Nowadays I'd probably do this nightsky thing for real with an SLR and long time exposure, this video here was only shot on a Canon MV600 (very cheap) during the day, the colors and the stars are faked.

and whats the songname? Can you do a timelap with real night sky? like when fullmoon shines. it`s so cool if you walk outside and look above and see the stars :) i guess in summer camping outside and night to lay on bed outside and see the stars, that need to be great! :D

If you take a look at my video called "Influence at 4:07 (P-Land)" then you can see a real moon timelapse :) but the nightsky itself with stars and everything is really hard to get even with a camera like my xl2...I'd love to do that one day...and I will for sure do the camping thing with my wonderful girlfriend in summer :)

actually, no, the night is fake ;) it has been shot during daytime and i edited the colors and added the stars

well, thanks :D those stars are nothing more than 2-dimensional white dots scrolling from the left to the right ;) and there was a mask around the house and tree

it was done with flash. the color editing with the very poor ulead video studio 9 ;)

I was going to buy Ulead, is it a quality program? It has very good effects but it seems kinda limiting in some areas. I've been shopping around for good Video Editing Softwear.

i think Ulead is okay to start with, but its effects are very poor and its only two (!) external sound-patterns are very limiting.... i think the best software will be Final Cut Pro (in a bundle with Motion and other programs) for the mac - we will buy it next year to cut and edit out bigger project
