  • Very Cool!

  • 190mph hoho)

  • He holds the brake at the straight?

  • @Merto6 to keep a lil temp in them.

  • @highfencejumper that can't be true you know if the temp is too low they simply use smaller ducts which will even help them for top speed

  • whats with the tachometer display? is it bugged or something?

  • we were picking up the tach signal from the crank-angle sensor which puts out 58 pulses per rev. Now multiply that times 5000 rpm and it's a lot of pulses per second. We believe the ChaseCam data module can't handle that kind of pulse rate. We either have to pull the signal off a coil or use a signal divider to reduce the number of pulses per second.

  • @MarcRRamsay ohhh i see. well good luck with that! :D

  • yeahhh i like guys your backfire thats Awesome.,,i try make my bike do samething

  • Very Awesome.

  • Good luck on the 24.Hope you guys do well

  • is this video taken from grand am site or teams site, or is it from an actual member of the team? Im guessing this is the canadian porsche also.. one of the coolest cars on the track

  • This video is from the Bullet Racing Team's site. The ChaseCam system is provided by Red Tail Racing and I will be in Daytona this week managing the cameras and data acquisition. Hopefully we'll have more video online from Qualifying and during the race.

  • awesome thanks and great job.

  • car in front.. is that 3 rotor rx8?

  • @1yakko1

Not sure, sorry. I wasn't at the practice session so I'm not sure what was there. I'll know more when we're back in Daytona this week.

  • Yes those are..The 20B Rotory Engine to be exact...Those things fly on the straights

  • Yeah, those are the 3 rotors RX8 GT cars. They took the top 3 position in the qualifying section earlier today too.The RX8s have always been strong at daytona.

  • @1yakko1

Defintally an RX-8 in front can tell by the massive fireballs that 3 rotor throws

  • Sweet!

  • Having some issues with the tach data. We hope to resolve it soon.
