i don't think the BPM matters in making any type of genre. its just depends on how you use the elements to make the genre.

trance is in my opinion higher.

I have maked my first trance track with 140 bpm. So i think its a good for trance..

but 120?... this is really slow.

The track is ok, but turn the bpm on 140.. its better!!

I've just downloaded the vengance pack but I can't change the note length of synths and basses and other sounds, could anyone tell me how to do that? Changing their length in the pianoroll doesn't work.

Click on the synth that you want then go to ''SMP'' then turn up the ''CRF'' up abit,

After that you'll see some red lines come up on the vol thingy. :>

@PhoenixFireFx I never said it was all about the bpm, and dubstep is more about the bpm than the 'wub' anyways. Dubstep has always been either around 70 bpm with a 2-step beat, or 140 bpm with a half step beat. The 'wub' isn't essential to dubstep.

@PhoenixFireFx Dubstep doesn't come from electro, it comes from 2-step garage and dub. That song was not drumstep, because drumstep is DnB with a half-step beat. Kode9 is one of the ORIGINATORS of dubstep, and he was making dubstep music way back in 2002. Please do a little research before you try to pretend to know what you're talking about.
