I like Malwarebytes because it's so light, and indeed the free version is nice enough. But what's more wonderful about it is when you have the PRO version, this anti-malware program automatically blocks malwares of all sorts real time..I notice an ID and a serial among the posts below, but if you happen to have tried that and it doesn't work to register your free version and make it PRO, then send me a message..thanks guys.

When I using full scan, it'd freezes in the middle of scanning .. WhYyYy!?!?! But when I fast scanned, it'd works fine. Can someone explain why this happening?? I'm also using Microsoft Security Essentials..

@dizvi3tboi2 You machine may be infected, with the bastard affecting the scan. Boot up in the "safe mode" open Malwarebytes, and do your scan this way...it always works for me. Especially when that S.O.B. really takes over and you can't do ANYTHING normally and must Hard-break off (using the on/off switch) to shut down.

I really like this program it found some adware in my searchbar and web fun products it remove them but when I open control panal unstall program it is still there and it wont unstall it the web bar doesnt come on and it is still in the start up menu I hade to disable I guess malwarebytes deleted what windows needs to install it. I try to use the file assan tool I dont know how to use it

You don't need to worry about the uninstall programs entry. Even if it shows up there mbam has already deleted it.

@bailout15 You need to physically remove that. First you go to start = run = and type msconfig..then go to startup tab and fly down the list and uncheck all the fishy entries. Once you got that done, go ahead and say restart. When you restart, you go to start menu= settings = control panel = programs = uninstall the toolbar (web bar). You can also download this tool called rkill. then you can scan again with malwarebytes and destroy... hth
