Hey mike wat do would u think about a small republic but the gov. Does't have a monopoly on jusrice and police, they can only org. A milatary but have reserves in peace times sort like switzerlands milatary. This would act as a part society because of all the othe govs. In the world so they don't attack us. I would rather have anarchy but this would be for internatiol problems
The last government system of honor & integrity was under Articles of Confederacy... states rights for a united states of America. Of course, the corporate Crown illegally removed it and substituted the Constitution for a United States corporation. it figures.
Basically I want the government as small as possible, I want it be underfunded to the point that it can barely get the job done. Every once in a while we will take a 2x4 and smash the shit out of the government just so it remembers who is the boss.
@marcuswlnd3 Gracias para el informacion. Estoy tranando aprender Espanol pero esta muy mal ahorita. Solo hablaba Espanol por ocho meses pero sere mucho mejor despues el ano proximo. Otra vez, gracias para el actualización. Paz
The alternative is a system that enforces individual liberty instead of pretending to enforce collective liberty (i.e, "democracy" or more accurately tyranny of the masses). A system where the tyranny is the individual. Such systems do exist but they make the filthy elites quake and the jack boots rage.
@jeffiek I was simply using an alternative of Tucker's "egoist" in a more modern phrasing. It's obvious you're not an anarchist because of you're quick recourse to violence demonstrates a jackboots mentality not an enlightened one of freedom, liberty and respect for individualism. If you really want to understand what I'm talking about try reading some anarchist works: Tucker, Stirner, Godwin,Proudhon, Bukunin, and etc.
"quick recourse to violence " Poor little idiot, did I hurt you so badly with a post on the internet? Did mommy fix the boo-boo? Oh, you might want to look up the definition of violence.
@jeffiek lol, it seems you're the one with hurt feelings lmao
Do try and read a book. It would do you a lot of good, that is, if you ever get sick of sucking Fuhrer cock and decide you'd like to have an original thought all your own.
I would describe myself as a libertarian. According to you, why is this wrong? What is the difference between libertarianism and anarchism? Seems to me like both groups want the government out of our lives.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You "libertarians" (anarcho-capitalists) are dupes of the statism you say you dislike. You enable state capitalists with your talk of free markets and laissez-fare. They twist these irrational ideas into apologies for crony capitalism. And trying to change the meaning of words like "libertarian" and "anarchy" is simply Orwellian. Your ends don't justify your means. You're not helping yourselves or anyone else.
@TheForwardGaze So we are not allowed to speak the truth? That there would be no corporations (institutions that are government created/licensed/protected) in a free market?!? People twist things to their own gain all the time. I think it's pretty clear anarcho-capitalists are against state capitalism... that is our point. People twist everything, you will not convince me to stop speaking facts and reality.
@mikeshanklin Which did Milton Friedman most promote, anarcho-capitalism or state capitalism? He was corrupted, like Alan Greenspan, the neoliberals, and anyone else who's been made a part of the state apparatus. Ron Paul hasn't been corrupted, but he also hasn't made even a dent in the system. We on the left have been more successful fighting state capitalism (with a few civil rights, regulations and welfare programs), because we have no romantic or purist notions about capitalism.
@sheepOG I was making the point in my other comment that liberals/progressives made a dent in capitalism (the state) while anarcho-capitalism hasn't. The state exists to protect capital. They're synonymous. Progressive liberal state capitalism (politically center-left) is the middle road, full of good and bad compromises. Liberals and progressive liberals support state capitalism but also try to reform it or compensate for it through welfare, unions, regulations, civil rights, etc.
@TheForwardGaze I would describe myself as a libertarian. According to you, why is this wrong? What is the difference between libertarianism and anarchism? Seems to me like both groups want the government out of our lives.
@skcin7 Yes, American "libertarians" (anarcho-capitalists) do have a lot in common with anarchists (anti-state socialists), like opposition to the state. But the difference between them is huge, and that's capitalism itself. The basis of anarchism is opposition to all forms of authority or social hierarchy, and anarchists believe that capitalism is inherently hierarchical and authoritarian. So anarcho-capitalism becomes an oxymoron.
I am a libertarian/minarchist. I think a small state should exist, but really do so reluctantly. I mean Voluntarism I think ideally is the way to go, morally for sure, but when you have a state, it creates formal monopoly, where in a voluntary society monopolies could pop up all over because entities will choose to violent voluntarism.
With a state it's one entity we know we have to contain, which is easier to guard against than many possible monopolies.
@Theman101289 The whole point about voluntaryism is that if one free market firm goes array, the people could switch/create something to switch. There are numerous incentives in a free market that discourage companies from turning violent. The same reason a courtroom can tackle you over wearing a hat in their property whereas Best Buy most likely won't even ask you to take your hat off while inside.... at least we could put these free market firms out of business through ostracism.
@Theman101289 I think you might consider carefully your reasoning for preferring minarchy to anarchy - what you are essentially saying is that anarchy MIGHT end up like the system we have now and that is not desirable, so instead we should stick with the system we have. I would trade a "now exists" for a "might one day exist" as far as the state is concerned.
there you go again saying police are people we hire to steal for us. You comments on business law show you don't understand why our courts, as a whole, are the most admired in the world. You can not have thriving business without a reliable, uncorrupted legal system to level the playing field and provide a system to resolve disputes non violently. Yes, we do have to guard against the rich gaming the system and Dems are for enforcing anti-trust laws. Say what you are for, not what you're against.
@jackhammer111 "You can not have thriving business without a reliable, uncorrupted legal system"
~Which is impossible in statism... learn the life lesson.
Dispute resolutions organizations through voluntaryism are much better for all of us, even the police officers... as they would not be enforcing anti-freedom victimless crimes.
Tell me what you think "anit-freedom victimless crimes are.
Our courts and system of law are the envy of the world.
Where are you examples of how great "voluntaryism works?
You dumb the world down far enough to think you are smarter than those that came before you. Education is largely study about how things got to be what they are. They are the accumulation of the intellect of millions and you think your simpleton notions are better? Hubris.
@jackhammer111 lol, it's not up for debate,... it's not like I am making this stuff up. It is just facts. A victimless crime is a term used to refer to actions that have been ruled illegal but do not directly violate or threaten the freedoms/rights of another individual or their property.
Examples include drug prohibition, prohibition on prostitution, taxation theft (not giving this corrupt/violent monopoly your property voluntarily), restrictions to peaceful trade, even minimum wage...
@jackhammer111 How do I know peace works better than criminal activities?!? Unfortunately there are too many violent state criminals like you that we are not able to have seen a free/voluntary society YET... after all, most slaves never imagined they would someday be free... and then it happened, so at least humanity is taking the right steps... Now, if only we could end political slavery next... It's like asking, prove that voluntary sex is better than rape... DUH!!! You have to ask?!?!? lol
@mikeshanklin You need to study the history of the world in the first half of the 20th century before you go comparing the world today to the hideous events of Stalin's reign and the Nazi's or Tojo's Japan. Read up on "the rape of Nanking" or "operation Barbarossa" and get back to me. Your pissing in your own kiddie pool. Leave the rest of us out of it.
I don't entirely disagree with much of what you say, but I've come to see our problems today as a result of our ignorance and lack of real participation, not statism itself. If all we do is vote every now and then, while serving our own selfish goals in life, then yeah, statism is gonna be ugly. But if a population acutally takes part in a real way, and is truly represented, I think any preconceived notions based on the past are useless, because they all assume the peoples coercion.
