . Another question : the song is squeezed in the code along with the video ?

  • @TheKaos90 Yes it is, in fact there's a small (~15k) executable version of the music that is able to render out the whole song into a ~40MB wav.

  • @gargaj Well excuse jy language but ... HOLY SHIT ! I did things like this at high school , but not at the uberawesome scale , just low graphics animation ... to bad i left those stuff behind for Engineering (University)

  • @TheKaos90 Never too late to resume ;)

  • Lights off, full screen, volume full= holy shit.

  • @alserbation "Holy shit" is what chuck norris says when he gets punched . Here you say a lot more than "holy shit"

  • 2:30 GFX Error on your PC

  • and the fraps video takes a couple of gigs...

    :P

  • Életem 1ik meghatározó videója thx srácok ASSEMBLY<3

  • HD Baby!!!

  • Is it just me or is the circle-thing at 2:07 significantly less awesome than the rest of the video?

  • @soccuhplayuh It's just a bit laggy in this recording.

  • @soccuhplayuh No , there are 3 or 4 motion cycles that perfectly sync with the beat in a magic way. I know what they were up to , if i had the skills , i know i would do it the same .

  • Comment removed

  • And keep in mind this is from 2006 :x. ... unique

BTW some1 tried capturing in FullHD? My monitor is at the service now (supid warranty) and the max res i can play with this one is only 1680x1050 (and looks somehow weird in it ...o0) When i get it back i'll upload 1080p version (hope 2 x Ati 5870 1GB CF will be enough to capture it with good framerate )

  • nagyon ott van a szeren! ;)

  • The degree of awesome this is is difficult to encapsulate with words. Speaks for itself for sure

  • great work, i wanna be like you when i grow up. lol

  • Who created this?Is it a game or something?

  • nice demo! regards!

  • 4k version by FRequency /watch?v=gh0V5J3WzlY

  • @xzarx Fuck yeah ! LA vidéo de la MAIN#5 :D tout aussi impressionnante (pour du 4k !)

  • I don't know how many times I've listened to this.. I can't say too much, because there is no such thing as too much. This is great stuff...

  • JA JEBE TROCHE SZOK TEMAT:)

  • can someone tell me the soundtrack ? PLS

  • @SaikyoKi AVG says everything a virus, except for AVG self......

  • Gargaj you're a fucking GOD.

  • @TurboPlasma nah :)

  • what animation swoftware did you use

  • @jasons520 They don't use an animation software. This is generated by pure low-level code in e.g. C/C++ and shaders which execute on the GPU.

  • @edvaldig screw C, I bet they wrote it all in Assembler =P

  • @Nyocurio You're probably right :) These guys sure don't make it easy for themselves

  • @Nyocurio It's mostly C/C++, with a sprinkle of ASM in just the right places. :)

  • wish this was in IMAX

  • NICE!!! Thank you for this! I begged years ago for a HD version.

  • NICE!!! Thank you for this! I begged years ago for a HD version.

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • EPIC EPICNESS! in 720p...

    :D

I so would have this if my lappy could run it >_<

  • So... this video is talking about Chaos as an ever present "force", but the video is totally full of perfect lines, common geometric shapes, and well ordered groups?

    Really? dot dot dot

  • @entro Is there any order in chaos?. Absolutely YES!.

You can find some info on this topic looking for a bit on the net; there is a branch of mathematics which studies this.

  • @hu4nh0 If there's order it's no longer chaos. If you talk about chaos with order you're contradicting your self. People that say you can have order in chaos are not talking about chaos they're just using the wrong word. What it sounds like you're talking about needs a different word and you should stop your smear campaign against chaos. (with love yours truly)

  • @entro Ok, believe what you want. I don't pretend to convince you about anything.

I don't have any campaign against chaos, neither order. Both are sides of the same coin, and chaos is only a transition between ordered states (with chaotic love :P).

