  • No country for old men is one of the best dramas ive ever seen in my life it ends good and it feels so real the movie looks like it really happend thats why it one 4 oscars :) Im getting my copy on Blu ray yeahhh

  • I can't believe this was nominated for best sound. retarded. and bardem could only win supporting actor because there was no main actor. I can understand why it won awards but I still think it is onw shit film. and anyone who says "oh, you just didn't get it!" and "it was hilarious!" should be shot because I did get it, and it was not funny at all and it was seriously shit

  • Guess what you asshole. Just because you can't appreciate good movies doesn't mean you need to call it a bad movie. Name one better movie made in 2008 and maybe I'll change my mind, but this certainly deserved the oscar(s) that it won.

  • What the hell. There was no main actor? Do you remember that guy called Tommy Lee Jones who narrated the entire movie? You can understand why it won awards...but it's still a "shit film"? Are you kidding me. Make up your mind. And who said it was hilarious? It's a thriller, not a comedy. You're entitled to an opinion, but seriously...before you bash the crap out of a movie, think about the logic behind what you're saying.

  • it's described as a dark comedy on BBC and IMDB. there were also wirdos laughing at every time someone got shot in the cinema. obviously people who should be jailed for finding that funny. I was just sitting there thinking man its hard to keep my eyes open. if I was insomniac I would know what to do... watch this film

  • Yeah, there really wasnt anything funny about that movie at all. I left the theater feeling disapointed. But the more I thought about the film afterwards the more I appreciated the realism of it. I think the ending was a little abrupt. At times the film also felt like it was missing scenes. I guess that's what you get when you try to turn a book into a movie. Personally I thought "Michael Clayton" was better.

  • Ok so which one is it. obviously i'm right, nobody even knows who is the main actor. tommy lee or javier bardem. tossers. i'm entitled to my own opinion but i've noticed that most people who love this film react badly to my comments. making people who like this film wierd and unsociable just like the coens.

  • well I don't have a favourite. there are too many. There will be blood is brilliant though. Schindler's List, Fight Club, American History X, the departed, Sin City, Batman Begins (even though some might not agree), Fargo, The Green Mile, Dog Day Afternoon, Groundhog Day, Scarface, Twelve Monkeys, La Haine... could go on forever