@rhth79 If you vote and your party loses you are still coerced into paying for the other guy's schemes which don't represent you. Representative government is an illusion. Your vote is virtually worthless and if you vote for the loser it is entirely useless. On top of that many times there is noone that represents you or the person who does best has no chance of winning, in which case you are stuck in a dictatorship as you have no representative.
There was a document that came before the Constitution and it was called the Articles of Confederation. It was removed illigally and immorally by the Federalists of our government. It was a part of a conspiracy in the early continental congress, and of the 74 delegates of the congress 17 refused to sign the Constitution and 19 delined and out of the 56 signer most opposed the Constitution. The Federalists used a temporary economic crises as their excuse to commit this crime.
The problem with our current systems is that no rights are protected now and in any system big or small they still make rules enforced by violence. Any system out there will be the wrong one.
@Nightshift10000 The nonaggression principle system is not "the wrong one"... aggressionist violence is wrong. You still have the right to defend yourself and the use of violence to do so, BUT, you are not allowed to be the AGGRESSOR, that it is wrong to use AGGRESSIVE VIOLENCE. The problem with statism is that it calls for violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. It is not based around options and choice and freedom, but rather, on aggressive violence.
@mikeshanklin nonaggression principle is not a system, it's a principle that doesn't give in to the organized violence that is a governing system. That's actually what redeems it and makes it the best option to go with. the main problem here is that there are too many submissive assholes out here on Youtube and in our Society that would rather the violent aggressionists like police officers and government agent do all the thinking and Society just sit back and watch everything crumble.
I don't agree with Anarchy no rights are protect. The best system is a small and highly restricted government. The way the USA was originally founded and run for the first 100 years of our history. After that, Statism gained ground and the government expanded at a rapid pace. When politicians discovered they can void the constitution without consequences.
@ebrake You think going back to the original Constitution with its slavery is best?!? What do you need to use aggressive violence on peaceful people/government for?!? Not sure why you need a system that only has the legal right to abuse rights to protect rights...
@pfpmovement Indeed, slavery was the result of compromise during the drafting of the constitution. The constitution was an anti-slavery document but it didn't go far enough to completely abolish the practice. If you don't believe me, read article 1 section II - providing 3/5 vote to slaves. This could be seen as being a "racist/pro-slavery" move but in fact is exactly the opposite. At the time, the south had a huge slave population and would thus have greater representation in congress.
@ebrake Yeah, 3/5ths of a person so their slaveowners could have more votes.... sure makes me think that document was about ending slavery... Let's be serious, every government is against individual rights, and is an infringement on some peaceful person. That is all governments have, the use of threats of aggressive violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. If that is not what government is, then it is not a government... just a regular business/charity. Governments are slavery.
Anarchy lol. Once you take charge of your food choice its no longer anarchy moron. You by your authority have made yourself the food police. I wish idiots actually knew what anarchy ment. You can not have just a little anarchy for the moment you create a group of any kind anarchy no longer exis.......yup poof it's gone.
@Edgrot Anarchy is no rulers, not no rules... for a guy throwing childish insults, maybe you should do some research next time....
Anarchy is the absence of slavery. Anarchy means choice for the individual, versus forced collectivism which punishes peaceful choice. Please, explain to me how me choosing what foods I put into my body equates to "food police"?!?!? I am interested to understand how me making a peaceful, voluntary, personal choice equates to enslaving someone else...
I would also say you dont wish a bully away you kick his ass and that ends it. You can never achieve true freedom without a fight period end of story.
@Edgrot Wish a bully away?!? Not sure where you got that, we are EDUCATING bullies away... and it obviously works, as I am not a statist bully anymore either.... unlike 10 years ago when I did use aggressive violence/government on peaceful people... Please, explain, how do you kick the crap out of statism?!? Don't you think it is easier to just educate people onto who is the bully, and then to ostracize their bullishness out of society?!? How do you kick statism's ass if not education?
8 min in and I have to say that this is only one form of statisim and it's a spacific one. Facisim. Now the video knows nothing about republic and mind you the US is not a republic but America was. What is truely funny is this video attempts to create the same exact thing as the maxists. A promised utopia that will never work. To learn more just ask.
@Edgrot Completely untrue, marxists believe in using aggressive violence on peaceful people to create prosperity... anarchists at least realize there is no utopia and strive instead for individual personal choice/freedom for peaceful people. The constitution is still a version of slavery because they will throw you in a cage if you do not fund the government's ponzi scheme, and all Republics have failed (turned Marxist). If anything, Republics are closer to utopian thought than Freedom/anarchy.
@death9719 How are individual rights and the nonaggression principle slavery?!? Please explain how respecting peaceful individual choice and not infringing on other people is slavery....
@mikeshanklin wage system, forcing markets into areas were they are not wanted, globalization, maybe anarcho-capitalism could work in the past but not in the global world we live in now. have you read the book wikinomics if you haven't they have a site to ancapism can't exist in the modern world. it is as out dated as syndicalism. your theories are sound but theory and reality are not the same. bis will find ways to wage war without a state to lobby.
@death9719 Who said anything about a wage system?!? You don't have to have a wage system inside voluntaryism...what are you talking about?!? Watch my video on anarcho-communism... it explains how you can have voluntary collectives inside voluntaryism.
Forcing markets?!? What does that mean? In voluntaryism, there is only the nonaggression principle. No one is forcing you to use a market... ever! Why can peaceful people not be left alone?!? I don't understand what makes peace outdated?!?
@mikeshanklin volunteerism is great but in the real world anarcho-capitalism cannot work, it cannot exist in capitalism. you underestimate our greedy, and ability to innovate new cheap ways to kill each other.
@death9719 You make a bunch of generic statements, but never tie them together. You do realize that the military industrial complex is only possible because of involuntary taxation theft... you know that right? If you want to reduce the ways people kill each other, eliminate the government since it is nothing but infringements of peaceful people who simply disagree. I am not sure why individual choice and individual freedom cannot exist in your mind.
@mikeshanklin i can hear your videos i am not deaf and i agree with you, i am an anarchist. and any form of syndicalist union or ancap company is a state by another name. i am not a collectivist, so don't use that attack that all ancaps use.
@death9719 How so?!? Where would they get the money?!? At least lobbying for wars makes it easier to steal money from others to pay for this through involuntary taxation theft and imprisonment. How would a voluntary firm fund its "wars" without taxation theft?!? How is this sustainable when everyone else in the community refuses to participate with this firm? Not sure where you see them getting their money from since they can't legally steal it like the state/military industrial complex...
@death9719 True, but it is much worse with the state's mercenaries that can legally steal and murder with immunity. In a stateless society, ALL of these anti-voluntary interactions would be frowned upon, instead of encouraged like in brainwashing statism. Maybe you should watch the video, "Anarchy Create Governments?!?" watch?v=WIgHO8SZJdI It explains how foolish private "mercenaries" would be in a free society, and instead, focuses on why it is almost impossible.
@mikeshanklin maybe not as good weapons or organization, the bloods, the mafia, and other gangs would just reperpous them selves as private armies. no tanks and war jets just armored cars (by which i mean home modified) and maybe small aircraft al l'a battle of Blair Mountain. so baldwin felts crap.
