Look out for my version of leaf house im working on right now. It has the style of the live version which i appreciate how much more darker it sounds. One thing this song needs is doubled vocals and the incessant repetitive synth ring, or else it loses what i think animal collective was looking for.

Learn more instruments, and more music; listen to EVERYTHING. Then you will maybe be good enough to call yourself a real music enthusiast.

Ignore the haters. Animal Collective is certainly not about being perfect. I enjoyed this a lot, and they are hands down by favorite group of all time. I don't cover their songs well but they're fun to play. Your voice is also not boring. :) Keep doin what you're doin!

Disregard the people saying you have a bad voice. You actually have a very nice voice. And this is a pretty good cover. I think it'd be cool if you got other people to sing it with you, but that's just my opinion, because what Animal Collective does in the song is they intertwine their voices to give it that eerie feel that the original song has, and you can't do that with one person. :) But that's obviously nothing against you, or your cover.

Good cover! AC is always hard to redo. It seemed you put in the subtitles in order to avoid embarrassment but I really think you should throw away any self-concious thoughts when playing Animal Collective. I think their music gives you permission to do so. Afterwards, you can return to the real world where you have to worry about what others think.
