okay i have some advice, you've defiantly got the rock n roll pentatonics down, but a solo is only a small part of the song, i recommend getting in a band with a good lead singer and working on good lyrical and melodic songs, because its almost impossible to cut a good instrumental record or song, and i don't mean to offend you, but these instrumentals have no melody or harmony, there just constant solos, but you still have lots of potential

Desiree is a fresh and amazing new talent and her playing is just as impressive whether it is played by a 16 year old or a 35 year old.

Joe Satriani and Steve Vai didn't even play this well at her age.. she's got time to create her own voice..

@icanmanifest I'm going to say that there is very little "new" in this song too, but hey there's nothing wrong with that. People still listen to old recordings by old bands because nobody else came along and did it better, and well I won't get into worse or better but this girl did it very well! This song has a kickass groove to it, I like it.

But Satriani and Vai very well may have played just as well when they were her age... have you ever heard any old recordings? But it doesn't matter

Des, Is a really great player, but it's all been done before, there is nothing original about it. It's flashy and brillant in the moment. It's not someting that people are gonna want to take home with them. She could play every club in the US, but will never be anything more that just a novelty, unless she sings and shows that she has something sincere and genuine to offer. Just knowing chops, still falls short of stardom. but she is a wonderful talent. Keep it up.

She is still very young and developing her talent. It amazes me how spoiled most people are. I remember hearing Eddie Van Halen for the first time and how I felt those chills, rock music isnt about all this technical crap its about what it makes you feel, I felt those same chills with Des as I did when I first heard Eddie. If its because she is a girl, even better! She can kick most guys asses. Why? Because you cant tell she loves what she does, she is performer and she makes you FEEL the music!