@death9719 Where would the mafia and other gangs get their funding?!? Most of their revenue would evaporate once the war on drugs was gone... and besides, who would fund a DRO that is run by gangsters (other than voters).... most of them would go to their proven and reputable Dispute Resolution Organization service for protection, not to some back stabbing gangsters. Most gangsters would be out of funding over night without the government's black market...
@mikeshanklin mercenary work they would be hired by companies who have rivals. and look at the Taliban and the R.U.F they had diamonds so they made there own military industrial complex.
@gulbirk Just imagine what we could have if pillaging, theft, and murder weren't legalized, and entrepreneurship and freedom were... Who knows, we could of had cars back in 200 BC... Maybe already had a cure for cancer... the possibilities are endless in a free society.
@mikeshanklin Ask yourself this. When there was no state`/government (which didnt exist befor after Ludvig the 14) where people richer. NO. Did privat owners care about the working class. NO.
Was the gap between the working class and the upper class smaller. NO
Did working class people normally take an education. NO
You are not free you are ruled - This is statism - Am trying to generate some more support for a free country - Please spread this video to get more people protesting to be free
v=1ussy40M9uE
We are slaves by definition not free because we are ruled - Why do i feel that i am the
only person protesting to be free ? - This is day 886
@bapyou Personally, I think being my own slavemaster is an enormous net benefit as compared to handing the controls over to anyone else. To each their own, I suppose.
My message to statists: I shall with full integrity, honor your social contract if you can show me where I signed. Allegiance to false ideas and false prophets is voluntary subjugation to a life held in bondage to a group of despots only concerned with serving their own agendas. I know when an institution is false because it is not held to the same standards as that of the individual. We must end lethal force by the state onto peaceful citizens, by any means necessary.
@bapyou "As if 'free markets' aren't just another form of control over working people."
Is someone pointing a gun at your head and telling you to work? No. You work of your own free will and are encouraged to work in the way that brings you the most happiness and utility. When the effort becomes more than your benefit, you quit. It really is that simple. The only person controlling the free markets you choose to engage in is you.
@bapyou Free markets, if left alone to the responsible consumers/producers, would do just fine w/o the interference of those who believe they can spend your money in a better manner. BTW, why so mad?
While you make some valid points on the similarities between organized crime and statism one can see those same similarities in the simple family unit. Most families have a set of rules that one must keep to under threat of punishment. Some of those rules may require you to do chores to assist the family in accomplishing its goals. Those rules help define right, wrong, and responsibility. Without this we don't have society. And without society humans are susceptible to many depredations.
@RedCracka Whoa, whoa, hold on a second, no one is saying that murder should be okie dokie lol, It's called rules without rulers, that is what dispute resolution and multi-tiered arbitration through choice based revenue is focused on.
@mikeshanklin Haha didn't mean to imply that it was my way of raising a family at all. Just some generalizations and observations. There is such wide variance between governance styles in individual families and even states that I find it hard to think about abolishing that system altogether. Oh and I have a serious question for you, who enforces the conclusion of the arbitration?
See: "1932, A True History of the United States" on YT.
Marx (Kessel Moses Mordecai Levy), Lenin (Oolinoff), and Trotsky (Liev Davodovitch Bronstein) were agents of the British Crown and the Rothschilds. These men were not Atheists, but practicing Satanists, like the Crown and FreeMasonry. They promulgated all three World Wars. The third has already started.
See: "NWO and Biblical Prophesy" on Leonard Ulrich's channel.
You are repeating mistakes already made long ago. This is not an accident.
No government can be perfect, but that doesn't mean all government should be abolished. If government programs were voluntary then the rich would never contribute because the rich don't need help. Forced collective action is justified in the name of equality.
@johnrcoben So you believe people should be slaves? That their property can be infringed on? That they do not have the right to what they justly acquired through peaceful means?
@mikeshanklin I would say that a working class person in a free market is a wage slave. Someone has to decide what "justly acquired" is. Just because some action isn't physical doesn't mean it isn't violent. You talk as if people receive their property directly from god or stumble upon it. There are too many assumptions in your point of view for me. Is property "justly acquired" through the work of others who are paid less than the value of the result of their own efforts?
Respond to this video... If a person is financially successful, don't they owe that much more to the government that protected them and secured them during their risk? To the very society that enabled their success? All those guns are occasionally pointed at bad guys too.
@johnrcoben "If a person is financially successful, don't they owe that much more to the government that protected them and secured them during their risk?"
There have always been financially successful people, including before there was an income tax or even a US Federal government. Even back in Biblical days there were wealthy people. Abraham was very wealthy in cattle and gold, and had a small private army of servants and relatives that kept him safe, just as one example.
@johnrcoben "If government programs were voluntary then the rich would never contribute because the rich don't need help."
How does someone get rich? In a free society, you get rich by contributing the technology, goods, and services that other people want, which is a great contribution.
@johnrcoben "Some would say you get rich by exploiting the working class."
Working class is the dumbest term. Most small business owners work much harder than their employees. Everyone, with rare exception, works. Its just a matter of how productive you are.
@johnrcoben its not all about money.. the rich acquire possession and then realise that its not all its cracked up to be.. they have more issues than everyone else.. govts need to be totally abolished and run by humans not serpents.! then we will see real positive change!
@johnrcoben The "Extortion" of the public became possible when our US Congress allowed itself to be bribed by what later became Multi National Corps and International Banks, neither are healthy for a Free People.
In the early 20th Century, John D Rockefeller bribed first New Jersey Assembly and then Congress of Delaware to for-go the requirement of Corporations to periodically renew their Charters by proving their operations were in the best interest of the people. The dominos fell from there.
@johnrcoben Who mentioned Anarchy? We need to get any new Congressmen, State or US, to sign off on an Affidavit that will support THE ORIGINAL US CONSTITUTION. If you "think" you know what I mean then you are
unfamiliar with: "The Act of 1871", USA vs US, and on YT: " Republic of Missouri, the Change Our Founders Believed In".
@1tonykirk I don't need any of you pointing guns at peaceful people, I will take Freedom and choice over government monopolization through threats of violence. Sorry, not into the whole gang warfare... would much rather have voluntaryism and freedom through privately funded dispute resolution organizations and multi-tiered arbitration in a pro-choice society where individual rights are put first, instead of statism slavery...
Under the substituted Constitution created in 1871, we were all Incorporated in America serving the British Crown.
Your name is in all Capital Letters today because every document you've signed off on to enact a Business or be Employed by one has made you voluntarily waive your Rights as a Natural Person, and an Artificial one taxable under Maritime Admiralty Law was created.
Social Security placed us as collateral for the Bankruptcy of 1933
@1tonykirk All statism is is gang warfare... it's a domestic war. I don't need any government, just a free society. You can keep the parchment papers and Constitutions and all the other statist documents that create and support governments, I am against gang warfare, I am against politics and pro-freedom. The only real free society is one without monopolized violent threats from governments. I am drinking reality... and I don't need any Constitution nor state.
@mikeshanklin You are throwing the baby out with the bath water. Men need Laws to organize any Society.
Ours were not just subverted, they were replaced by a fraudulent US Constitution w/ the Act of 1871. It is why Lincoln had to be eliminated. He instituted the Corporation to issue a new currency to finance the Union Army in the Civil War against the Confederates financed by Queen Victoria and the Rothschild Bank of England.
