@zetashiki1 Heh yes this is what I meant by not evil - they are just following what they think is correct, as twisted as some of those beliefs may be! Unfortunately some of the characters don't have enough background storyline to explain their actions, but of course they aren't saints!

@ancrumbq12 he never was evil! in fact I don't believe anyone in the old Gundam series is evil, (can't vouch for the newer ones as I haven't seen them) the characters just have ideas and beliefs and go about them in opposing ways. Char's reasoning for trying to create a nuclear winter is actually somewhat sensible - it's just that it doesn't warrant the killing of innocent people. He is still my favourite character of them all.

I do agree many character in the show were just acting of ideologys and beleifs like char, however unlike Char, most of the character listed above while having twisted ideologys, still acted opon them.

Giren: Colony dropping and trying to take control of Earths as a dictactor.

Yazan: Senselss murderer.

Jomitov: Anti spacenoid tyrant

@ancrumq12 Yeah Char isn't really evil. Lalah has the best insight on the workings of his mind and she said that he was pure hearted. When he was younger his father indoctrinated the ideal that humans (mainly earthlings) were lost and were slowly destroying the earth with pollution, war and over population. Char's motivations change threw the MSG and Zeta, but in Zeta he actually had faith in mankind. In the end, and i suppose do to the actions of ppl in Zeta and abandons that faith

@ancrumq12 somewhere he decides that earthlings must pay for what they have done and decides to drop the asteroid base on earth to destroy a great deal of the earth population. it would also cause a imbalance in earth climate. Making the few the survive and even the planet it's self start all over again.

what a great track it goes perfect with the ending i loved how they kinda gave a glimpse at the heavily damaged hyakushiki with the cockpit opened kinda giving you a hint that char survived to return as the bad guy in chars counter attack movie

To me, this is kind of reflecting on all those who died in the final battle. Katz, Emma, the entire crew of the Radish, countless others- once the dust settles, you realize just how much you've lost.

Without a doubt, this to me probably the most SHOCKING and horrible ending I have seen to any anime. Sure, technically Kamille doesn't actually die, but he becomes a drooling comatose vegetable, and to me, that's a fate far worse than death. I was completely speechless after the ending of this show. It just goes to show ya, that in war, NO ONE is invincible, not even the good guys.

@KingLazerman zeta gundam and the original gundam are two of the best gundam series there definatially a lot better than gundam wing, seed, and g gundam. Watch the zeta gundam movies the new one's that came out a few years ago.

@loneotaku Zeta Gundam's ending was a shocker even for me. You would expect the hero to die valiently or surrive to live another day and live happily ever after. Instead the battle wages on and Kamille becomes comatose what a way to end the Grypts war.

Mixing great old animation, with shitty new crap? Instead of the 2 and half hour original gundam movies, they were an hour and a half cut up fests.
