@Elfrunner I feel the same way. I love the original 3 Halo games, but I won't be buying Halo 4 because I feel like the whole Master Chief story is good enough. Same with Mass Effect. @longliveitachi I just did that, but it's a real fucking pain in the ass. If you dont have enough paragon or renegade points, you can "rally the crowd".
To do that, you would have had to return Veetor to tali in the beggining of the game (not to cerberus first) and you would have had to save kal*reegar on the mission where you recruited Tali.
This worked for me: Right after the first part of the trial against tali, talk to veetor, ask him to talk for tali, then talk to Vex or what her name is

When you've done this, you should be able to "Rally the crowd" instead of using paragon/renegade, or show/dont show evidence.
Tali wont be exiled and her fathers name wont be destroyed ^^
If you find a playthrough with someone who did this, you can just copy what they did. That's what i did

I heard that future games are going to be less constricting in character creation, and maybe even have an Origin system like in Dragon Age where you can select from a number of races for your character to be. The Mass Effect universe is still vast and many sequels and prequels will be made. "Shepard is only the first step"-The President of Bioware said.
Every Nintendo game ever made is milked to death. Halo, Gears, Call of Duty and pretty much every other shooter. Call of duty being the worst by far, spanning their ninth game this year even though they've been around less than a decade. Final Fantasy has gone spoiled now they've been milked so hard, Assassin's Creed has had 3 sequels, only one is numbered, and even Battlefield is getting it's cartons filled.
@sergio160 Honestly, I encourage more Mass Effect games, because there's still a lot of questions people want answered, and they want to fully explore a galaxy only partially delved by Shepard.
While those other games I listed can die and nobody would really care (Except maybe Halo), Mass Effect has a big enough story, and theology to follow up on with multiple Tie-ins and prequels. My only concern is I hope they don't adopt competitive multiplayer to try and sell their games.
Everyone of those games is slowly killing the franchise. Nintendo may milk their franchises but at least they do it right. Every Mario Stand-alone has gotten positive reviews or have introduced something new (ie Smash Bros, Mario Kart). As for Halo, CoD, FF, they've all lost their luster, AC will too unless they finish the damn story soon and quit dragging it. Also, Competetive MP will kill ME's story driven focus imo.
@sergio160 you do realize that the multiplayer is basically like Horde mode in Gears right? it really doesn't impact the story since your multiplayer is basically explained as the special forces fighting whilst Shepard is saving the galaxy. but i do agree with AC story, if their gonna make another pre-Desmond game they should give us a female ancestor to use; since not all his assassin ancestors are male right? that or just get to the assassins in modern times still using hidden blades
I wasn't talking about the MP that ME3 will have, I was talking about if ME in the future will have Competetive MP, like the guy I was replying to was hoping for. As for AC, I think the next game should be the biggets one yet, and the closing of the story. Knowing Ubisoft, they will probably drag it on as much as they can though.

I have a list of things wrong with Other M, Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and many other nintendo games that simultaneously have good reviews (From bias old farts), and tons of issues many have pointed out. I agree with the others losing their lust, and I nearly lost it when I heard 3 more Halo games. AC: Brotherhood was good, but Revelations pushed it too far.
Other M was alright, but Twilight Princess was pretty damn good, as well as Galaxy, Super Smash Bro's Brawl, Mario Kart, Super Mario World 3D. Nintendo knows how to handle a franchise I'd say. I'm no fanboy, but their characters are the face of gaming. I think AC brotherhood and AC revelations should've been a single game, Revelations was so short.
@sergio160 Good pint. I disagree on Other M. It was a disrespectful, bastardization to the franchise and Samus' character. Terrible story, sub-par gameplay, and an insulting narrative ruined the game and has made it the black sheep of Metroid. I also don't care much for Zelda, but I know many Zelda fans, and friends who really liked, but also had issues with TP. Also, this Mario Kart, and 3D remake crap is bullshit to begin with. It's lazy and people wave it off just cause "Nintendo!"
Zelda, TP is definitely the best in the series and alot of Zelda fans agree. Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D land is pretty fun, it is the only game on the 3DS that really makes use of the 3D. Mario Kart 7 also added a lot of things to the formula. It isn't lazy if you actually check out the game, lots of unique levels and good ways of utilizing 3D. Anyway, the whole point of this convo was to say that I think they should take their time with the ME franchise.