If our original system was so bad, why did Bismarck imitate it?
@mikeshanklin Why did Czar Nicholas, whose Railroads we were constructing in Siberia, threaten The Queen and the Rothschilds with sending a fleet to defend America against a British Incursion to support the Confederates. The Queen and the Rothschilds later used the Bolsheviks ( Zionism) to not only bring Russia down, but to assassinate the entire Romanov Family months after the Czar abdicated,
In the mid 19th Century when we were free of the Banksters, we became the most powerful dynamo on Earth
Recently I negatively commented on your statism video... however you have some points and I apologize..we are not at the peak yet, but I have and hold tightly to hope that one day, a dream of prosperity and freedom in individual rights may prosper..
There's no ethos in your argument. All you're doing is just using a purely logos type argument then taking police videos out of context to support it with pathos. The government may be doing a poor job by covering it up, but you're not doing any better by blatently lying with those images.
@EnsignN7 The argument is that statism has nothing but threats of violence on peaceful people who simply disagree.... Please, prove to us that the theft of justly acquired property is not stealing... please, explain how theft is not theft...
@LibertyLounge You are claiming that this is theft and I'm stating that I do not believe you because of the lack of evidence. The burden of "proof" falls on you, not me. It's the same problem in watch?v=sNDZb0KtJDk
@EnsignN7 What happens if I do not pay my taxes? They will grab me and throw me in a cage... after tons of "nice" little threat letters.... Taxation is defined as... "A tax "is not a voluntary payment or donation"". Taxes are based on compulsion. If you do not pay, they WILL use government aggressive force on you. What do you call it when people threaten to take money from you no matter what? Life is either choice/voluntary based, or compulsion based... taxation is compulsion based.
@LibertyLounge And what will happen when this system is taken away? Anarchy isn't true freedom. It just allows the strongest to determine the rules and any form of safety net is removed. You cannot promise me anything with Anarcy as well because there are no official laws. Who is to say you won't do the same thing as taxation if you were given control? At least with the current system there are exemptions and methods of appeal.
Actually, the nonaggression principle is freedom, and Anarchy aims to advance the message of the nonaggression principle. Anarchy is simply choice. Anarchy is not a political system, it is against human entrapment and pro-choice. I actually have a video coming out soon that will explain DRO (Dispute Resolution Organizations) and other freedom ideals that you might be young enough to see before you die... let's hope so. Please, explain how taxation is possible without taxation...
@mikeshanklin How would you prevent "taxation"? Just because you get rid of the official tx system does not mean no one is going to do it. In fact, it gives more freedom to people to do it. Just because you're doing it for a "nonaggression principle" does not make your version "official". Anarchy serves to destroy the authentication of every single system. There's no foundation to support anything. You're giving too much credit to humans to carry out our "utopia".
IF!... you are right... and the government is actually enslaving us all...and the police are REALLY hired mercenaries paid to STEAL our money... then why do they only arrest those who either rape children, traffic drugs and humans, or fail to abide by the rules of THE VERY GOVERNMENT THAT KEEPS THEM ALIVE... instead of me? You see, the government and parasitic politicians you see as monsters, I see as people who are voted into office by ill informed, un-grateful, miss lead, people such as you.
@silentlightpro I'm a little confused, how can people who don't vote... elect bad rulers?!? That makes no sense at all... Another question.... how does responsible drug use by adults equate to a crime? How does murdering 0.3 Million innocent Iraqi children not count as a crime? Do you deny the FACT that government has nothing outside the legal right to the use of threats of aggressive violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. What makes it different from a business if not?
@LibertyLounge How about you vote then? Any US citizen may vote It is our right. And by "responsible drug use" do you mean the over 700,000 cocaine/heroin related deaths of peoples in the U.S. alone in 2010? And by people who disagree do you mean the I.T.N. known as Al qaida responsible for the deaths of now MILLIONS!! 1,200,000 estimated!? Yes, they disagree with life and liberty and would kill your free ass if given the chance. But they cant because your government that you hate protects you.
@silentlightpro You do not have a right to steal from peaceful people who simply disagree, who told you that lie?!? The system?!? Well, it is NOT a right. You do NOT have the right to murder and steal from peaceful people...
Another question, how come we still have cocaine and heroin deaths in statism?!? Wasn't your fantasy statism slavery suppose to end drug use?!? LMFAO... you probably think they can run our health care too... you fucking stupid ass slavedrivers... KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME!
@LibertyLounge How can you say that Al qaida is a peaceful peoples? They are the ones responsible for stealing and murdering the innocent! Your probably just another coke head pissed because they got caught... Your right! Stealing and murdering the innocent is not right, and i have know idea how many innocent lives have been claimed by our government..but they give you rights, and if you dont like what they do then stop complaining and VOTE FOR CHANGE.
@silentlightpro I NEVER SAID AL QAEDA WAS PEACEFUL.... listen to this guy trying to put words in my mouth like a loser... You just prove that you don't know what you are talking about when you make such asshole comments. Al Qaeda is actually a form of statism... it uses institutionalized terrorism on peaceful people just like government. Governments are more like Al Qaeda. Governments don't give you rights, just the false idea that you have them... there is no such thing as voting for change.
@LibertyLounge thats odd, because I just registered to vote two weeks ago...that weird :/ maybe if you got more involved you would see how easy change is instead of whining about how statism is slavery on youtube... your no activist your just a ranter... and ive been talking about al Qaeda. almost this whole conversation, your just to hell bent on proving your own intelligence to everyone else you dont even listen to others arguments on the subject. Try re-reading our argument..then talk to me
@silentlightpro I was the Political Director for the Libertarian Party in North Carolina, and I have seen the system inside and out. I was a campaign manager for a Federal Senate candidate, and have gone to all these "great" "changing" events you seem to believe in... It's all bullshit. The system is there for the corporatists and the lobbyists, not for the small guy... in fact, they work against the small guy all the time. I'm not sure how any of this changes the facts presented in the video.
@mikeshanklin I agree, it is always against the small man, the helpless, and even sometimes the strong. And i understand,"maybe not as well as you" that change isnt easy...and im not talking about that campaigning slogan bullshit...im talking about this statism crap targeting the wrong things to try to show people exactly whats wrong.. and making themselves look crazy so anyone who tries to change the ways things happen, look like anti government loonies.
@TacticalPacifier you name and profile picture made me laugh. but aside from that i was commenting more on the stupidity of peoples stereotypes, i wasnt calling them loonies.
@LibertyLounge Just watched full video..he has some points in the taxation thing...BIG POINTS. However, there are alot of points made that are over the line, but he is trying to sway people so thats fine.
@LlywelynYllevyn Babel is just another myth meant to perpetuate your slavery to a pretend morality that is, in fact, not moral at all. Your JUDEO-CHRISTIAN-MUSLIM traditions are nothing more than old stories rehashed with a lot of dogma to create a nice little couch for you to rest your mind on.
@rebelq1 Tribal Elders. The oldest form of law makes. Each generation of Elder determined what he thought was right for the rest of the village, and the rest followed blindly.
@LlywelynYllevyn You believe you can make the world better through controlling peaceful people through terrorism?!? Why use state violence on peaceful people? Why can't you leave me and my family alone?!?
I believe the solution is simple. Fight against globalism. The more people a government body has to control, the more laws said government makes. The power should be with smaller governing body. I don't believe those in Washington share the same views as I do, nor do those in my State capital. So, why are they forcing me to follow their rules that I had no say in making? Smaller communities of like minded people will always provide more freedom to it's people than a globalist society.

