Every year it's the same thing. CoD looks amazing. You just can't wait to get it. When you do finally get it, you find out that it's no where near as good as they made it sound. It's similar to when you hear a really good song. You constantly think about how awesome it is, then when you hear it again, it's not up to your expectations because you made it better than it actually was.

To be honest I could never really decide on which I thought was better. Cause at times when I compared them both I saw some better highlights for a specific thing compared to BC2 and vice versa. I mean yes they're both huge franchises but the fact that CoD only got really famous after MW and Battlefield was always famous that proves something, plus the fact that BC2 is a bit more actual war oriented since MW2 isn't the full out experience, but all in all I can't choose still to this day

DICE with the Battlefield games, especially Bad Company have done FPS in their own unique way. With massive battles, vehicles and a variety of things to do on these huge maps, its A LOT of action and intensity.

@Specopleader BC2 also was advertised. To be honest, the trailers of BC2 I liked better than any of the CoD ones. But Battlefield is different - you have to think, plan your approaches, etc. A lot of people play games because they want to stop thinking too much, and experience some plain action. Bf takes more time and thinking. None of them is better or worse, it depends on how you like to play.

I don't really have anything against CoD (cause you might prefer the different playstyle) except that it's just horribly designed. The game is full of flaws as they release one every fucking year and instead of playing the game themselves like DICE does, they don't give a shit about the players, take out the good stuff, leave the bad stuff, and don't fix what's broken. That why I quit CoD and moved on to BC2.

pro's for MW2= rockets take time to fly unlike BC2 where they hit instantly, and the switching weapons in MW2 is more realistic, but other than that it would be nice if MW2 had bigger maps and could use tanks and stuff like BC2, i personally think it's 50/50

In MW2 on the other hand, it's almost instant. I bet you never played BC2

This was hardly a comparison, but both games are awesome in their own way. BFBC2 is very team based, and with huge maps you can breathe inbetween deaths. Whereas COD allows for a single player's skill to shine, but it can get chaotic at times. And don't get me started on Dedicated servers. I have both games, and honestly I play MW2 more, but nobody can deny that MW2 would have been better had it had dedicated servers.

What the thousands upon thousand of people that fight to prove which ones better FAIL TO GET is:
COD is more of a copy of CounterStrike and is better for smaller maps and just to relax, take a break from work etc.
DICE with the Battlefield games, especially Bad Company have done FPS in their own unique way. With massive battles, vehicles and a variety of things to do on these huge maps, its A LOT of action and intensity.

@Specopleader BC2 also was advertised. To be honest, the trailers of BC2 I liked better than any of the CoD ones. But Battlefield is different - you have to think, plan your approaches, etc. A lot of people play games because they want to stop thinking too much, and experience some plain action. Bf takes more time and thinking. None of them is better or worse, it depends on how you like to play.

I mean sure, Mw2 has many flaws, but at least I can have a good time while playing it. Campers, noob tubers and one many army really does get to me, and sometimes it gets ugly, but at the end of the day, I still had fun.

I actually prefer Call of Duty to BC2, and here's why.
1. Maps are simply to big for 16 people, and nowadays it seems like you only get like 8 people in a game.
2.Unless you manage to grab a helicopter, I find the game really boring to play.
3.Unless you have an extremely High-Def TV, your not going to be able to read anything.
4.No one talks....
5.After awhile, the explosions and the sudden deafness that happens to you gets extremely annoying.
Not saying it's a bad game though....

@MrBonzinator Bull-fucking-shit, rockets take 3-4 seconds to hit something thats 100-200 meters away + it has bullet drop, which all of this MW2 does not have, switching weapons in Battlefield is more real cuz it takes 1-2 seconds to switch from UMP-45 to rocket launcher since its so big. In MW2 on the other hand, it's almost instant. I bet you never played BC2

But if you or someone else are, go play BC as much as you want, cuz that's not the point of MW2, the point of MW2 is to maximize the gaming experience and make millions of gamers have fun playing MW2 ;) still I think BFBC2 is great, and I'm going to buy BFBC3

@SilentEagles Who needs nuke attack when its not used normally in real war? I dont care about that kind of useless eye candy when raw graphics of BFBC2 is better, and its more realistic. In MW2 there is no breaking buildings and other things, its just random shooter game like css, unlike BFBC2 which is war game.

This was hardly a comparison, but both games are awesome in their own way. BFBC2 is very team based, and with huge maps you can breathe inbetween deaths. Whereas COD allows for a single player's skill to shine, but it can get chaotic at times. And don't get me started on Dedicated servers. I have both games, and honestly I play MW2 more, but nobody can deny that MW2 would have been better had it had dedicated servers.