  • @entro Try looking up something called a "fractal." That should get you off in the right direction.

  • conspiracy?conspiracy

  • ddgderh

  • Acording to me this reprecents the ultimate Chaos, defying everything we can and cant imagine and believe in. Physics and Theory have no place in this film due to there isnt any.

    Exp: I love it !!! =D

Amazing guys hope to see theese kinds of movie endavor in the future! =)

  • ...Такая же хрень у меня в голове творитсо иногда, при определённіх обстоятельствах))))

  • Either it's not hand-coded assembly, or they're using code compression techniques along with procedural texture generation or all of the above. Either way, this is one bad ass demo!

  • For a video it would be awesome! But for a 64k demo it is nothing less than G.O.D.L.I.K.E.!.!.!.

This masterpiece is art and clearly the best demo i've ever seen! Transhumanism represented by powerful music and visuals in unity!

  • @cognos23 I don't see how spinny demoscene chains and lightning have anything to do with transhumanism, but ok.

  • 63 kiloa oiski jo aika saavutus

  • I can't get how these guys put a stunning 3D movie in a 64kb file.

When I compile an EMPTY app, I already have 21 kb !

  • it's ok, but nothing special

  • it had been made with FL studio i guess :P

  • Conspiracy simply owns 64kb scene

  • I cant understand how this video in HD is only 64k.... Demoscene is the example of the power of the PC's

  • demos are actual programs that are executed on a machine - they use procedural textures - means that the computer "computes" the images on the geometries before the thing started, not sure bout the sound, guess they save the notes as binary encoding and the program has an integrated synthesizer to generate the sounds, geometries are either computed (simple stuff like a sphere) or the coordinates are saved in the program, and they prob use a bunch of graphics algorithms, particle algos etc.

  • not sure if i'm 100% correct here cause i never wrote a demo - but i think that's the general approach :D

  • AWSOME !!!

  • It's not only an Intro or Video.

It's one of the hardest type of programming! It's a 64k intro, made by a Hungarian team, Conspiracy. The size of this Intro is 64Kbytes!!! You can download the exe file on conspiracy's hompage!

You can find all other info in info box on the top of the page. 5 Stars!

  • What sort of machine runs this baby then?

  • it runs fine (enjoyable) with an nv7600gt in 800*600, but for HD you'll need a bit faster HW. :)

  • damn a good Video i love it

  • Don't forget kids! bananas are great!

  • That intro and this video...some of the coolest stuff I've seen and heard in a while

  • 5 stars!!!

  • oops dammit, I rated this 4 stars by accident. hit the button by mistake.

  • Excellent, but nowhere did I see any dynamics exhibiting chaos ... that is, exponentially divergent solutions starting from nearby initial conditions (in a bounded system?)

    ;)

  • There is no such thing as an exponentially divergent solution.

  • Two solutions are exponentially divergent in phase space. Near any given phase space trajectory, one can expand the evolution operator (the Liouvillian) in the phase space variables (positions and momenta). The evolution of the area of the bundle of solutions is dominated by the largest eigenvalue of the above operator, e^{\lambda t}. If \lambda is positive, solutions exponentially diverge in time and \lambda^-1 is called the Lyapunov time.

  • this intro is one of the best alltime intros i've ever seen

  • {Alastair Reynolds' Inhibitors}

You've shown me them and I am awed and scared.

  • How do I get someone to port this to the BeagleBoard!?

  • you changed it a little lol ..

  • Fucking Amazing

  • dear lord...

  • Damn i favorited this before i even finished the video.

  • aww, buggy version :(

  • it was usefuI for me... i used this buggy version to explain to a person what meant to say that this demo was interpreted in real time :D

  • That's totally true! But it makes this whole thing even more awesome! ;-)

  • @MSmart2k6 Awesome ^2

  • sau krass das teil! echt übel geworden.

  • Ahh these people at Conspiracy are true artists...

  • Thanks for the upload.