Agreed, statism should go. Right after I know what all our alternatives are.
23Personality 1 month ago
@23Personality
The alternative is a system that enforces individual liberty instead of pretending to enforce collective liberty (i.e, "democracy" or more accurately tyranny of the masses). A system where the tyranny is the individual. Such systems do exist but they make the filthy elites quake and the jack boots rage.
buckaroopopcorn 1 month ago
@buckaroopopcorn "tyranny is the individual."

TheForwardGaze 3 months ago
@TheForwardGaze So we are not allowed to speak the truth? That there would be no corporations (institutions that are government created/licensed/protected) in a free market?!? People twist things to their own gain all the time. I think it's pretty clear anarcho-capitalists are against state capitalism... that is our point. People twist everything, you will not convince me to stop speaking facts and reality.
mikeshanklin 3 months ago 23
@mikeshanklin Which did Milton Friedman most promote, anarcho-capitalism or state capitalism? He was corrupted, like Alan Greenspan, the neoliberals, and anyone else who's been made a part of the state apparatus. Ron Paul hasn't been corrupted, but he also hasn't made even a dent in the system. We on the left have been more successful fighting state capitalism (with a few civil rights, regulations and welfare programs), because we have no romantic or purist notions about capitalism.
TheForwardGaze 3 months ago
@TheForwardGaze Civil rights, regulations and welfare programs are all statist. You're not making any sense.
sheepOG 2 months ago
@sheepOG I was making the point in my other comment that liberals/progressives made a dent in capitalism (the state) while anarcho-capitalism hasn't. The state exists to protect capital. They're synonymous. Progressive liberal state capitalism (politically center-left) is the middle road, full of good and bad compromises. Liberals and progressive liberals support state capitalism but also try to reform it or compensate for it through welfare, unions, regulations, civil rights, etc.
TheForwardGaze 2 months ago
@TheForwardGaze I would describe myself as a libertarian. According to you, why is this wrong? What is the difference between libertarianism and anarchism? Seems to me like both groups want the government out of our lives.
skcin7 2 months ago
@skcin7 Yes, American "libertarians" (anarcho-capitalists) do have a lot in common with anarchists (anti-state socialists), like opposition to the state. But the difference between them is huge, and that's capitalism itself. The basis of anarchism is opposition to all forms of authority or social hierarchy, and anarchists believe that capitalism is inherently hierarchical and authoritarian. So anarcho-capitalism becomes an oxymoron.

