i can't believe they called this the Chamorro cultural center.... it should really be called the guamanian cultural center.... since they didn't sing the CNMI anthem, they didn't display the CNMI flag, and chances are they have nothing from/pertaining to the CNMI at the center.... so i'm pretty sure that this place is wrongly named. Either call it the guamanian cultural center, or start including stuff from the CNMI.
Chamorros and Refaluwasch, CNMI or Guahan...This is urgent! You need to watch "CNMI Descent for Self-Government & Indigenous Rights". I uploaded the videos. Spread to friends and families!
chamorros dont where marmar if you know what i mean i see that guam ppl think its chamorro i come from saipan and i know that its carolinain that use marmar and we add it to our culture which i think is great but why call this a chamorro cultural center??? how about those carolinian who are her and they speak chamorro too like i do with carolinian= am chamorro its my first language and i speak carolinian because their from saipan too.... so wheres the island love??
ok i see that you are singing the american anthem isnt it suppose to be the chamorro anthem first then the american anthem if you know what i mean!!! you put up this video and the anthem is not even the right one i wonder what happen to the real one??? well am an island girl straight from the heart but i have never heard anything like this.. talk about islanders coming together here in the states but to where i dont see anything so island like the way you do it!
...true about the flag, but anywhere Chamorro's can share is good, yes? Probably more Chamorro's stateside than in the Marianas so it would seem to be important there too ...just a thought
i only saw a guam flag and an american flag. where's saipan's flag if it's a chamorro culture center. we're more chamorro than guam. we all can still speak chamorro even little kids.
