  • thats one sweet layout

  • Who's the president of this railroad,GOMEZ ADAMS????? LOL

  • 1:34 poor signal man

  • With all that meat laying around time for cookout :)

  • Take the existing videos you made here and slow them down by a factor of o.3 to o.1 in a video editor, save 'em under a new name and it will look like the real thing. You'll have to cook up your own sounds.... but don't use music.

  • I think they derail at the faulty switch

  • Funny how the cars keep crashing into eachother

  • before one of the derailments i saw a spark from the car that derailed lol

  • That was interesting you guys. Now you need to prepare an area of break a way rails and deep roadbed gravel for a even more realistic wreck sequence. have a pair of Geeps and some cars get pushed into that set up and post it here. Plan your shots for optimal effect.

  • This is the only model train simulation wreck that is worth watching. Good job!

    Rick

  • is this ho

  • I hope you don't do that on purpose, I think I'd be frightened to have my passenger train on your layout.

  • i always wanted these but the smaller scale ones i 4 got there name somone tell me

  • I'm amazed that no couplers or anything got broken with the way the train was crashing like that

  • hmmmm

  • are you simulating real crashes or just having too much fun?

  • I hope you enjoyed yourselves and I hope you get kicked out of that club. I know how hard lt is to build and maintain these large layouts and your lack of respect for them and their efforts should be rewarded with a swift kick in your caboose!

  • Amazing at the prices of model railroad cars and locomotive you would do this. Pretty stupid I think

  • thats not a very good train lol

  • Was thers something pushing the cars into the derailment or do they have that much momentum on "O"?

  • O scale?

  • @ogauge47 Yes, that was the O scale layout at our museum.

  • @gsmrm I guess that that proves how tough those All Nation boxcars really are

  • I don't thank that is funny, That

look like a nice Train layout. I

shure would not do that to my

    layout;

  • i thik it was a big crach so yeas

  • 1:34 wouldn't like to be that signal man

  • Красиво :)

  • Might wanna think about some pedestrian casualties as well, I've got some horses that take a beat'n from the slot cars after the esses .Auto/tank car collisions r f'shizzle.

Go see deadhead snotubes off roof AT

Brainslks/fun in snow BANZAI !!! (|;)- It's not all about the trains

  • Best crash to restage would probably be the

"Sunset Limited"! what's not to like? Bridge knocked out by wayward barge, disoriented injured passengers fight for their lives in alligator infested waters? I smell Halloween project!(|;)-

  • Brainslikey fortunately u don't have to sacrifice the engines as you would with a nice 30• head-oner, but it looked like a lot of messed up KDee#5's

  • re-enact the train crash in Baltimores CSX tunnel, there was a fire underground, fire under the city!!! i went in the tunnel like 4 years later and got a tour of the baltimores prison right afterward. damn CSX police, i hate bulls! i have an HO set with zombies and burning cars. and a Amtrak derailment scene.

  • Very nice :)

  • That actually looked very realistic for a model, great job!

  • was there and engine pushing from behind? I was wondering why the cars kept going after it derailed

  • Addams does it right. Next attempt why not use explosives, you'll get more hits.

  • All the trains I have had are the ones that have the couplers attached to the trucks (un-realistic). Are these cars (that have the coupler on the car itself) more expensive?

  • Wow. xD

  • hate to clean up that derailment

  • You should make a train derail on a bridge

    =p

  • @DisasterMaster5000 If you visit the museum you might be "lucky" to see that -- we have occasional accidents and derailments on the big bridge, and cars fall down the mountain 10 feet to the floor...

  • @gsmrm I was at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry when they had a head on derailment!

It was kind of funny because just moments before the operator switched the Empire Builder (one of the trains involved) to avert another accident. But, as we just had our derailment at Chicago Union Station, a careless switchman was to blame.

  • Haha!

  • Catastrophe!!!

  • so causing wreck by switching the track lol

  • @WorldOfNothin Exactly...

  • great vid but doesn't wrecking your box cars ruining your couplers?

  • @CmoneyF22 The couplers can take a bit of abuse, but we try not to derail the cars very much...

  • You guys should have the santa fe train go through the junction (not derail) and go onto the second track and collide head-on with that Amtrak train in the backround. Could you do that?

  • @trinityct The Amtrak train in the back is on a different part of the layout - it takes quite a while for the two trains to travel around the layout in order to meet.

  • @gsmrm You could switch the interlocking that you used to make them meet once they do. And you could re-rail all of the trains and then back both of them up to make them collide again or something. Or, you could just derail the Amtrak train all by itself. Either way these are some good crashes.

  • The track inspector said " What rough spot "

  • how was the train still going

  • @csxkid01 The scene was staged - we used an engine to push the entire train, the engine you saw was a dummy.

  • awesome ATSF engine!! who makes it and what model is it?

  • Good thing you were not pulling tankers. lol

    Chuck

  • @chiconian49 That might have caused some serious damage!

  • was this intentional

  • Yes, we needed some crash scenes for our DVD, so we threw the switch under the train as it passed the double crossover...

  • lol