Interesting video...makes one think.
Theman101289 4 months ago
@Theman101289 The whole point about voluntaryism is that if one free market firm goes array, the people could switch/create something to switch. There are numerous incentives in a free market that discourage companies from turning violent. The same reason a courtroom can tackle you over wearing a hat in their property whereas Best Buy most likely won't even ask you to take your hat off while inside.... at least we could put these free market firms out of business through ostracism.
mikeshanklin 4 months ago
@Theman101289 I think you might consider carefully your reasoning for preferring minarchy to anarchy - what you are essentially saying is that anarchy MIGHT end up like the system we have now and that is not desirable, so instead we should stick with the system we have. I would trade a "now exists" for a "might one day exist" as far as the state is concerned.
dkmdlb 3 months ago
there you go again saying police are people we hire to steal for us. Say what you are for, not what you're against.

jackhammer111 3 months ago
@jackhammer111 lol, it's not up for debate,... it's not like I am making this stuff up. It is just facts. A victimless crime is a term used to refer to actions that have been ruled illegal but do not directly violate or threaten the freedoms/rights of another individual or their property.
Examples include drug prohibition, prohibition on prostitution, taxation theft (not giving this corrupt/violent monopoly your property voluntarily), restrictions to peaceful trade, even minimum wage...

I don't entirely disagree with much of what you say, but I've come to see our problems today as a result of our ignorance and lack of real participation, not statism itself. If all we do is vote every now and then, while serving our own selfish goals in life, then yeah, statism is gonna be ugly. But if a population acutally takes part in a real way, and is truly represented, I think any preconceived notions based on the past are useless, because they all assume the peoples coercion.
rhth79 5 months ago

Nightshift10000 5 months ago
@Nightshift10000 The nonaggression principle system is not "the wrong one"... aggressionist violence is wrong. You still have the right to defend yourself and the use of violence to do so, BUT, you are not allowed to be the AGGRESSOR, that it is wrong to use AGGRESSIVE VIOLENCE. The problem with statism is that it calls for violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. It is not based around options and choice and freedom, but rather, on aggressive violence.
mikeshanklin 5 months ago

When politicians discovered they can void the constitution without consequences.
ebrake 5 months ago
@ebrake You think going back to the original Constitution with its slavery is best?!? What do you need to use aggressive violence on peaceful people/government for?!? Not sure why you need a system that only has the legal right to abuse rights to protect rights...
pfpmovement 5 months ago
@pfpmovement Indeed, slavery was the result of compromise during the drafting of the constitution. The constitution was an anti-slavery document but it didn't go far enough to completely abolish the practice. If you don't believe me, read article 1 section II - providing 3/5 vote to slaves. This could be seen as being a "racist/pro-slavery" move but in fact is exactly the opposite. At the time, the south had a huge slave population and would thus have greater representation in congress.
ebrake 5 months ago
@ebrake Yeah, 3/5ths of a person so their slaveowners could have more votes.... sure makes me think that document was about ending slavery... Let's be serious, every government is against individual rights, and is an infringement on some peaceful person. That is all governments have, the use of threats of aggressive violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. If that is not what government is, then it is not a government... just a regular business/charity. Governments are slavery.