I'm not a major fan, but most do not agree, I know a lot of fans and attend a good amount of gaming conventions if I can, and if the Zelda conversation is ever brought up, the first two games mentioned as the best are always Ocarina, and Majora's Mask.
@sergio160 And I'm sorry, but it's lazy. 7 titles and 3D remakes aren't winning a lot of people over in today's market. Nintendo is suffering right now, and despite decent sales in gaming at best, they're still losing a vast amount of income at almost $1 billion per year now. I remember checking sales records and Nintendo is falling pretty deep, taking up less than 20% of current game sales, with Sony and Microsoft (Ironically the company with less titles) taking back 40% each.

If it's an MMORPG, I won't care. When I said "last game", I meant the last game in this current story arc. I know it won't spell the end of the Mass Effect franchise itself - there are already side games like Galaxy and the forthcoming Infiltrator; it's a cash cow like Halo. If they can make another sequel, or even a prequel, as good as these three have been and in the same style, then I'm on board. If they go the online route, then ME3 will be the last game for me.
You know what I say? Bioware ought to just go all-out with Mass Effect 3 and show everything. As it was, they were forced to tone the sex scenes down in Mass Effect 2 because of what they did in the first game. They should just give the censors the finger and show it all, like it's shown in God of War and other games.

@DarklingAA You can cheat on Liara and still remain friends. In the LoTSB DLC you can tell Liara it's because she was obsessed and manic over the Shadow Broker and she'll totally be cool with it. She'll still be loyal to you, and if you want, you can make amends in ME3 and take her back.

@warhawk9566 They kind of hinted at quarian faces behind the mask in ME1. ME2 added the opaque visor, but I think there's still an underlying model that can be partially revealed with clipping errors. Best I can tell, they're thinner then humans and kind of grey.

@sergio160 Good pint. I disagree on Other M. It was a disrespectful, bastardization to the franchise and Samus' character. Terrible story, sub-par gameplay, and an insulting narrative ruined the game and has made it the black sheep of Metroid. I also don't care much for Zelda, but I know many Zelda fans, and friends who really liked, but also had issues with TP. Also, this Mario Kart, and 3D remake crap is bullshit to begin with. It's lazy and people wave it off just cause "Nintendo!"

Zelda, TP is definitely the best in the series and alot of Zelda fans agree. Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D land is pretty fun, it is the only game on the 3DS that really makes use of the 3D. Mario Kart 7 also added a lot of things to the formula. It isn't lazy if you actually check out the game, lots of unique levels and good ways of utilizing 3D. Anyway, the whole point of this convo was to say that I think they should take their time with the ME franchise.

I'm not a major fan, but most do not agree, I know a lot of fans and attend a good amount of gaming conventions if I can, and if the Zelda conversation is ever brought up, the first two games mentioned as the best are always Ocarina, and Majora's Mask.

Nintendo is suffering right now, and despite decent sales in gaming at best, they're still losing a vast amount of income at almost $1 billion per year now. I remember checking sales records and Nintendo is falling pretty deep, taking up less than 20% of current game sales, with Sony and Microsoft (Ironically the company with less titles) taking back 40% each.

@sergio160 Now I'm not saying sales make their games good, but Nintendo is failing due to poorer marketing strategies in the U.S (They are still strong in Japan), stupid as fuck gimmicks (The Wii bowling ball? The Wii Snowboard? The "Wiings"?), and a lack of originality in game development. Now I'm not saying Sony and Microsoft are being the more original ones here with constant Halo, and Final Fantasy sequels, but I was sick of Mario's endless milking 10 years ago, much less now.

If it's an MMORPG, I won't care. When I said "last game", I meant the last game in this current story arc. I know it won't spell the end of the Mass Effect franchise itself - there are already side games like Galaxy and the forthcoming Infiltrator; it's a cash cow like Halo. If they can make another sequel, or even a prequel, as good as these three have been and in the same style, then I'm on board. If they go the online route, then ME3 will be the last game for me.

You know what I say? Bioware ought to just go all-out with Mass Effect 3 and show everything. As it was, they were forced to tone the sex scenes down in Mass Effect 2 because of what they did in the first game. @DarklingAA You can cheat on Liara and still remain friends. In the LoTSB DLC you can tell Liara it's because she was obsessed and manic over the Shadow Broker and she'll totally be cool with it. She'll still be loyal to you, and if you want, you can make amends in ME3 and take her back.

@warhawk9566 They kind of hinted at quarian faces behind the mask in ME1. ME2 added the opaque visor, but I think there's still an underlying model that can be partially revealed with clipping errors. Best I can tell, they're thinner then humans and kind of grey.
