When Casey Junior is leaving the winter quarters, you can see the name of the circus on the side of the wall: WDP circus. WDP stands for Walt Disney Productions.

i find my self whistling this whole song sometimes, im 17 almost 18 and i used to watch this movie all the time when i was little, so many memories :')
This has to be one of the best movies ever, I loved this movie when I was a kid and if I watch it now I'll why probably cry throughout the whole movie!
Actually, no. The 1994 Masterpiece Collection VHS only has a short preview for The Brave Little Toaster, and then the Buena Vista logo which opens the film. I love all the Masterpiece Collection VHSes!
This movie was really a very potent reminder that circuses are not very nice, how the elephants had so much trouble performing impossible tricks, and the child teasing dumbo, etc etc. It is very clear that Walt loved animals.
Dumbo is such a great Disney classic! I have the 1994 Masterpiece Collection tape of Dumbo, watched it yesterday, and is still a fun, timeless film! I always think of a wide open country field whenever I hear this song!
0:56-1:07 Matriarch (the elephant in the wine red headdress) has such a huge butt as she struggles getting through the door and the workers try to push her in. I've always wondered why they put that scene in there. Maybe for humor purposes I suppose.
disney songs and cartoons will last forever, because they are uniqe even in our days and they will be uniqe even for the next and next and next generation
Where did the train full of animals go when it departed? I use to love this song when I watched the movie Dumbo. I saw the elephants and giraffes board the train before it took off but, where did the train head to when it departed?
@srf1969 Yeah, that's a mystery. When the passed the train depot at Roscoe, (it's probably Roscoe, GA) it may have gone up toward Kentucky or Tennessee, that's my guess.
There is a huge tale of Casey jr. You guys should research it

I misunderstood a lot of song lyrics as a kid. But at 26, I still think I hear the lyrics: "I'm a laminated crackerjack."
beardo373 4 months ago
@beardo373 Actually it's "Time for lemonade and cracker jack".

I notice that this video is slightly faster than the actual film, do you have any idea why that is?

I agree with you. That Matriarch may be old and pompous, but man, she's got such a gigantic ass that gives big boners to people who see that scene.
