Hello HaleyMary, I find your inspirational thoughts extremely interesting.. Here is a thought for you to ponder.. Everyone we meet, speak to, come across and even just a quick hello during our lives. we actually have an input and impact on their lives as well as our own. In other words our spirits live on forever through the people we touch spiritually everyday. This is one way of looking at the fact of life after death. For in my eyes we never die with this in mind.

I totally agree. I have my personal believes and things I feel comfortable with but I think all religious and spiritual views have something to offer the world. As long as you let everyone have their own view. I'm like a Pagan/Buddhist.
Thank you! :) It's nice to hear that there are others out there who are considering more than one spiritual view as well. yeah, exactly. As long as no-one forces their own spiritual beliefs on anyone else, I think people should feel free to believe in whatever philosophies of life they want. :)
I just want people to believe in reality, whatever that is. Because really there is only one truth and I highly doubt that there are invisible dudes that made the universe. We humans made that shit up along time ago because we wanted answers. And now we sit hear with so many sciences that are answering our questions, but masses still trust superstition over logic. One day....
I don't think spirituality has to necessarily include creators. The Sun and atoms from supernovas in the past and black holes create what we see around us today. As far as the historical Buddha and the others go, I think they were wise philosophers, but not really Gods. The universe is a spiritual place in and of itself. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. :)
interesting video, some great ideas..i'm against organised religion now, but on an important spiritual quest: certain there are mysteries to be experienced. i'm very interested in the new science, i can't really follow a lot of it but love the ideas..reincarnation i'm not sure, sometimes it seems a good thing but i am reminded of Camus' Sisyphus, or else School by Nirvana--no recess! nice to hear your thoughts, hope you are well..Dahlia.
Thanks! I honestly don't like the idea of organized religion myself. I enjoy a lot of scriptures and the music, but there are other parts that I would rather do without. I understand more of the quantum physics ideas more so than the mathematics of it all myself. if I read a book on physics with a bunch of math in it and no words I am totally lost That's why I like reading Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Michael Talbot. It explains the science in words instead of complex mathematics
I am sick of preachy religous people .....Not saying you are one .
I think everyon should be understood and wanting to have their OWN colplte point of vieww on where they came from if anywhere.... There are no logical answers anyomne can come up with .....but most religons are filled with stuff CLEARLY conceived from the human mind and not based on any actual truth.
Thanks Ethan! yeah I agree I don't like preaching very much either I mean I have my own ideas about existence and even though I share what I think on here I would never think less of anyone for believing in something else
yeah exactly You notice it throughout history a lot of the religious beliefs are somewhat the same even some religious symbols change over the years For example the cross used to be a symbol of life in ancient Egyptian religion not the resurrection of Jesus.
Thanks! And, thanks for the comment on my channel page. I wouldn't have thought that anyone else would have similar views. :) It's good to know I'm not going crazy or anything. lol. :P
I just read up on different philosophies and religions and read about cosmology and go with what seems to fit together. :)
@HaleyMary LOL I was thinking exactly the same thing, Im not nuts yes!! haha like why should i be forced to follow one set of rules and values when there is so much anazing spiritual texts out there. Jesus and Budda r my favs but they all rock, and they r all sooo similiar its amazing how people can be so close minded. all i know about this workd is that i know nothing aboiut this world and Ill keep reading and learning abotu it to the day i die.
I really do love your so open minded thinking. I am very open thinking. I have studied Re-incarnation myself . There really so much mystery in the universe that I do think our small minds can comprehend it. Glad to see ya back..... Peace my friend
Thanks, Blaze. I figure why eliminate everything when it comes to spirituality? Anything is possible. Sometimes I even find that the more I read about reincarnation, quantum physics, the cosmos, philosophy, the less I understand it. There is so much information out there and our minds can only take in so much.
Spirituality, as opposed to religion, like you say, is more holistic Oneness oriented, and pursuing purification of perception and so forth. oh yeah.. and the soul as an energetic imprint configuration comprised of self-identifications and energetic vortices that dissolve through surrender of the ego.. hmm.. maybe? lol. This video got my noggen trickling, so thanks!
