The fact is SA-MP is the true San Andreas mod, that makes the most of the San Andreas map, MTA on the other hand does have some nice features BUT, playing it doesn't actually feel like your playing a San Andreas mod, which personally i dont like..
I like MTA's features, but as you said, SA:MP is better since that uses the original SA map.
But, I hate the amount of hackers and cheaters on SA:MP, that's probably why there is so many MTA Fanboys here, since they got banned from SA:MP for using s0beit or some other cheating thing.

They also make sure everyone runs on a unmodded data folder, otherwise they cannot play, also they disable CLEO temporarily. At least that is what happened in my MTA experience.
SA:MP doesn't block any 3rd party plugins, like s0biet or CLEO, also people can have have modded data files and SA:MP doesn't care, it still lets them load up like normal SA.

You ignored the fact that MTA has better gameplay (and I told you in which ways) and the gameplay is the most important. So you still haven't said why exactly players should play SA-MP and not MTA.

@dondecedrico That's what I was talking about all the time while SA-MP fanboys were ignoring me. Empty car damage and shot delays are very easy to customize using scripts in MTA, while SA-MP needs inaccurate imitations to toggle them. Gameplay is more customizable in MTA, that's why it's better. Also, I've never heard about SA-MP getting any feedback from Rockstar Games.

@CheifSmokinDank SA-MP lag increased a lot in 0.3d, you can see people complaining in forums, and MTA with 200 ms ping runs smoother than SA-MP with 50 ms ping. You said SA-MP is better because lag makes DM funnier, now you say SA-MP doesn't lag, therefore you objected yourself. You ignored the fact that MTA has better gameplay (and I told you in which ways) and the gameplay is the most important. So you still haven't said why exactly players should play SA-MP and not MTA.

If you look at feature suggestions topic in SA-MP forums or players' reactions at new features on every SA-MP release, you will see that players react very positively at things which MTA has had for a long time. Also, "preferring something" and "being used to something" are different things. Just because most players are used to SA-MP, that doesn't disprove the fact that MTA has things which they want in SA-MP.

Empty car damage and shot delays are very easy to customize using scripts in MTA, while SA-MP needs inaccurate imitations to toggle them. Gameplay is more customizable in MTA, that's why it's better. Also, I've never heard about SA-MP getting any feedback from Rockstar Games.
