I've been there twice in September and the waves and rip tide are very dangerous, people shouldn't go in unless they're strong swimmers, women and children should definetely not go in during this month. I've seen very close calls. On the other hand i went there in July and the water was calm and very clear, you could see the fish passing by, it was like swimming in a huge clear pool. Best time to go...June, July and August....avoid September if you don't want to have a bad scare.