I've always felt karma to be more of a determinant of where our consciousness resides rather than a 'cause-effect' sort of thing. More like, we attract life situations that are a reflection of our internal states. I like how you've explored the whole plethora of spirituality to cosmology to quantum physics to culture and so forth, which eventually leads one to explore consciousness and the collapse of the wave into the particle-laden manifestation of perception.
That's interesting to think about. I can see internal states being a factor in good things or bad things happening to people. Like, if you are positive about life, you are putting out that positive energy and attract positive things to your life.
Yeah, consciousness is a very intriguing topic. I've covered philosophical thoughts on that in some of my earlier poems on my channel. Such as "Memories". Could stardust have a memory? it's at least interesting to think about. :)
One life? What if you are now living in an infinite number of lives/dimensions, with every second being both eternal and new--the contradiction being only in our limited perception....?
.....where the experience of 'a life' is just a segmentation/filtration of the greater whole?
Thanks, Debs! Hadn't thought of the way that word goes, supernatural, but for sure nature is super! Thanks for checking out this video! I know I haven't posted in quite awhile, but it's nice to see that people still check out the older vids! :)
I have found what comes around goes around and its best to see spirituality in everything. Look for the beauty and as for oneness if we can have time dilation when objects accelerate towards the speed of light why not within the mind of the observer? The fabric of spacetime must be the same everywhere even in the mind of the observer.
I could have honestly gone on for longer about what spirituality means. It's unfortunate I only had ten minutes. :P
I would think that space time would also be in the mind of the observer. Especially if considering what Einstein teaches; the theory of relativity. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. :)
And, I saw your comment on my channel, too. I would think the crystals would be curved because space time is curved. That's just my amateur guess, though. I passed that question along to a physicist friend of mine so I hope to find out the answer in the next day or two. :)
wow..some very good thoughts. I would like to think of the star dust as having feeling and thoughts,or maybe our future feelings and thoughts. The only word I would have changed is respect. Through our growth we learn to express love for the earth, for one another, for our own expression here in this life. Karma is the wheel of balance through expression. All with the same goal. To answer the very questions you ask yourself. We are human beings. A verb, an action, an epression of energy. IPALK
Thanks. I hadn't thought about that before, stardust having feelings, that's a pretty cool thought, though I guess I would count it as a possibility as I think that stardust could have memories. So, if they could have one aspect why not the other, right? :)
I think that respect for the Earth and everyone on it is an important part of spirituality as well.
Karma is a pretty cool thing. I used to not be sure whether I believed in it or not, but after observing some things in life, I am kind of leaning towards there being something to karma. I think that what goes around comes around and that people reap what they sow.
you mentioned respect. you spoke highly of it in terms of living within a spitural path. aka good karma. And respect is a good energy, just not a great energy. It shows a sense of value in something which is a good thing. Within the theme here I was saying that love is the great energy. And Karma is a gift. we play many parts within it and live many physical lives to balances ourselves and to help others find balance as well. our gift to one another. love your post
That's good. For a minute there I was afraid I had forgotten to mention it. :)
yeah, I think love is a great energy, but I think that respect should go along with that energy of love. that one can not exist without the other. karma is great as well.
Sometimes I find that even though I think that good karma is good to have around it's important to have some bad karma around the world as well so that people can learn things. It's like sometimes we may not appreciate the good things until they are absent from our lives, if that makes sense. :P
Loved the pink flower in you hair and I would say you summed up spirituality for me as well as I believe there is more then just this, but can't really put a finger on what too call it!:) I do live by karma!:) Wonder what 2012 will bring!?!:) I hope you and I are still around darling that's all I know or at leat we all go down together!?!:)
Thanks TAMMpON! There are still some days when I'm not sure what to call spirituality, to me it's almost a term synonymous with God, but not always in a religious sense. Hopefully the world and everyone on it will be able to be around in 2012 to celebrate the new year!
wow there is someone in the world that thinks like I do cool . I have said things like this too people and they thought I was weird. . You have my subscription ....................... thanks
