The high school I graduated from last year has always had the choir sing to this song during the graduation ceremony. Although they didn't play it for my group, I will always look back at my school years and friends when hearing this song. Somehow, this song makes me feel sad, or something about how this video is put together. Not sure what it is. When I think about working on the other side of the world, I don't like to thing about leaving friends, but about making new ones. Not to disrespect them, I just don't like hanging onto the past, and home is wherever you drop your anchor -- so to speak -- or wherever you let yourself experience the community.

I absolutely love this song...have been blessed with so many wonderful friends, the lord being one of them. I miss many of my friends as they are with are maker but some are just far away...but my love for them will never end..

i remember my aunt used to play this song for me when i was a little boy. they played this song at her funeral when she passed. its been almost 10 years since then and i still listen to this song when i miss her. it reminds me that even tho she left this world, we are still best friends. im 22 now and i still miss her everyday.

@dotmacis You can't just get up and leave at graduation. Besides she's not doing it now anyway. I went to Catholic school for 16 years (including college), but I've been agnostic since I was five. Logic > blind faith. Also, I don't know if it was you who did it, but just because you don't like my post it doesn't make it spam.

My faith in God grew as I watched Him work in my life and my sister's life. Yes, she was disabled, but God taught me SO many things I might never have learned if she hadn't been disabled.

I got the news today that two friends of mine are moving out of state. One of them I've known for a year, the other I've known for 5 years. I've dedicated this song to them since I heard the news. I only wish it didn't hurt so much knowing that they're leaving.

What a great song! I listen to it often. I'm 20 & a 13-yr cancer survivor. Every year I go to a camp for kids w/ cancer. On the last day we all stand in a circle, holding hands & sing this song.

Somehow, this song makes me feel sad, or something about how this video is put together. Not sure what it is. When I think about working on the other side of the world, I don't like to thing about leaving friends, but about making new ones. Not to disrespect them, I just don't like hanging onto the past, and home is wherever you drop your anchor -- so to speak -- or wherever you let yourself experience the community.
