(Although the backing vocal on the chorus is pretty Dickinson-y.) All in all, though, the song just doesn't grab me. Maybe trying too hard to be "primal"?

They play in a similar style to Maiden. Although, nobody can match Iron Maiden, these guys do a very good job. The vocals are different to Bruce's as this guy doesnt always sing in the high pitch Bruce does. Theres a big difference there man- this dude sings very well, Bruce makes any song come alive. Nuff said :)

I finally heard "Bright As A Fire" (another song from PRR and this album) and it's really, really good. It builds up slowly, but there are some really heavy crunch parts, an amazing riff leading into and out of the frantic 1st solo, a more melodic and soaring 2nd solo, and great harmonies at the end of the song. His guitarwork is way heavier than in Maiden, more experimental, too. Say what you will about the vocals, but they push open doors that allow Adrian to do more, be more free (IMO).