Thanks for watching! It's nice to know there are people out there that think alike! I honestly used to be afraid to voice my opinion on spirituality and for the longest time I just wrote a lot of philosophy on another site, I guess this channel I have was like a test to see how well ideas like these would be received. :)
First and foremost, you're a very intelligent young lady, but you know that;)
Okay, I believe in various elements that you'll find in a number of religions. That is one of the main reasons, I respect everyones beliefs..There is no ONE better religion over another.. The Bible over the Qur'an..No way, I think there is soo much information you can learn from others that will enlighten you, and in the end, make you a better person!!
I think respect for other religions and spiritual belief systems is important. Even if I may not entirely agree with everything another person says, I think they should have the right to believe whatever they want. :) I also like learning about different belief systems as well though because I think it helps to make me more open minded about spirituality and curious to learn about the world and life and existence itself.
every dam time the bbc puts up a decent program on horizon,no one in the you tube world up loads it mary(was titled how long is a piece of string?327millmeteres? that guy alan davies was in it ?also another video i cant ever find was one no one uploaded while studying prime numbers sorry matt)so haley as i seen you viewing a nick harvey video 52 minutes before me:) fingers up you believe me:) peace luv you:)
It's difficult for me to imagine why the three-dimensional arrangement of rock and gas in space should have anything to do with right or wrong or with the meaning and purpose of our lives.
As in the century following Galileo or Dawkins, our sensibilities will adjust to the biological facts.
And who says the doctrine of the soul is more humane than the understanding of the mind as a physical organ?
For me spirituality means more than just what is right or wrong and the purpose of life. It's the mysteriousness and wonder of the universe. :)
The brain is more likely to bring consciousness to people while alive, but then there are also double slit experiments. What if light itself is conscious? Isn't it good to be open minded and explore all possibilities? :)
When you say it like that the fallacy is almost self-evident: I hardly need spell out the reductio ad absurdum. Spiriturality is just like Bertrand Russell's china teapot in elliptical orbit around the Sun.
We can't disprove it. But that doesn't mean the theory that there is a teapot is on level terms with the theory that there isn't. If it be retorted that there acturally are reasons X, Y and Z for finding spiriturality more plausible than a celestial teapot, X, Y and Z should be spelled out.
Thanks. :) I think I could have gone on for awhile longer, but I could only fit so much into ten minutes worth of video time. I think it's great when some ideas provoke thought in other people. I don't remember if I mentioned it in the video, but I think when it comes to spirituality, that everyone can learn from each other. :)
Hi Ryan. :) yeah, I used to not believe in karma or the belief that what goes around comes around much either. I tend to see it more in life as I get older as well, so I believe in it more than in the past. It mostly seems to happen very subtly, though.
They're my views on the religion and spirituality stuff, anyway. I like different religions, mostly Judaism, Buddhism, Bahai, and the more ancient religions like the ancient Egyptians and the Mayans, but I think that people can be very spiritual without practicing any religion as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. :)
Stephen William Hawking claims that no matter what goes in the Black hole it will cease to exist, others are respectfully saying he is wrong, but that did include light and energy, but he is the first to say this is unproven because a black hole has never been directly observed so, but the ocean has less than 2% of 1% of it explored , i worked in it as a commercial diver for 14 years for 6 hrs a day and it is beyond words how much every dive is a difference environment - a solid video 5/5
That's interesting about black holes and Stephen Hawking. I wonder if he has changed his views over the years 'cause I thought at one point he believed that matter was neither created nor destroyed. It would be exciting if a black hole were ever observed some day and people could find out more about them. That sounds really cool that you used to dive into the ocean. I imagine you must have seen a lot of interesting creatures under the ocean. :)
that was from a video posted a week ago on floratv site , the debunking is still rampant lol , but the concurrences was no one knows until they can observe one , they claim its not going to happen because the black hole is beyond our horizon forever so to speak , the ocean is so diverse that life is everywhere ,during the few months of breeding season the ocean is a soup of life ,vision is almost zero ft, even when in a hotel room closing your eyes results in the same pic as diving in the soup .
cool. I'm fairly certain elements of the body (building blocks, so to speak) were spread via the supernova phenomenon you mentioned
much resonated
"nothing lasts, yet nothing is lost"
