hey karl, what technique are you using when you double kick blast at 0:16? I'm able to gain a shitload of speed but I can't find the control i need to double my speed when doing a standard left, right pattern on the double kick.

At 0:16 I'm just doing a single stroke burst. I've never really thought about it but I'm pretty sure that when I'm doing the slower pattern, most of the movement is coming from my legs, where as the burst is more ankle movement. I also relax a lot more in the slower pattern but tend to tense with the burst. Its hard to explain lol. My best advice is just make it a goal, practice it and you will eventually nail it!