Please, explain, how do you kick the crap out of statism?!? Don't you think it is easier to just educate people onto who is the bully, and then to ostracize their bullishness out of society?!? How do you kick statism's ass if not education?
mikeshanklin 5 months ago
8 min in and I have to say that this is only one form of statisim and it's a spacific one. Facisim. Now the video knows nothing about republic and mind you the US is not a republic but America was. What is truely funny is this video attempts to create the same exact thing as the maxists. A promised utopia that will never work. To learn more just ask.
Edgrot 5 months ago
@Edgrot Completely untrue, marxists believe in using aggressive violence on peaceful people to create prosperity... anarchists at least realize there is no utopia and strive instead for individual personal choice/freedom for peaceful people. The constitution is still a version of slavery because they will throw you in a cage if you do not fund the government's ponzi scheme, and all Republics have failed (turned Marxist). If anything, Republics are closer to utopian thought than Freedom/anarchy.

I am not sure why individual choice and individual freedom cannot exist in your mind.

How would a voluntary firm fund its "wars" without taxation theft?!? How is this sustainable when everyone else in the community refuses to participate with this firm? Not sure where you see them getting their money from since they can't legally steal it like the state/military industrial complex...

@mikeshanklin Haha didn't mean to imply that it was my way of raising a family at all. Just some generalizations and observations. Marx (Kessel Moses Mordecai Levy), Lenin (Oolinoff), and Trotsky (Liev Davodovitch Bronstein) were agents of the British Crown and the Rothschilds. No government can be perfect, but that doesn't mean all government should be abolished. If government programs were voluntary then the rich would never contribute because the rich don't need help. Forced collective action is justified in the name of equality.
johnrcoben 7 months ago
@johnrcoben So you believe people should be slaves? That their property can be infringed on? That they do not have the right to what they justly acquired through peaceful means?
mikeshanklin 7 months ago 9
@mikeshanklin I would say that a working class person in a free market is a wage slave. Someone has to decide what "justly acquired" is. Just because some action isn't physical doesn't mean it isn't violent. You talk as if people receive their property directly from god or stumble upon it. There are too many assumptions in your point of view for me. Is property "justly acquired" through the work of others who are paid less than the value of the result of their own efforts?

Respond to this video... If a person is financially successful, don't they owe that much more to the government that protected them and secured them during their risk? To the very society that enabled their success? All those guns are occasionally pointed at bad guys too.
johnrcoben 7 months ago
@johnrcoben "If a person is financially successful, don't they owe that much more to the government that protected them and secured them during their risk?"
There have always been financially successful people, including before there was an income tax or even a US Federal government. Even back in Biblical days there were wealthy people. Abraham was very wealthy in cattle and gold, and had a small private army of servants and relatives that kept him safe, just as one example.
TheBullionBull 7 months ago
@TheBullionBull If I remember correctly, a drought came along and Abraham had to go to the Egyptian government for food.

@johnrcoben "If government programs were voluntary then the rich would never contribute because the rich don't need help."
How does someone get rich? In a free society, you get rich by contributing the technology, goods, and services that other people want, which is a great contribution.
TheBullionBull 7 months ago
@TheBullionBull Some would say you get rich by exploiting the working class. It all depends on your point of view.
johnrcoben 7 months ago
@johnrcoben "Some would say you get rich by exploiting the working class."
Working class is the dumbest term. Most small business owners work much harder than their employees. Everyone, with rare exception, works. Its just a matter of how productive you are.
TheBullionBull 7 months ago

1tonykirk 7 months ago
@1tonykirk I'd believe that, but the solution isn't anarchy.
johnrcoben 7 months ago
@johnrcoben Who mentioned Anarchy? We need to get any new Congressmen, State or US, to sign off on an Affidavit that will support THE ORIGINAL US CONSTITUTION. If you "think" you know what I mean then you are
unfamiliar with: "The Act of 1871", USA vs US, and on YT: " Republic of Missouri, the Change Our Founders Believed In".
Peace,
1tonykirk 7 months ago
@1tonykirk I don't need any of you pointing guns at peaceful people, I will take Freedom and choice over government monopolization through threats of violence. Sorry, not into the whole gang warfare... would much rather have voluntaryism and freedom through privately funded dispute resolution organizations and multi-tiered arbitration in a pro-choice society where individual rights are put first, instead of statism slavery...
mikeshanklin 7 months ago
@mikeshanklin Gang warfare? What are you drinking?
Under the substituted Constitution created in 1871, we were all Incorporated in America serving the British Crown.
Your name is in all Capital Letters today because every document you've signed off on to enact a Business or be Employed by one has made you voluntarily waive your Rights as a Natural Person, and an Artificial one taxable under Maritime Admiralty Law was created.
Social Security placed us as collateral for the Bankruptcy of 1933
1tonykirk 7 months ago
@1tonykirk All statism is is gang warfare... it's a domestic war. I don't need any government, just a free society. You can keep the parchment papers and Constitutions and all the other statist documents that create and support governments, I am against gang warfare, I am against politics and pro-freedom. The only real free society is one without monopolized violent threats from governments. I am drinking reality... and I don't need any Constitution nor state.
mikeshanklin 7 months ago
@mikeshanklin You are throwing the baby out with the bath water. Men need Laws to organize any Society.
Ours were not just subverted, they were replaced by a fraudulent US Constitution w/ the Act of 1871. It is why Lincoln had to be eliminated. He instituted the Corporation to issue a new currency to finance the Union Army in the Civil War against the Confederates financed by Queen Victoria and the Rothschild Bank of England.
If our original system was so bad, why did Bismarck imitate it?
1tonykirk 7 months ago
@mikeshanklin Why did Czar Nicholas, whose Railroads we were constructing in Siberia, threaten The Queen and the Rothschilds with sending a fleet to defend America against a British Incursion to support the Confederates. The Queen and the Rothschilds later used the Bolsheviks ( Zionism) to not only bring Russia down, but to assassinate the entire Romanov Family months after the Czar abdicated,
In the mid 19th Century when we were free of the Banksters, we became the most powerful dynamo on Earth

@johnrcoben They may tax, and regulate in the name of equality, but their justification is not their motive.