"energies neither created nor destroyed, only transformed"
the only constant is change
sometimes I feel like I'd like things to stop changing, yet there's much light to be shined on things still unknown or in the dark.. and that keeps life and experience novel and storied, I suppose
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :) yeah, sometimes I think it would be nice if things didn't change much in life, either. Yet, if nothing changed, life wouldn't have evolved to be what it is today. Makes life seem more interesting and unpredictable in some ways.
I have also thought what u thought about if consciousness ceases completely upon passing on, then it seems wasteful. Each moments precious, enchanted and something to be respected and cherished, especially when realizing its transience
Spirituality is to me a connection, it's something I feel between myself and other things and people. I have felt something inexplicable while looking out at the sea at night, the crashing waves-feels like infinity is before me and something washes over me. I've felt it when with people, when words become meaningless and something is still flowing.
I've studied a lot about religion, and that included some study of mystics etc. I think that spirituality is universal, some more tuned in than others. I see myself as a very spiritual person but not a very religious person. I think religion is an attempt by humanity to define spirituality-which I believe impossible.
This 'stardust' alien stuff in relation to spirituality seems like yet another human attempt to define something that doesn't belong in the realm of definition!
yeah, I think I know what you mean. There are some people and places I feel a connection to in life. There's something about the Cypress Hills campground that feels almost like a heaven sometimes. That's pretty cool that you feel a spiritual connection to the ocean. A lot of things in nature can have meaning. :)
To me I would say spirituality is linked to the strength of the human heart. Its what drives us to persevere even against unlikely odds.
The energy ideas are cool as well. I remeber hearing the theory that because the brain is electro chemical in nature and that since energy can be neither created nor destroyed, that perhaps after death consciousness continues on, perhaps is even recycled(reincarnation).
I think spirituality can play a big part in giving people strength to live. If people have a strong will to live, I think they can overcome almost anything. Yeah, the theory that energy is neither created or destroyed is intriguing. Consciousness is an interesting thing as well. Not only is it recycled, but in what form does consciousness live on, stardust memories, etc. Thanks for your comment. :)
Funny, in one of our discussions, I brought up the idea that what we believe to be aliens may actually be from Earth, and here I hear you bringing that up. I suppose I should feel flattered.
I agree. I think it's important to appreciate what people have in life. As long as people have their friends, family and health I think they're okay in life. :)
Good point on the aliens and sea creatures. I never thought about that before. I think whatever energy we put out, we most likely will get back, and vice versa. Maybe karma is like a relationship of energies. I think each of our energies are a part of something bigger than what we can see. It makes me wonder what that is and how we're all connected. Interesting topic.
It was kind of a shared idea. One of my friends mentioned something about aliens being from Earth and the idea kind of expanded from there. :P
I would have added in some things about the loch ness monster being some sort of diplodocus dinosaur, but I wasn't sure if I would have enough time in the video.
That would be interesting if karma is like energies working together. I wonder if that could also tie into an idea of unity in the world.
Thanks for the comment and sharing your thoughts. :)
yeah, I think people's energy has a lot to do with spirituality as well. I think it can be a variety of factors. Sometimes I think that energy can tie in with the whole karma kind of thing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)
I always love your commentaries and ideas because there are does not seem to be that many people on here considering all possibilities. I like to tell people I'm a non-theist, meaning I do not believe in worshipping higher powers. I certainly have a curiosity about what existence, time and space, and all that was, is, and will be means. I do think our existence in the here and now is very important that each of us is significant in some way. Five as always.
Thanks, Rick. :) Yeah, I think it's good to keep an open mind about things. I used to either believe or not believe stuff but over time, I started to become more interested in what is real rather than what is believed. But, I still wanted to keep an open mind on spiritual beliefs, I guess I preferred looking at things from an objective viewpoint rather than a subjective one.
I actually thought some similar stuff yesterday where I started believing that everything is a virtual reality and nothing more than energy. It seemed to open up the possibilities that there was more to reality than what we know. There seems to be infinite fields for stuff like aliens, gods, time travelers, black holes exploding out of sand, infinitity in all directions down upthe black science impossible to grasp. Or maybe I am just paranoid of all of those spy planes flying around :)
