I'd bring a crowbar. A titanium one is very light but durable, has great range for melee AND you can easily open doors with it, which is VERY handy in a situation where you're constantly looking for food and shelter.
Firearms are not an option for me since I'm in France.

a shotgun can reach up to 40 yards with the right barrel setup, no slugs. a pistol is a great backup weapon, especially with that tenderizer. what model is that?

Alright my plan is to go to Mount Roramina in Venezuela a plateau in Venezuela that is so high it is above the clouds it has plants and animals for food and lots of sunlight using a helicopter id bring solar panels or windmill parts up for power then slowly rebuild a civilization with my crew looking mostly for survivors especially doctors and entertainers to keep everyone sane and go on weekly missions in groups to find food and fuel. With that id survive in peace for the rest of my life.

also i agree with the pistol but make it your secondary and you a shot gun (tape a flash light in the side of the SG and tape a knife near in the barrel then it well costom) I PREFER AA-12 (if your lucky to find one) its a shot gun with a magazine compatible) also tape you flash light near your belt so it keeps handy.

@MultiFreezerShock SKS semiautomatic carbine uses the most common ammo (same as the bolt action) same ruggedness as a ak-47 shoots only semi automatic uses clips and breaks as quick as a ak-47 less aim but maby a good idea ?
handguns are not by far the most effective weapons assault rifles are because ammunition is even easier to find than handgun ammunition because a lot of assault rifles use common hunting rifle calibres, and actually shotguns are very effective they kill very effectively and personally im not in britain so you can get whatever you need for shotguns and they actually do not need much time at all to reaload and if it is a pump they are very fast not to mention you can get semi ones

Just a pistol my ass, in the uk there is a gun ban, but he's right about some things, but not all, Shotgun would be helpful and is not heavy, ever heard of carry straps? tactical bdu clothing yes, extra guns duh, holsters, Alice packs, Melee-combat knife, and mechette full tang high carbon steel, attaches to your belt, Rifle, Shotgun pump action or semi auto, gloves, multi tool, Bandiliors of ammo worn on you, lights can be attached to weapons, laser sighting for those who never fired a gun!

Alright my plan is to go to Mount Roramina in Venezuela a plateau in Venezuela that is so high it is above the clouds it has plants and animals for food and lots of sunlight using a helicopter id bring solar panels or windmill parts up for power then slowly rebuild a civilization with my crew looking mostly for survivors especially doctors and entertainers to keep everyone sane and go on weekly missions in groups to find food and fuel. With that id survive in peace for the rest of my life.

*my dads truck tricked out with all these metal rods around it so nothing can get through

you can reload your rocket launcher when your out
it's not like in resident evil that its disposable
well except its a m72 launcher or you run out of rockets.
also i agree with the pistol but make it your secondary and you a shot gun (tape a flash light in the side of the SG and tape a knife near in the barrel then it well costom) I PREFER AA-12 (if your lucky to find one) its a shot gun with a magazine compatible) also tape you flash light near your belt so it keeps handy.

not all shot guns have to be fed one at a time what about the saigi 12 its a magazine fed shot gun i personally would take a saigi 12 as my primary gun over your 1911. pistols are for backup

I would go in groups of three armed with no shot guns unless they were styrkers auto clip shot guns my choices are the best for me a ninja clock and ak 47 including a couple extra toys daddy will want to bring along maby a couple of walter p 22s

The AK-47 sniper rifle. This thing is capable of doing lethal damage at 1,300 feet, with a 7.62×39mm cartridge and a muzzle velocity of around 710 metres per second. Fucking incredible.

i would go for a rugged semiautomatic rifle or carbine, since im a normal person i cannot aim well with a pistol, a rifle is the simples range weapon one can be taught to use thus i can engage whatever hostiles from a safer distance, it also works as a bludgeon or.... well something between me and whatever attacking?
besides for the most dangeroud enemy id come across other human i can outrange mr handgun any day and scavange/steal gear from his dead cold hands XD

@MultiFreezerShock SKS semiautomatic carbine uses the most common ammo (same as the bolt action) same ruggedness as a ak-47 shoots only semi automatic uses clips and breaks as quick as a ak-47 less aim but maby a good idea ?

handguns are not by far the most effective weapons assault rifles are because ammunition is even easier to find than handgun ammunition because a lot of assault rifles use common hunting rifle calibres, and actually shotguns are very effective they kill very effectively and personally im not in britain so you can get whatever you need for shotguns and they actually do not need much time at all to reaload and if it is a pump they are very fast not to mention you can get semi ones
