  • @razorsun Who cares what John Lennon would think, he's dead, and what's so special about his opinion anyway. It's just common sense to eat less meat, three times a week is perfectly adequate. We don't need these people espousing their views, telling us what to eat, for goodness sake. Meat free Monday, how ludicrous, how about a McCARTNEY FREE MONTH instead.

  • Simple yet powerful, everyone should do it!

  • I'm honestly surprised that more people aren't willing to only eat meat ONCE A WEEK rather than just take one day off eating it per week.

  • that women on 00:01 is very lucky.. She got kissed and hugged from Paulie.

  • What Paul is doing is wonderful. Everyone who is taking a part in this is doing everything that Paul explained in this video. If we would all just take one day to not eat meat, then I think we can all change the world, one by one.

  • This is just going too far. Animals have eaten each other for thousands and thousands of years and nothing happened with the climate and it surely won't be any better if we become vegetarians. It's natural for people to eat meat (or whatever the hell they want) and this bullshit about it being bad for the environment is just, well, bullshit.

  • @Dodo251 animals don't factory farm each other though, so that is the difference. We're producing more animals to sate our appetites than would naturally occur. :) It's one day a week without meat, that's not really "too far."

  • @deadbinky Yes, I agree but it's been scientifically proven that global warming is a nonsense and that our 'not eating the meat' won't make absolutely no difference whatsoever. I don't know what they're on about when they mention climate but it would be healthy to eat stewed vegetables at least twice a week, as I myself do.

  • @Dodo251 yay for the veggies 2x a week! :)

I think it depends on which scientist you're listening to. It's been scientifically proven that it isn't nonsense. The farts & burps from farm animals are increasing methane in our atmosphere. Methane only lasts for ~10 years though, so if the # of farm animals decreases, we'll see changes soon! Another plus is we can feed the world with that food that would go to fatten livestock.

but I'm veg because factory farming is inhumane & I <3 animals :)

  • @deadbinky You know what's funny? People think that they are saving lives by not eating meat and replacing it with vegetables but you have to be aware that vegetables and plants are also living beings. Either way you're killing a live organism to feed yourself. It's been that way since the dawn of life. That word 'inhumane' is also funny because it relates to people, not animals. In-HUMAN(e) cannot be related to animals since they're not human beings and it is in human nature to eat animals.

  • @Dodo251 I'm not opposed to taking life to eat, that's nature. I'm opposed to the method. Hunting & eating an animal is fine - you're catching it honestly. Mass producing animals & stuffing them into crates to fatten them up is inhumane to me. And yes, I use that word because it can apply to humans & animals (have you heard of the Humane Society?) You might consider that it is in-HUMAN of us to treat animals this way.

Don't forget, humans are animals too. :)

  • @Dodo251

What would John Lennon think of you torturing and killing animals?

  • @Dodo251 Vegetables grow back, animals do not. The word inhumane is being used to describe how inhumane humans act in the way they kill animals and eat them as if there is an unlimited supply. Humans are not above animals and nature, we have forgotten our roots - we weren't here first. We need to respect.

  • @MrsRhythmNation We are above animals and it's in our nature to kill and eat them because we are omnivores. If you don't like to eat meat and be a pussy, be my guest. I need my energy and I know what provides it best. Global warming is a lie spread by corporations like Toyota and such in order to sell their hybrid cars and for people like Al Gore to promote their agenda. You IDIOT. In about 200 years Earth will be entering a new ice age, carbon emissions have only postponed it a bit.

  • @Dodo251 It's honestly ridiculous how some people will believe anything that goes along with their political beliefs. Think about what you said, logically. What would the point of a hybrid car be if there really was no global warming? Why would there ever be a point in making them? That's like saying a womans period is a lie created by Playtex to sell their tampons. Come on, that's utter nonsensical stupidity. Conspiracy theories only pop up when people are too stupid to understand reality.

  • @ashoftomorrow You idiot, do your homework and stop listening to fakers like Al Gore. I can name a few (legitimate) scientists who have proven that global warming is a fraud and scientifically not sound. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's reality. It's not my fault you sheep-like liberals haven't developed a functioning brain to think with properly and will buy almost anything the mainstream media throws at you. Grow up and grow a brain.

  • @Dodo251 I've never particularly been interested in anything Al Gore has to say.

It's funny that I never said anything about illegitimate scientists yet you felt you had to defend the legitimacy of the scientists you get your "information" from. Hmm. That makes your viewpoint seem VERY believable. And by the way, yes, there's no such thing as "global warming," it's global climate change. Huge difference.

I have a brain and I use it. I think critically- a skill you desperately need.

  • @Dodo251 It absolutely has NOT been proven that global warming is nonsense and you are ignorant to even want to it have been? Why would anyone be so naive to not see the damage already done to this earth? Humans drill into the earth's core for oil, dredge the ocean's floor to make room for bigger carrying ships, cut down ancient trees (which provide us oxygen), kill elephants for their tusks to make jewellery and furniture..... You think that has no effect? it is disturbing the balance of nature

  • @MrsRhythmNation I've researched the topic and know it very well, many scientists who are NOT funded by people like Gore and major corporations have proven that Earth moves in cycles and that we're currently entering the new ice age. Continue to be the brainwashed liberal scum you are and ignore facts. I see mass media and advertising has made quite an ignorant zombie out of you. You liberals are all the same, have NO fucking clue whatsoever about reality and common sense. Work on your logic.
