Simplemente el que hizo el reportaje no se documento bien sobre el tema, esta muy lejos de estar en lo cierto. Todos los que somos marinos y hemos estado abordo lo sabemos, pero para cualquier otra persona tal vez pasaria desapercibido.
De lso mas grandes?, mentira, cualquier barco de Maerk supera ese barco.
Yhare Viking 458mtrs, Emma Maresk, Eleonora Maersk,Evalyne Maersk..Ebba, Elly... y mas de la Clase E de Maersk miden 398 metros viene todos los meses al puerto de Algeciras...clase L, trabajo en una Refineria y a la semana entran barcos que superan a ese... cruceros como el Queen Mary II y muchicismos mas..es que no se , pero deberian de informarse mas a la hora de dar esa noticia, hay cientos de barcos por delante de ese.

Since it is the bulk carrier her dimensions are 225m by 32 meters of breadth. Panamax ships are capable to carry up to 80000 tons of cargo. But as "perroconchaleco" commented there are much bigger ships navigating. For example largest container ship presentl is 396 meters long and with a breadth (boca) 56 meters - few ships owned by Maersk
and can carry over 13000 containers. Largest bulk carriers have similar dimensions, but capable to carry over 300.000 of bulk cargo (maninly coal and ores). Years ago existed few tankers with capacities of over 500.000 tons of cargo (crude oil), which are some cut as scrap and still some used as floating storage tankers. Nowadays are in use large tankers with capacity 300.000 tons and 330 meters by 60 meters about. This details are true as I am one of Captains in command of these nice ladies.
