  • @MrTheZBrle

"He may be terrible but does being terrible mark someone for death?"

    Yes, yes it does.

  • live are even better than studio version!

  • Ludzie pokochalem ten zespól che zeby zagrali w Rzeszowie :D:D pozdrawiam !!!!!!

  • ANZAC!!!!!

  • MOTHERFUCKERS

    SABATON COME TO SLOVENIA NAO!!!

  • Year 2033 and still listening to this.

  • Justin Bieber has 92 youtube account....

  • ZAJEKURWABISTE

  • awesome song!

  • Amazing song.

A battle that few outside Anzac and Turkey even know about.

As Sabaton says, never forget a fallen soldier.

They gave it all for thier nation, regardles of wich side they fought on !

  • The great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

  • I'm Australian and I think this song is mad, it's true we did get fucked up big time, they chucked the ANZAC's into a meat grinder and everyone had to do the best they could in the shit situation they were in. No disrespect to the Turkish war is fucked shit happens what matters is how we feel today and I have nothing against the Turkish people at all and I don't see any reason why I should. This song is sik and so is the band.

  • @MaximumKahnage I have absolutely no idea about which song you are talking about, cause it`s surely not this one. There is not even a single word about hatred to Turkish people in all lyrics, there is not even a word Turkish in the lyrics. This is song telling about death of thousands of poeple in the battle for Gallipoli and praising their heroism. If you think that`s sick, then I`m very sorry for you.

  • @inchop ??? we're talking bout the exact same song I agree it's about the heroes that fought and died while being fed bullshit orders, in Australia we have a day dedicated to the Anzacs that died at Gallipoli. My comment was to even out some of the other comments on this video if you'd bothered reading down more then two comments you'd see what I mean since there seems to be a lot of tools here, and I said the song and the band was sik, it's true why are you sorry? you sound like a knob

  • @MaximumKahnage Sorry, didn`t read your previous comments. You could have made that an anwser to one of such though, the way you did it noone knows what are you talking about.

  • @inchop

It even has qoutes from the Turkish prime minister and the Memorial for the Turkish soldiers in the lyrics, and Sabaton never has any form of hate/anger/racism towards any group in their songs.

  • @ElMagarito Yah no hate against anyone other then Nazis XD

  • @inchop Over here in Australia we have a term "sick" which is just slang for something awesome of something we think is cool. so he didn't mean the song was disgusting or band etc. He was right about the Anzac (Australian New Zealand Army Corp) fighting in Gallipoli and that war was fucked up men were fighting for unjust reasons many died for the sake of just dying.... I think that's what the previous comment was trying to say. It's harder on line to understand where one is coming from

  • @healthenations You really use sick about something cool? Strange, but now I understand what did he mean. Thanks for explaining, cause it was relly a conundrum for me. I knew about ANZAC and not only Galipoli was fucked up. That entire war was.

  • if it gonna be 100 dislikes-we have war with dislikers

  • The band perfect live Sabaton eternity forever metal \m/

  • @ninjaspyfan

They have been led by both Turkish and German commanders. But the true commander was Atatürk.

  • This is a song about how TURKISH HEROES fucked your imperialist asses (British + French + their slave colony, Australia).

300.000 dead including the biggest ship sunk in Gallipoli.

  • @atakan5909 turkish 'heroes' led by one of those imperialists (a german if you weren't aware)

that shit isnt relevant go fuck a landmine

  • @Ninjaspyfan lolol Mustafa Kemal Pasha(later Atatürk) was the major commander of the battle. Germans were nothing in this battle. There was a single German commander and he sacked from the army.

  • Zajebisty teledysk

  • @vader2411 wiem

  • My favorite song from Sabaton. \m/

  • Does anyone agreed with me that the singer just doesn't look like a metal singer?

Good thing he is, cause he's awesome

  • @Soldierlozer I think he looks like Soap McTavish from call of duty =)

  • i like his vest.

  • @Jasiu1290 may there are turcophobes organised to dislike.

  • @Jasiu1290 so lousy with JB, like if you've fallen under heavy machine gun under Gallipoli.

  • @Jasiu1290 Stop with the Justin Bieber crap seriously. We all know every person with a taste of music Dislikes Justin bieber. But hey some people like it let them. Why should you give a damn what they listen to just be happy you listen to good music and they will probaly never learn the meaning of the word Music. So stop the hate comments JB is crap we all know it we dont need constant reminders of it okays.

  • @RawrSaysDrake Dude STFU that little fag must die!!!!