Paranoia or not, it's interesting to think about. Life can feel like a matrix sometimes. I even wonder wouldn't it be wacky if everything was true? What if the universe, world consisted of aliens, black holes, time warps, rebirth, karma, other phenomena, as well as gods that people can't even begin to imagine? Anyway, it can be fun to think of the what ifs. :)
Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. :)
That's a great view on spirituality as well. :) I actually hadn't thought of mentioning it in this video, but had I had more time I would have mentioned the holistic self and the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual aspects. Guess it just goes to show how everything can tie in together. That's what I like about spirituality, the possibilities seem endless. :)
That's interesting you mention that aliens could be from our oceans. You've seen the movie The Abyss, right?
Oh and wonderful thoughts about supernova/cosmos. It's true that spirituality is both a search and communion with the cosmos :) At least in my experiences too... Trying to make sense of ourselves, with brief and wonderful interludes of deep oneness.
I hope we do learn more about consciousness/spirituality in a science -and- spiritual communion.
I actually haven't seen The Abyss yet. I'll have to check it out sometime. :)
Glad you enjoyed the thoughts on the cosmos. I think if people don't search in life or curious about how life got here and where it's going, it wouldn't seem like much of a spiritual journey.
Yeah, it would be really cool to learn more about consciousness and spirituality together. it will be interesting to see what science will discover in the years to come.
Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. :)
I dont know much about karma but how you described it, i do think its partly true. You describe your idea of spirituality as something outside an afterlife? you mean 'at one with oneself' rather than the big question of where do we go when we die? enjoyed this, interesting.
I don't know a whole lot about karma myself, other than for every action people take in life that there is an equal reaction. I'm not sure if I would call spirituality as something outside of an afterlife. Sometimes the more I read about physics the more I think that there could be some elements of spirituality where life on Earth and an afterlife are one and the same.
I meant at one with the universe and everything around. Like, the big bang theory, if everything started off as an finite point, then everything in the world and the universe on some level is in unity with each other.
you propose a number of interesting ideas. i'm an agnostic myself... if i were forced to show my hand, i'm a theistic agnostic. i'm hopeful that there is "something" to our existence. great video!
Some interesting thoughts in the video. I'm a sceptic on things like an afterlife and the soul but that doesn't mean I don't want these things to be true! Does that make sense!
It does make sense. I think even if people can't bring themselves to believe in something right away, I don't think it means that they want to deny the existence of it or even hope that there is something more than this life we are all living right now. I figure, if people, the energy within them, can live once, why can't they live again?
In this age of Earths wireless technology, it seems odd to*me that humans would consider any space as empty and/or lacking the ability to transmit vibrational information throughout the fabric of the cosmos, thus connecting the oneness of its reality unto the truth of its being, unlimited possibilities, following infinite, eternal expression.
One*Truth, exists in all reality, its divinity or lack thereof has no bearing upon its creation, thus the division of this truth is hypocrisy.
Exactly. There is even this dark matter and scientists aren't sure what it is. So, outer space is anything but empty. It's kind of ironic that the atoms that make up the human body are mostly empty space, and yet some people may think that the universe is mostly empty. Thinking about this spirituality/quantum worldly stuff kind of forces people to open up their minds a bit. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. Peace. :)
Yeah, I've never really connected religion and spirituality as being the same thing. Ever since coming of age where I could think for myself, I've only thought of them as two separate things that have an ongoing (and often tumultuous) relationship.
Ps. Sorry, Mary, I dodn't mean to attach this as a reply to Alovelytime's comment. I hit "reply" to read what got them thumbed down but meant to type my comment in a separate box.
Thanks, Curt. :) Sorry for the late reply. With my midterms I found it hard to keep up with youtube comments. :P
That's interesting that you've separated religion and spirituality as well. yeah, I find that once people think for themselves and don't readily accept everything that is given to them, that they may look at things like religion and spirituality in a different light. No pun intended. :P
You are such a deep thinker

