Shame there aren't more mainstream rock acts taking elements of the classics like this. It's either wimpy Coldplay shit for housewives or angst-riddled dribble for 20 something males going through extended adolescence. This was just enjoyable music that a lot of people could rock the fuck out to.
It is sad such an amazing band didn't have a number one. I find that is the case with all the greats. This song is an all time number one no matter what the billboard says.
@JESSEAS123 - Actually, as good as Bad Company was, the band never had a #1 single. :-( The closest they got was with their initial hit "Can't Get Enough" which peaked at #5 in the Fall of 1974.
I wish I had my album collection back. Whenever there was a party I got called to do the tunes. Which was fine with me because my price was all the booze I could drink and all the drugs I could handle. I can say that between 1974 and 1983 there were few weekends I was straight. And I won't mention the ladies...I was a bad boy I was...
Not "1", and I did say, "1", bad comment. Of course, if there are bad comments to follow, it will be a shame to have someone ---- -- a perfect record. Don't be that person. The best rock vocalist in my humble opinion, in rock and roll history.
