Wow. I haven't seen this since I was a kid. From a literary standpoint this is a perfect parable for the last 100 or so years in America. Andy's supposed to be Paul Bunyan, Pee-wee's the future we (or well I guess my parents generation) were promised as kids and the bull (Merril Lynch -symbol for the stock market) has finally chased the myth of The American Dream/The Frontier from people's minds only to leave us in a stupor...no doubt I'm probably reading into this far too much...
