The "stream of unrelated cutaways" concept can easily be made mediocre, and I commend the effort at staying one step ahead of the expectations of viewers who have seen this gag before. Moreover, highly skilled editing prowess on display here. Beast-man's meek, awkward head shake in the final scene looked a tough thing to pull off, but it was pitch perfect in practice.