Recently I negatively commented on your statism video... however you have some points and I apologize..we are not at the peak yet, but I have and hold tightly to hope that one day, a dream of prosperity and freedom in individual rights may prosper..
silentlightpro 7 months ago
There's no ethos in your argument. All you're doing is just using a purely logos type argument then taking police videos out of context to support it with pathos. The government may be doing a poor job by covering it up, but you're not doing any better by blatently lying with those images.
EnsignN7 7 months ago
@EnsignN7 The argument is that statism has nothing but threats of violence on peaceful people who simply disagree.... Please, prove to us that the theft of justly acquired property is not stealing... please, explain how theft is not theft...
LibertyLounge 7 months ago
@LibertyLounge You are claiming that this is theft and I'm stating that I do not believe you because of the lack of evidence. The burden of "proof" falls on you, not me. It's the same problem in watch?v=sNDZb0KtJDk
EnsignN7 7 months ago
@EnsignN7 What happens if I do not pay my taxes? They will grab me and throw me in a cage... after tons of "nice" little threat letters.... Taxation is defined as... "A tax "is not a voluntary payment or donation"". Taxes are based on compulsion. If you do not pay, they WILL use government aggressive force on you. What do you call it when people threaten to take money from you no matter what? Life is either choice/voluntary based, or compulsion based... taxation is compulsion based.
LibertyLounge 7 months ago
@LibertyLounge And what will happen when this system is taken away? Anarchy isn't true freedom. It just allows the strongest to determine the rules and any form of safety net is removed. You cannot promise me anything with Anarcy as well because there are no official laws. Who is to say you won't do the same thing as taxation if you were given control? At least with the current system there are exemptions and methods of appeal.
EnsignN7 7 months ago
Actually, the nonaggression principle is freedom, and Anarchy aims to advance the message of the nonaggression principle. Anarchy is simply choice. Anarchy is not a political system, it is against human entrapment and pro-choice. I actually have a video coming out soon that will explain DRO (Dispute Resolution Organizations) and other freedom ideals that you might be young enough to see before you die... let's hope so. Please, explain how taxation is possible without taxation...
mikeshanklin 7 months ago

You see, the government and parasitic politicians you see as monsters, I see as people who are voted into office by ill informed, un-grateful, miss lead, people such as you.
silentlightpro 7 months ago
@silentlightpro I'm a little confused, how can people who don't vote... elect bad rulers?!? That makes no sense at all... Another question.... how does responsible drug use by adults equate to a crime? How does murdering 0.3 Million innocent Iraqi children not count as a crime? Do you deny the FACT that government has nothing outside the legal right to the use of threats of aggressive violence on peaceful people who simply disagree. What makes it different from a business if not?
LibertyLounge 7 months ago
@LibertyLounge How about you vote then? Any US citizen may vote It is our right. And by "responsible drug use" do you mean the over 700,000 cocaine/heroin related deaths of peoples in the U.S. alone in 2010? And by people who disagree do you mean the I.T.N. known as Al qaida responsible for the deaths of now MILLIONS!! 1,200,000 estimated!? Yes, they disagree with life and liberty and would kill your free ass if given the chance. But they cant because your government that you hate protects you.
silentlightpro 7 months ago
@silentlightpro You do not have a right to steal from peaceful people who simply disagree, who told you that lie?!? The system?!? Well, it is NOT a right. You do NOT have the right to murder and steal from peaceful people...
Another question, how come we still have cocaine and heroin deaths in statism?!? Wasn't your fantasy statism slavery suppose to end drug use?!? LMFAO... you probably think they can run our health care too... you fucking stupid ass slavedrivers... KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME!
LibertyLounge 7 months ago
@LibertyLounge How can you say that Al qaida is a peaceful peoples? They are the ones responsible for stealing and murdering the innocent! Your probably just another coke head pissed because they got caught... Your right! Stealing and murdering the innocent is not right, and i have know idea how many innocent lives have been claimed by our government..but they give you rights, and if you dont like what they do then stop complaining and VOTE FOR CHANGE.
silentlightpro 7 months ago
@silentlightpro I NEVER SAID AL QAEDA WAS PEACEFUL.... listen to this guy trying to put words in my mouth like a loser... You just prove that you don't know what you are talking about when you make such asshole comments. Al Qaeda is actually a form of statism... it uses institutionalized terrorism on peaceful people just like government. Governments are more like Al Qaeda. Governments don't give you rights, just the false idea that you have them... there is no such thing as voting for change.
LibertyLounge 7 months ago
@LibertyLounge just calm down, most of these people have no idea what is going on... we are all learning. Just try to keep your cool and educate...
mikeshanklin 7 months ago

I'm not sure how any of this changes the facts presented in the video.
mikeshanklin 7 months ago
@mikeshanklin I agree, it is always against the small man, the helpless, and even sometimes the strong. And i understand,"maybe not as well as you" that change isnt easy...and im not talking about that campaigning slogan bullshit...im talking about this statism crap targeting the wrong things to try to show people exactly whats wrong.. and making themselves look crazy so anyone who tries to change the ways things happen, look like anti government loonies.