  • @MrTheZBrle Why does he deserve to die for singing how he wants?

He may be terrible but does being terrible mark someone for death? It's not like he did anything to us personally.

Stop being a little cunt and jump off your hate bandwagon kid, it's not cool it never was cool, you just want to be apart of something.

  • @daziac Every band steals something from other bands.

  • masters of war \m/

    SABATON <3

  • Turks won victory bu lost 250.000 people without lost soldiers...allied lost 230.000 ıt was something like that.

  • sabaton you are the best

  • what a great fucking song and just so great to listen too and u just cant help but know know the lyrics and sing along

  • The sad thing is that in Australia people care more about a military fiasco/invasion than about some of our great victories; Tobruk, Kokoda, Long Tan etc

  • nun ich bin eine gummi puppe

  • ww1

  • Perfect mix of Piano and metal.

  • Was Gallipolli World War II or I, Or Both?

  • @omega2333 I may have my dates or battles wrong..

  • @omega2333 WWI

  • @omega2333 WW1

  • When the First Australian Infantry Force hit the Cliffs of Gallipolli, 12 of my ancestors were there. 9 did not come back. After WW1 when our Prime Mionister rose to speak, the American President asked him what giave him the right to speak. Ignorance! Hads he not read anything? Billy responded with '60,000 war dead and 140,000 wounded. What gives you the right to speak?' Australia only had a pop of 5mio then A band from Sweden almost a century on new more than a sitting US President!

  • They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

  • Why 87 dislike, can you can find anything beter then this? (don't think so).

  • @ShadeInBlou well ghost devision?

  • @ShadeInBlou They probably could find something better, it's all a matter of opinion, however, their opinions are wrong.

  • My Doctor said that i have Sabaton fever and the only antidote is to listen more songs

  • am i the only one getting constant shivers while watching this?

  • awesome song :)))

  • its amazing i think that justin bieber never saw sabaton and thats why he is like is \

  • this song isn't about being turk or australian. ''There is no enemy there is no victory

Only boys who lost their lives in the sand'' Germany used Turks England used Anzacs just wasted many young lives. The biggest universities could not even graduate a single student in Turkey at year 1916.(Ottoman at that time). And 3 HIGH SCHOOLS could not graduate any student either. Same waste for Anzacs. Beatufil song and lyrics for both sides.

  • @zambak123 I wanna say it might deal with the Turks. I know they did a song about them. Back in WW1 there was a Turkish platoon or something that literatly had no ammo left at all. Instead of surrendering, the Captain (I'm pretty sure he was a Captain) told his men to just charge with bayonetts. Every single man died and their group was the 57th somthing I believe and seeing how they did that, that number no longer exsist in the Turkish army on honor of those men.

  • @theangrybeaver08 what I meant was that this song is not supporting any side like the other songs about poland. This grieve is for the youngs from both sides. And yes it was the 57th they are legendary for us. they also refer to the letter written by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to the australian mothers. He says' mothers wipe your tears, they will reast in peace with us. after they died in our lands they are also our sons.' so what I meant was that this song honors and grieves both sides beautifuly

  • @zambak123 Thank you for pointing that out. But I looked it up and I was mostly wrong. It does deal with the Turks, but Gallipoli was a big battle that did deal with the people like you said. I did not know that the one line was part of his letter tho. Thank you for that. Either way, Sabaton did a great job on it.

  • @theangrybeaver08 yeah agreed very good job. Also an interesting footnote for you. Many letters were found written by the soldiers to their families, lovers etc. on the battle field-Left the letters in the sand ;) you can find many interesting things about this conflict if you do a little research I just wnat to say that this conflict was not like the others. It is really special if u look for the details what happened between the soldiers etc you'll understand what I mean =) LISTEN SABATON 4EWA

  • @zambak123 Wow. I love history, but mainly WW2. I am a big researcher for it. But thanks for that info. I will definitly have to check this out. You have opened up a new page for me to look at. But I did look up the 57th regiment and I really only read or found about how they ran out of ammo and the Captain just told them to not surrender and go out in a blaze of glory. That hit me pretty hard inspirationaly.

  • @theangrybeaver08 but yes maybe it seems to be a little bit more about Turks.