I am sick of preachy religous people .....Not saying you are one .
I think everyon should be understood and wanting to have their OWN colplte point of vieww on where they came from if anywhere.... There are no logical answers anyomne can come up with .....but most religons are filled with stuff CLEARLY conceived from the human mind and not based on any actual truth.

@CalgarSkull

Peace my friend
bla2706 1 year ago
Thanks, Blaze. I figure why eliminate everything when it comes to spirituality? Anything is possible. Sometimes I even find that the more I read about reincarnation, quantum physics, the cosmos, philosophy, the less I understand it. There is so much information out there and our minds can only take in so much.
Peace and light to you, my friend! :)

SelfMinusI 1 year ago
I've always felt karma to be more of a determinant of where our consciousness resides rather than a 'cause-effect' sort of thing. More like, we attract life situations that are a reflection of our internal states. I like how you've explored the whole plethora of spirituality to cosmology to quantum physics to culture and so forth, which eventually leads one to explore consciousness and the collapse of the wave into the particle-laden manifestation of perception.
SelfMinusI 1 year ago
That's interesting to think about. I can see internal states being a factor in good things or bad things happening to people. Like, if you are positive about life, you are putting out that positive energy and attract positive things to your life.
Yeah, consciousness is a very intriguing topic. I've covered philosophical thoughts on that in some of my earlier poems on my channel. Such as "Memories". Could stardust have a memory? it's at least interesting to think about. :)

Nice Vid!!
I have found what comes around goes around and its best to see spirituality in everything. Look for the beauty and as for oneness if we can have time dilation when objects accelerate towards the speed of light why not within the mind of the observer? The fabric of spacetime must be the same everywhere even in the mind of the observer.
nickharvey7 2 years ago 3
Thanks!
I could have honestly gone on for longer about what spirituality means. It's unfortunate I only had ten minutes. :P
I would think that space time would also be in the mind of the observer. Especially if considering what Einstein teaches; the theory of relativity. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
And, I saw your comment on my channel, too. I would think the crystals would be curved because space time is curved. That's just my amateur guess, though. I passed that question along to a physicist friend of mine so I hope to find out the answer in the next day or two. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
wow..some very good thoughts. IPALK
brouse1988 2 years ago
Thanks. I hadn't thought about that before, stardust having feelings, that's a pretty cool thought, though I guess I would count it as a possibility as I think that stardust could have memories. So, if they could have one aspect why not the other, right? :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
Did I forget to mention respect in this video? :O
Peace and light! :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
@HaleyMary
you mentioned respect. you spoke highly of it in terms of living within a spitural path. aka good karma.
IPALK
brouse1988 2 years ago
That's good. For a minute there I was afraid I had forgotten to mention it. :)
yeah, I think love is a great energy, but I think that respect should go along with that energy of love. that one can not exist without the other. karma is great as well.
HaleyMary 2 years ago
Sometimes I find that even though I think that good karma is good to have around it's important to have some bad karma around the world as well so that people can learn things. It's like sometimes we may not appreciate the good things until they are absent from our lives, if that makes sense. :P
HaleyMary 2 years ago
makes sense. with absence comes desire. and this is a test of ones self. the energy we create to fullfil our desire is what will determine our karma.
and no direspect to respect...(lol)...you can't love something and feel anything other than respect for it.

RenaiSpirits 2 years ago
For me spirituality means more than just what is right or wrong and the purpose of life. It's the mysteriousness and wonder of the universe. :)
The brain is more likely to bring consciousness to people while alive, but then there are also double slit experiments. What if light itself is conscious? Isn't it good to be open minded and explore all possibilities? :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
When you say it like that the fallacy is almost self-evident: I hardly need spell out the reductio ad absurdum. Spiriturality is just like Bertrand Russell's china teapot in elliptical orbit around the Sun.
We can't disprove it. But that doesn't mean the theory that there is a teapot is on level terms with the theory that there isn't. If it be retorted that there acturally are reasons X, Y and Z for finding spiriturality more plausible than a celestial teapot, X, Y and Z should be spelled out.

Hi HaleyMary :) I tend to sometimes believe in "what goes around comes around," and sometimes I don't. But the older I get the more I believe it.
Yeah I guess religion is separate from spirituality - there are many types of religion but people can practice spirituality without using religion.

