Notice how Tony himself AVOIDS being asked questions but is VERY quick to ask other people supposedly controversial questions. He won`t even take a stand on Jesus in this video.

The stuff that he talks about is straight-out-of-the-survey stuff which brings to attention issues of human opinion but no any NEW biblical truth.

I gotta hand it to him . . . he is a master BSer.

What if Christians were known not by how much about their complicated hair-splitting descriptions of what they believe in--but what they just did for the world that's useful and good. Christians should be known as just good people who benefit humanity. These people seem to be interested in making up self-help hogwash to talk to each other about... That's nothing new. Scuzzy clothes and facial hair are just the contemporary outward symbols of anti-establishment. (snore)

Yes, they'll know we are Christians by our slovenly clothing and unhygienic appearance--oh, and by our slouching. What's wrong with the structure, the discipline, the rigidity of laws that govern a religious discipline as Christianity. Criticizing this guy's church is just as silly as his antiquated rules are--both of you are goof-balls for trying to decide who's better. Just have your religion and chill out.

Christians who talk about the authenticity of their faith, sporting Body Mass Indices in the mid-30's are an insult to an ancient living discipline, the religious faith called Christianity.

The problem is one of truth. Jones believes he has a/the truthful way of approaching God and attaining salvation. He is right or wrong. If he's right, then believing that the unredeemed face God's unmitigated holy wrath in eternal torment is wrong.

If God is in fact the infinitely Just and Holy Judge the bible says He is who has a Law by which He will measure us, then Jones is not just wrong, but a heretic.

Jones thinks I'm wrong, I think he's wrong. Time will certainly tell.

ill tell you why we need to have some "stables of faith". Some say that when they read the bible Jesus was a good moral teacher but that he was not God. Others say that when they read the bible God in the Old Testament was a big bully and in the New Testament he is a friendly peace loving hippy. You can pervert the bible to make it say what ever you want to say. Thing like the Nicene Creed were made to help people see the Truths of the Bible.

So...according to the second guy, in order to be a church, it needs to be neat, tidy, written on paper and have it all 'nailed down'. Gee, these terms are REALLY what I think of when I think of traditional churches and their congregations...
