attempt was good but just like other "miracle" claims, it didn't stand either. The latitude of Mecca is 21 degree 25 minute=21.416667 degrees. If I take the way you used to calculate the ratio, then it comes out to be 1.6246. The golden ratio is 1.618

Next point is that there are infinite number of places both in the northern and southern hemisphere which will satisfy this condition ,i.e. every location where latitude is 25 degree 15 mintute North and 25 degree 15 minute South.

Ce chiffre d'or m'a tjrs épaté! la 1ere fois ke je l'ai découvert c t sur un livre de dessin alors ke g t enfant! on dit que le point d'intersection des 2 lignes horizontale et verticale au niveau de ce chiffre représente le centre d'interrêt du tableau et ça me réjouit vraiment de savoir ke la Meque se situe sur ce pt et représente ainsi le centre d'interret du + beau tableau grandeur nature: LA TERRE!Soubhan Allah , c extraordinaire!!
