the screen is just a bug. happened to me all the time in fallout 3, when you play for an extended periods of time. i just saved and reloaded which always worked but if the light on/off thing works it will save some time.

after finishing the game, I restarted and went into the vault at lvl 3. Took me about 30 retries to get in and 50 retries to complete everything there was to complete in the vault. At some point I thought I'll be stuck there forever cuz I did not make a backup save. Think I spent half of a day on it.

@Lloydy0151 well, there isnt radiation everywhere in new vegas like there was in fallout 3. so it isnt very common that you run into a highly irradiated place like vault 34, therefore since seamus is not a psychic he did not know that he would need the radiation suit, in conclusion, fuck you.

Dude when your pip boy glows like that turn on the light then use it then turn it off again and it will run fine again, that glitch happened on fallout 3 to me as well and all i ahd to do was turn the light on then use the pipboy then turn the light off and it would work fine again... just some useful tips there bro :)

when i got to vault 34 and heard all the ghouls, i threw every last on of my grenades and dynamite from the entrance into the rooms and killed all but 2 ghouls. the end of the lil' side quest for this vault is very fun by the way as well :D

true here and now perk saves time but if your at a high level and you need some pts added to... whatever, here and now really comes in handy so you dont have to scavenge for enemies and quests.. with enemies
