I actually just last night made a new list that consists of Logan and Wolf Guard. I will be playing it in the next battle report so we will see how it fairs.
The only bad thing about this unit is, if you hold them in reserve and they come in on a turn where most things are in CC, then it can hurt your plans just a bit. In that situation, its best to land in cover close by and almost wait for the assault to get resolved and then move in for the plasma shots.
Nice video. I like the squad. Not sure about what you said at the beginning about terrain 'helping' drop pods. Drop pods don't avoid all terrain, just impassable. If they drop into terrain, they could easily suffer an immobilize result, blowing off their storm bolter.
Otherwise, the unit is a trade-off. 239 points that needs to make its points back. If it does, then great (and it sounds like it does). Have you considered running Logan to also make them scoring?
