Mine is only 9 months old and is almost as big. I grew it from seed left over from a fruit. Something is wrong with the dirt maybe. It looks stressed.
@mac1flow what state do you live in too ? I'm interested cause of the climate
i grow things from seed all the time but unfortunately I constantly forget what i put and i dont label things because its always trial and error - so its not worth all the effort of labeling things that may fail. but ive got alot in my home- mango, avocado, lemmon, you name it !
The tree is a little over three years old, and we bought it as a seedling at a nursery. Our pool deck is like the Sahara in the summer, so we went to a store where the staff could advise us on which plants could survive the heat.

How old is the pomegranate tree? Did you buy it as a tree or grow it from seed?