  • piosenka zajebi.ta moja ulubiona ale cięrzko to nazwać teledyskiemkto się zgadza łapa w góre

cool song but my favorite is called teledyskiemkto cięrzko agrees paw upwards

  • @lol99sobieski na przyszłość nie używaj translatora ok :D bo to co napisałeś dziwnie bbrzmi po angielksu ok :D

  • @Panzerputney Absolutely man :) Australians seem to often be forgotten in the media and in rememberance... for example, in Vietnam, the Australian troops were considered some of the most fearsome, while the Americans never seemed to get the hang of guerilla warfare. (British, but totally agreewith you) :D

  • @MrFissionMailed

Funny thing is in the UK (or at least the parts i dwell) the commonwealth forces are always remembers for many of their wars and contributions, while British troops get forgotten (like the forgotten army, the largest british army ever, hows that for irony).

  • @MrFissionMailed GO THE DIGGERS!

  • SABATON FTW!!!!!1

  • We may as well thank them, or else they died for no point, which really they did. A sacrifice is a Sacrifice no matter how pointless, and a sacrifice should be honored.

  • CLIFFS OF NICOLLIPOLI

  • Sabaton, the actual best Metal band

  • ugh no one knows how much i dislike metal... but i respect this song they have a great feeling solo, amazing timing, and this guy has a good voice... great song

  • sabaton is the only gband i know who sings avbout war without making it glorious

  • The Ode:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

    We will remember them.

    Lest We Forget.

  • 3:58 - awesome guitar rift.

  • Thank you Australians and NZ who fought in that War. WE will remeber

  • @panzerputney you kidding? why thank these people who had do fight and die an a war they were completely not involved to anyway? these poor kids had to leave their motherlands and invade a country which hasnt anything to do with australia or nz, only because the european monarchs were fucking around millions of people had to die.....

  • @Adoeniz ...well because they where still brave soldiers and back then Australia Condisered them part of Britain. Gallipoli sent the Australians and NZ along with some poor Brits to a hell hole which proved nothing but its still good to thank the soldiers for their sacrifice is it not?

  • @panzerputney i understand what you mean but still, a sacrifice for what? yes, it is honorable and brave to go in war for your motherland and their deaths and struggle must not be forgotten, but i disagree to thank them because as a result that they had to go there and fulfill the wishes of the monarchs thousands of miles away, they only brought suffer over themselfes and the counterpart in that war.

  • @Adoeniz I agree with what your saying aswell. Gallipoli was a stupid conflict with nothing but death, but I just feel that it is right to thank them for their sacrifice even if it was lying monarchs. Don't forget the Australians fought in the Western front aswell where I suppose it counted more. I guess being an Australian i fell that i should thank any fallen soldier that fights for us, even if the war is pointless(such as afganistan now) i still feel that i should thank them :)

  • some people are remembered for their living

    other for their dying

utmost aim is not to live as long as possible, but live well and die well.

Many boys have died because of some motherf@ckers whose prime concern is to raise their money by some billions.

  • manly tears were shed.

  • @Valtyr86 yes

  • Forever remembered, the sons and daughters of all nations who lost their lives in war.

    Rest in peace.

  • 'Young men where sacrificed the names are carved in stone and kept alive and forever we will honour the memory of them.' In memory of all the Canadians who met their fates at Sulva bay in 1915, the beaches of Normandy in 44' and every conflict before and after. Lest we forget.

  • @Dobbie71064 why can't there be more people like you? Your not bitching about anything. Not bashing anouther country. You are in rememberence of the men who faught and died for what they knew was right. Thank you for posting this comment.

  • In my opinion the greatest song from Sabaton! Those soldiers are worth that we remember them and their unnecessary death! Thanks Sabaton that you don't forget all the wasted lifes!!

  • 11/11/11, we will remember them

  • @princess435010 Please share The Price of a Mile on your facebook page and add a message to it.

  • I wouldn't really listen to Sabaton if it weren't for my history teacher who told us about this song while learning about the ww1.

  • @SharpistSabaton CORRECTION! One of the best

  • good song, but for some reason the piano bugs me

  • @Pattipileloader The piano is what I actually like about this video haha, a unique twist for a band such as Sabaton.

  • well, I don't know about you guys, but in my opinion Sabaton is the best fucking power metal band in the world.

  • @musicianboi personally, i think there the only band worth of being called power metal.

  • @musicianboi War Metal but doesn't change anything about their coolness only the part of Mothers wipe your tears i find a bit to cruel

  • awesome video

  • 86 idiots

  • i am from Greece and i fell great respect for these heroes they may rest in peace

  • @JONIN23 fuck you sabaton rulez

  • The Turkish nation is industrious.Turks are clever, compassionate and very brave.

