Thank you so much for all that you are accomplishing toward increasing self-esteem in these beautiful young people. Their lives are truly blessed, as are all the lives of those who support them. I am inspired to continue to encourage young people to love themselves, appreciate their gifts and talents, and use those gifts to improve all life on our planet.
I teach music to high school kids in a nearly opposite situation (but dirt poor), but my kids have a lot of the same family (or lack of family) problems. They have wormed themselves into my heart. So I was deeply touched by the compassion/passion of the people in the Mama Foundation for the kids that they know. Music is healing. Well done, good and faithful servants.
I Just wached a show about these youths and my heart was broken to see how many of them have been traumatized by several circumstances surrounding their lives... My prayer is that God protect you and help you succeed in this greatest talent you have... YES, you guys are amazing singers with thousands of potential!
One word Amazing. What's so funny after hearing the second soloist I said "Amazing" and little did I know they began to sing Amazing Grace. I see the man up stairs was agreeing with me lol.
there is no argument there is a difference between the very first choir and the ones that came after. i am a part of the first choir and i will always be. NOTHING can compare to that very first rehearsal when not even Mama Vy and ms Cissy Houston new how powerful and life changing this program would be...without our enthusiasm and successes the choirs after wouldn't have been.
LAZYBABY15. . .If ur in the choir now then u kno u wrong & if u not in now then u would neva kno & u r stil wrong & if u were neva in the choir u jus shud not even sey nothing i am very offended b.c i think we sound way better than the previous choirs. . .& we sing at more and better places now with the best of gospel singers just kno that ur statement was an opinion
These guys are awesome...Cissy Houston got them together - The harmony, the movement is just great, I wonder do they travel I would love to have them at my church.
Their young gifted and it shows that they enjoy what they are doing....The young man in the beginning sounds like a young preacher in the making - Awesome ! ! !
Wow, I have not seen this in forever. I miss these days so much! So proud to have been a part of the original choir.
