Yes. You would need to go into the BIOS and set the drive as bootable in the boot priority settings.

One gigabyte is actually 1024 megabytes. There is a binary code and it starts from 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. and these numbers double. so keep doubling them numbers until you get to 1024.