  • I officially hate British war plans

    Reason

Gallipoli was a British. They said it was pivotal to the war...it served for jack shit poor buggers who served there

  • I Love Sabaton *____*

  • My mom and dad said that metal (including SAbaton) sucks. I'm an orphan now.

  • @RedArmySoldier666 Same with me :D

  • @RedArmySoldier666 Your parents are stupid lol My whole family loves metal! (From Black Metal to heavy metal lol) We drove like 500 miles to go see Sabaton! And it was amazing! :P

  • @RedArmySoldier666 Yeah but what you dont said is that your parents realized that metal is magnifiscent, and that was a double suicide. ;)

  • @RedArmySoldier666

    that's not funny retard

  • @envagyokdjbalint 58 people seem to think otherwise..get a sense of humour please

  • @envagyokdjbalint 1, he was joking, 2, since he typed that comment, he is clearly not a retard

  • the first memorial in canberra on anzac drive is a crescent shaped wall with ataturks face and his words carved in the wall, he is deep in Australias conscious and almost a founding father in that he shaped Australias ties with england that led to a real seperate identity and a question of the mother country not being very motherly.

  • I think this is probably what Sabaton considers a ballad.

It's kinda slow, right? Hell, it's even got piano. Totally a ballad.

  • İstedikleri kadar böyle şarkılar yapmaya devam etsinler, hiç birisi Çanakkale Türküsü'nün yanına bile yaklaşamaz

  • Their sound is so god damn beast!

  • Both sides fought with honour and died for their respective countries. Now, in a time of moderate peace, let us cherish what these men and women accomplished in a time of war. Rest In Peace.

  • jesus , they must be eastern european

  • @olliephelan Swedish

  • @olliephelan ...........god Almighty , how could the swedes fakk for crap like th\at , i though they might be romanian or mongolian or something

  • amazing song!!! and the vocalist has a nice haircut:X:X

  • FUCKING SAVATAGE-GUTTER BALLET RIPOFF!

  • Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours... You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well. - Atatürk 1934

  • @LordTaylorK only the greeks have a difference for you right?

  • A piano in one of Sabaton's songs ? That was ... unexpected. :-)

  • @Briselance Dude they have a Keyboard player in their band. How is that unexpected?

  • the singer looks like Ivan L. Moody in this video:p

  • I just got back from there concert in toronto. they played this. everyone sang along.

    IT WAS AWSOME!!

  • Apparently those 82 people died at Gallipoli. To bad they voted first. Maybe they Entered the Sandman. They need to Fear the Reaper! It would take a total ass not to like this band.

  • Heroes who shed their blood and lost their lives! You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well.

    - Atatürks tribute to the ANZAC

  • You can learn more from ONE Sabaton song then most History books! Why aren't these guys international heroes??

  • How many wasted lives

How many dreams did fade away

    Broken promises

    They won't be comming home

My favorite quote from this song

  • Comment removed

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • 82 people are veterans from the Trippel Entente who got their asses kicked in Gallipoli.

    Hail from Sweden

  • The Part in the beginning with the piano is from another song dunno...

  • EPIC SONG.

    EPIC VIDEO.

    ENOUGH SAID.

  • i get shivers every time i hear it

  • This Band is so amazing, their lyrics are historial and critical and they are against racism. They tell us something about the "bad side" of the world. And the sound of their songs gives me power to stand up and fight for my dreams! \m/

  • OTTO Liman von Sanders (Jude)!

    Im ganzen, Mensch, deutscher.

    Ein deutscher! Fuck of Nationalsozial!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Heil Deutschland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Maidensentinel damn straight!! :D Saw them live for the first time on the 1st August, been a fan for a long time, but now I'm just obsessed, bloody awesome show :P Up the Irons!!

  • to whoever decides what gets taught in school history lessons: just play sabaton at the kids instead?

  • The Turkish 57th inf regiment was totally wiped out. The whole regiment was out of ammo. Ataturk ordered: I'm not ordering you to fight, I order you to die. In the time which passes until we die, other troops and commanders can come forward and take our places.

The regiment fought with their bayonets, each and everyone of them died but at the end we pushed you guys back.

Out of respect for our martyrs the Turkish army doesn't have a 57th inf regiment.

  • @3choBlaster We? You did nothing.

  • @Ithilaraina Yes we, as in WE the Turks. Good job stating the obvious retard

  • @3choBlaster I see you are an individual of many words and lots of brain power. You as the individual did nothing. People claiming "they" fought and "they" won is what I'm on about. The men who fought are all dead. Hence, you did nothing. You merely take credit now.
