i live in vegas seen that car a million times creepy each time i see it im like damn they didnt want these to alive period they have some contest whoever can guess how many bullets in the car gets some prize or something wow wtff lol
I have a higher quality version of this that I'll post on YT soon. I'm beginning to think this scene was staged. Bonnie's door has very little damage, suggesting the door was open during the attack. She may have been outside the car trying to surrender, jumped back in the car & the animals murdered her. Hamer knew they were staying with Methvin's father, was B&C murdered there? Earwitnesses heard 2 quick shots, not a long volley. B&C's money disappeared.
Scum of the Earth , Both of them , Got what they deserved , Murdering shopkeepers and cops for there own cowardly gain , Cops should have fuked them up the first chance they got instead of trying to capture them a few times first . They had no respect for a human life , Earth got a whole lot better the day these 2 died
@Scottypowpow This is exactly the way they wanted to die. To be remember for all time, to be criminal legends for all history. They wanted to be immortals in the mind of humanity and to that, they have succeeded by a large margin.
@89ford150302 No, it was not. The basic components of video were developed by many different peoiple who contributed ideas and devices to the system going back as far as 1831. But the actual first television transmissions didn't officially debut until 1931. And videotape didn't exist until 1956.
@misfitfirdis At the time they were actually considered folk hero's to many...don't see that now, lol. Though, I think it was because the vast majority of their victims were cops. Gangsters back then would not kill civilians if there was any way they could avoid it. Now, these thugs today are pussys, They kill anybody including kids. In a way, they were tougher than these scum nowadays, because they took on the Police only.
@misfitfirdis Oh, one other thing. Bonnie and Clyde stopped on that dirt road to help a stranded motorist...but it was an undercover cop, with the others waiting in the brush....would a criminal do that today?...hahahaha
@macroevolve hmmmm ..i guess they were heros to some .i dont know the whole story...id still like to see modern day gangsters get punished a little more severly..
@macroevolve The man they stopped to help was Ivy Methvin, the father of Henry Methvin, who was their running mate. It was Methvin Snr who did a deal with Frank Hamer to turn over Bonnie and Clyde in return for clemency for his son. In fact, Ivy Methvin was not on the side of the road with his truck. He was in the bushes with the posse who did the shooting. At that time, he could not be 100% sure that his son was not in the car with Bonnie and Clyde.
@wazupmiley97 They were killed around 1935. Clyde had "NO" children. I'm 61 and my Dad would be 81 if he was alive and his Dad would be 102 if he was alive so how the hell could Clyde (who died at 36 yrs old) be your Grandpa 7 generations removed. Abraham Lincoln was alive in 1864 and that's only 147 yrs ago so that's 2 Grandpa's living to be 73 yrs old each or 3 Grandpa's being 49 yrs old when they died. Your a lieing muther fucker..... Because it's Mathmatically "IMPOSSIBLE" you IDIOT...!!!
Bonnie didn't die right away. One of the officers went to the front of the car on the passengers side and opened fire on Bonnie shooting her several times in the face. You can see all the bullet holes in the glass in the front of the car where she was sitting. Clyde died instantly from a shot to the back of the head and his feet came off the brake and clutch and the car started to roll and that's when all the officers started shooting.
Famous though they were, they were pretty useless robbers. They never netted more than $3800 in any one robbery while Dillinger got over $74,000 in his biggest. In their final months, Bonnie was crippled from an accident the previous year and they lived in their cars on in fields, except for a brief time in Louisiana. They didn't wash and they smelled. Someone cut off Bonnie's hair and one of her hands was shot away in the ambush.
@oOBYRNEOo I have not seen any reference to that one. Can you tell me which bank that was? I recently read Bryan Burrough's book "Public Enemies" which is where I got my figure from. Very good book if you are interested.
You are correct about the strategy though. The Ford V8 was usually a shot distance away.
@Camerameister i was just watchin a couple of videos on youtube i cant remember what the bank was called but i remember watching the video i watched it before i watched this video
they were on left side of road nearest driver-notice front window-hinton said she screamed like a banshee-did he have to silence her (30-06 bar)-she fell nearly out when he opened door-rest of film shows car towed thru town among mob
this old documenter makes me scare because it's genuine. i know that bonnie & clyde is a true story. maybe that car was the one of the most haunted car in the golden crime history. they are dead with 160 bullet shot through their car. wow quite of shocking!!!
Great film. It was shot by Ted Hinton, one of the six officers that was in the posse that killed Bonnie and Clyde. I'm not sure when or who added the narrration.
They shot them Over 40 times, bonnie got the most shots, they passed through her body and out throught the door! OWCH!

Actually the film was taken by a member of the ambush posse who began filming as soon as it was determined the outlaws were dead.