Hi Ryan. :) yeah, I used to not believe in karma or the belief that what goes around comes around much either. I tend to see it more in life as I get older as well, so I believe in it more than in the past. It mostly seems to happen very subtly, though.
HaleyMary 2 years ago
They're my views on the religion and spirituality stuff, anyway.
BeautifulGirlByDana 2 years ago
That's interesting about black holes and Stephen Hawking. I wonder if he has changed his views over the years 'cause I thought at one point he believed that matter was neither created nor destroyed. It would be exciting if a black hole were ever observed some day and people could find out more about them. That sounds really cool that you used to dive into the ocean. I imagine you must have seen a lot of interesting creatures under the ocean. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
that was from a video posted a week ago on floratv site , the debunking is still rampant lol , but the concurrences was no one knows until they can observe one , they claim its not going to happen because the black hole is beyond our horizon forever so to speak , the ocean is so diverse that life is everywhere ,during the few months of breeding season the ocean is a soup of life ,vision is almost zero ft, even when in a hotel room closing your eyes results in the same pic as diving in the soup .

HaleyMary 2 years ago
cool. I'm fairly certain elements of the body (building blocks, so to speak) were spread via the supernova phenomenon you mentioned
much resonated
"nothing lasts, yet nothing is lost"
"energies neither created nor destroyed, only transformed"
the only constant is change
sometimes I feel like I'd like things to stop changing, yet there's much light to be shined on things still unknown or in the dark.. and that keeps life and experience novel and storied, I suppose
Peace
JNdigital 2 years ago 3
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :) yeah, sometimes I think it would be nice if things didn't change much in life, either. Yet, if nothing changed, life wouldn't have evolved to be what it is today. Makes life seem more interesting and unpredictable in some ways.
Peace.
HaleyMary 2 years ago
true indeed..
I have also thought what u thought about if consciousness ceases completely upon passing on, then it seems wasteful. Each moments precious, enchanted and something to be respected and cherished, especially when realizing its transience
JNdigital 2 years ago 2
Spirituality is to me a connection, it's something I feel between myself and other things and people. I have felt something inexplicable while looking out at the sea at night, the crashing waves-feels like infinity is before me and something washes over me. I've felt it when with people, when words become meaningless and something is still flowing.
samsarajade 2 years ago 3
I've studied a lot about religion, and that included some study of mystics etc. I think that spirituality is universal, some more tuned in than others. I see myself as a very spiritual person but not a very religious person. I think religion is an attempt by humanity to define spirituality-which I believe impossible.
This 'stardust' alien stuff in relation to spirituality seems like yet another human attempt to define something that doesn't belong in the realm of definition!
samsarajade 2 years ago 3
yeah, I think I know what you mean. There are some people and places I feel a connection to in life. There's something about the Cypress Hills campground that feels almost like a heaven sometimes. That's pretty cool that you feel a spiritual connection to the ocean. A lot of things in nature can have meaning. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
I like your ideas
To me I would say spirituality is linked to the strength of the human heart. Its what drives us to persevere even against unlikely odds.
The energy ideas are cool as well. I remeber hearing the theory that because the brain is electro chemical in nature and that since energy can be neither created nor destroyed, that perhaps after death consciousness continues on, perhaps is even recycled(reincarnation).
Nice vid, thanks for sharing. :)
MasterBlueTiger 2 years ago 3
I think spirituality can play a big part in giving people strength to live. If people have a strong will to live, I think they can overcome almost anything. Yeah, the theory that energy is neither created or destroyed is intriguing. Consciousness is an interesting thing as well. Not only is it recycled, but in what form does consciousness live on, stardust memories, etc. Thanks for your comment. :)

Spirituality to me is feeling content with what you've got. The only faith worth having is in yourself, and your friends and family.
neil1337 2 years ago 3
I agree. I think it's important to appreciate what people have in life. As long as people have their friends, family and health I think they're okay in life. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
Good point on the aliens and sea creatures. I never thought about that before. I think whatever energy we put out, we most likely will get back, and vice versa. Maybe karma is like a relationship of energies. I think each of our energies are a part of something bigger than what we can see. It makes me wonder what that is and how we're all connected. Interesting topic.
Chriskct 2 years ago 3
It was kind of a shared idea. One of my friends mentioned something about aliens being from Earth and the idea kind of expanded from there. :P
I would have added in some things about the loch ness monster being some sort of diplodocus dinosaur, but I wasn't sure if I would have enough time in the video.
That would be interesting if karma is like energies working together. I wonder if that could also tie into an idea of unity in the world.
Thanks for the comment and sharing your thoughts. :)

i dont believe in God,not raised with one.
for me spirituality that is in every person.
thinkin,feeling,love,making love,emotions,touching,
breathing,alive,death,give births etc!.
put all those together, and you have spirituality=amazing your ALIVE
spirituality, its YOUR own energy, what you do in life.
way i see it.
you choose that path in life, your energy probably drag you into THAT,might be wrong or right;)
IceysMoment 2 years ago 3
yeah, I think people's energy has a lot to do with spirituality as well.

