In my experience, marijuana is actually a substitute to harder drugs like alcohol. Like with my mom for example " I just decided to get stoned one day because I couldn't get drunk and figured , hey I like getting stoned better than I like getting drunk".

Weed is not addictive, chemically there is nothing in it that can get you hooked, unless your thinking about the effects of smoking it, which is the whole point of drugs really. You fall in love with the high not the substance itself, so there for it is just down to your own will power, quitting weed was piss easy, quitting drink was awful, I had the shakes was sweating a lot, I couldn't sleep. Weed is not addictive, chemically there is nothing in it that can get you hooked, unless your thinking about the effects of smoking it, which is the whole point of drugs really. You fall in love with the high not the substance itself, so there for it is just down to your own will power, quitting weed was piss easy, quitting drink was awful, I had the shakes was sweating a lot, I couldn't sleep. Quitting weed, nothing, absolutely nothing except I stopped liking cheese as much.

I smoked weed when I was 11,it never led me to anything accept other than weed.
later in life when I was 22 I had my first whole beer.
I ended up having another beer and liked the buzz.
so I went to a party and had four shots of Jägermeister and more beer from the keg.
after a bunch of parties and getting drunk and puking on myself (and there is a picture of me passed out with puke all on me) I started doing cocaine on the weekends.

Actually I started with adrenaline first as a kid. But then the government shunned my activities to try and get really high off of adrenaline I decided to use weed. If anything its your natural chemicals the are the gateway drugs, they were there first so that means they obviously cause what happened later. SAY NO TO ENDORPHINS!!!!! they'll cause you to use crack.

Its common sense that marijuana could be a gateway drug, most people have a natural fear of hard drugs,so if they try weed as a so called soft drug,they then think " well drugs are not that bad really " also smoking weed will lower your natural fear of drugs as you are more relaxed in general and maybe more likely to say yes to harder drugs,obviously not everyone but no one can say it would never happen,it sounds VERY likely to me.

If you lack energy, seems logical to drink a coffe, why not take a speed instead ? THAT'S BULLSHIT. Cafeine does not play with your mind like weed does. only a few days ago i saw a documentry on tv about a heroin addict filming himself and he admitted he started on weed and it led to heroin. if your a stable person mentally,well its unlikely to lead to other drugs,but if your a highly strung or depressive type(which millions of people are)then it is VERY likely weed will lead u to try other drugs as it can trigger a mental illness off which will send u on a downward spiral.

Cafeine doesn't play with your mind, but it can kill you, thousand of people each year die because of an overdose of cafeine(too much cafeine lead prolly to a heart attack) Yes weed can be the begining for mental hilness like schizophrenia, so does prolly countless prescription meds, or probably any really high stress moment. What the guy didn't tell is he would have done heroin even if he didn't start with weed, he would have started with any mind altering substance...

It actually all leads to peer pressure, especially with "hard drug" users. There is always some influence/misinformation from a 3rd party source that led to "hard drug" use. Saying its gateway is not taking responsibility for the wrongs/pressures that were perpetrated by the anti-authoritarian personalities who share the same behavior as the Authoritarian Personality we call our government. It's only people and the pressure they put on others.

of course peer pressure plays a part on going onto hard drugs,but if you smoke weed your halfway there,as u think well weed isn't that bad,so maybe heroin or whatever will be ok too. once you've taken 1 drug(weed )its much easier to go onto another,plus weed would tend to lower your natural fears of hard drugs through its chilling out effects.this to me is so much common sense and obvious that i think youd be a fool to not think it's not at least a possibility.
