We didn't take out a nice VR6. Check out my other videos... that engine was done. Now the car can go 800 miles on one tank of fuel while running on fuel made entirely in the USA. Not bad in my book.
@KLA551K Piece of shit diesel? WTH? My 02 Jetta diesel has almost 500K on it and still get's awesome fuel economy. Never in my life would I call my car's engine a piece of shit! Why would you think that it is a POS?

No, it is an AHU. The US market Jettas received the AHU mid 1997. Ealry 1997 Jettas and all B4 Passats have the 1Z.

@Siegburg61 All the old TDIs sold in the USA are 90 hp. He had a chiptune thought so it was making about 120 hp.