Rikotistic 2 years ago 3
Thanks, Rick. :) Yeah, I think it's good to keep an open mind about things. I used to either believe or not believe stuff but over time, I started to become more interested in what is real rather than what is believed. But, I still wanted to keep an open mind on spiritual beliefs, I guess I preferred looking at things from an objective viewpoint rather than a subjective one.
HaleyMary 2 years ago
and, yeah, for sure, existence is very important. I think everyone is able to play some part in the world. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)
HaleyMary 2 years ago
I actually thought some similar stuff yesterday where I started believing that everything is a virtual reality and nothing more than energy. It seemed to open up the possibilities that there was more to reality than what we know. There seems to be infinite fields for stuff like aliens, gods, time travelers, black holes exploding out of sand, infinitity in all directions down upthe black science impossible to grasp. Or maybe I am just paranoid of all of those spy planes flying around :)
josephgelb 2 years ago 3
Paranoia or not, it's interesting to think about. Life can feel like a matrix sometimes. I even wonder wouldn't it be wacky if everything was true? What if the universe, world consisted of aliens, black holes, time warps, rebirth, karma, other phenomena, as well as gods that people can't even begin to imagine? Anyway, it can be fun to think of the what ifs. :)

HaleyMary 2 years ago
That's interesting you mention that aliens could be from our oceans. You've seen the movie The Abyss, right?
Oh and wonderful thoughts about supernova/cosmos. It's true that spirituality is both a search and communion with the cosmos :) At least in my experiences too... Trying to make sense of ourselves, with brief and wonderful interludes of deep oneness.
I hope we do learn more about consciousness/spirituality in a science -and- spiritual communion.
thepathlesspath 2 years ago 3

Glad you enjoyed the thoughts on the cosmos. I think if people don't search in life or curious about how life got here and where it's going, it wouldn't seem like much of a spiritual journey.
Yeah, it would be really cool to learn more about consciousness and spirituality together. it will be interesting to see what science will discover in the years to come.

I dont know much about karma but how you described it, i do think its partly true. You describe your idea of spirituality as something outside an afterlife? you mean 'at one with oneself' rather than the big question of where do we go when we die? enjoyed this, interesting.
Nicatroubadour 2 years ago 3
I don't know a whole lot about karma myself, other than for every action people take in life that there is an equal reaction. I'm not sure if I would call spirituality as something outside of an afterlife. Sometimes the more I read about physics the more I think that there could be some elements of spirituality where life on Earth and an afterlife are one and the same.

I meant at one with the universe and everything around. Like, the big bang theory, if everything started off as an finite point, then everything in the world and the universe on some level is in unity with each other.

Some interesting thoughts in the video. I'm a sceptic on things like an afterlife and the soul but that doesn't mean I don't want these things to be true! Does that make sense!
mousegeek 2 years ago 3
Yes, it makes sense. Whenever I start feeling that way, I keep reminding myself of the line from "Welcome Home, Roxy Charmichael:"
"It's *good* to want things," (with the implication that the wanting doesn't change what is).
then I snicker a little bit, get over myself, and find something interesting to do. ^.^
stealthbadger 2 years ago
It does make sense. I think even if people can't bring themselves to believe in something right away, I don't think it means that they want to deny the existence of it or even hope that there is something more than this life we are all living right now. I figure, if people, the energy within them, can live once, why can't they live again?
HaleyMary 2 years ago
In this age of Earths wireless technology, it seems odd to*me that humans would consider any space as empty and/or lacking the ability to transmit vibrational information throughout the fabric of the cosmos, thus connecting the oneness of its reality unto the truth of its being, unlimited possibilities, following infinite, eternal expression.
One*Truth, exists in all reality, its divinity or lack thereof has no bearing upon its creation, thus the division of this truth is hypocrisy.
C.H.A.O.S.
PeaceProfit 2 years ago 3
Peace. :)
