  • I hear it saying "win da fight!"

  • Clint Eastwood once out stared his own reflection in the mirror

  • For Morricone fans, you can see a video from his concert in Venice in San Marco; absolutely fabulous!

  • Babe Ruth's version is a whole lot better.

  • @jonathanwichtendahl >2011

    >An old hard rock arrangement is considered better than the ORIGINAL orchestral score.

  • Ennio Morricone + Sergio Leone + Clint Eastwood = Legendary

There are no other words to describe this!

  • Gracias por compartir, amigo. Es una obra maestra de Morricone. ¡Bravo!... (desde México)

  • You rock man.... keep'em comin'..!

    And hang'em high..!

  • "Week can fight"!!! Best trilogy EVER!!! Who would have thought they were made in Italy.

  • I don't want to be a grumbler but you've written `Per un pugn di dollari' instead of `pugno.'

    Beautiful music, thanks for uploading!

  • The Japanese title, "Koya no Yojimbo" means "Yojimbo (bodyguard) of Wilderness". Since the story is based "Yojimbo", it's an appropriate title.

Primal Sky Caballero Del Mar ****

Imagine Charles Lloyd in a psychedelic surfband with a post-spaghetti Ennio Morreconi, and you might get a hint of what Primal Sky is about - a hint because this is much more haunting and adventurous than that. It's not surf per say, but there are lots of very nice guitar lines suggesting surf, and the artistry here is just too good to pass up.

  • I've just seen that MorriconeRocks is from U.S.A., so I'll translate my post in English for him and everybody who don't speak Italian :-P

"I've got the original mono 45 rpm vinyl, and the music is slightly different: male voices say "WHICK E WHICK" instead of "WHICK E WHACK", and the electric guitar solo is totally different.

Does anyone knows why there are these two versions of the song?"

  • Wonderful, I love the first minute best. I always have this in my head after watching the movie. :)

  • Classic!

Ricordo il mio professore di seconda superiore che la fischiava nei corridoi e dopo poche ore tutti nella scuola la fischiettavano... è magica questa canzone :D

  • My favorite by Ennio!!!

    Ennio you are the best!

sei il migliore Ennio l'orgoglio di noi Italiani!

  • NEG'S URBAN SPORTS. WOOP WOOP WOOP

  • Eastwood's character is so clearly supernatural in the Dollars Trilogy, especially For a Few Dollars More, but even though A Fistful of Dollars is based on an old story(s), it is the best of the "Evil pitted against Evil with Good in the Middle" theme. The music has that eerie, supra-natural feel to it and Eastwood's speed with that Colt 1851 Navy, especially at the end, is not-of-this-world; he is The Hand of Fate. Fantastic movie, fabulous music.

  • Your descriptive eloquence couldn't not have been better said :) Great comment.

  • Colt Navy, GBU maybe,

in FOD & FAFDM it's your bog standard Peacemaker Colt.

    JR.

  • Yes, I saw FAFDM last night and Eastwood's revolver wqas not the same one that he used in TGTBATU, it did have the silver rattle snake on its grips though. Great catch on that one djrbfm.

  • @Ghoststar2009 ever seen high plains drifter?

  • @xgncmx

How about Pale rider? While High plains drifter has a supernatural feel to it, in Pale Rider The Preacher is clearly a ghost.

  • @Edhunter665 never saw that one, it worth a watch?

  • i love this stuffs, do u have the song from the good the bad the ugly, in the prison of south army ?

  • Anyone know where I can find that child-like music theme that they play in one of the movies, before they duel? One of those musical boxes, with the tiny spinning balerina on it?

  • Ennio Morricone - The Musical Pocket Watch

  • THANK you! Awesome, I'm off to listen to it right now.

  • mint!

  • Are they saying " We can fight" at the end of this tune?

  • That's what I always thought. But it seems like everyone hears something different.

  • In the preliminary version of "Titoli", the chorus says "with the wind" which is exactly same as the back chorus used for Peter Tevis version of "Pastures of Plenty".

  • I hear it too

  • definitly "we can fight" :)

  • Leone's biographer asked one of the singers, and even he couldn't remember. He said "we can fight" (Which is what I always hear) was one possibility. Others were "we defy" or "with the wind."

  • @galuidi yeah, im pretty sure its we can fight... started sounding german for a second haha, but im sure its we can fight

  • @galuidi i hear "we can fight" aswell.

  • @xgncmx According to the book "Once upon a time in the Italian West", the choir is saying "we defy".

  • @Lyndle54 ahh that fits lol, cheers.

  • @galuidi I hear WICKED WIFE!

  • great job!!!!!

  • Thank you! Great to listening!

  • THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH MORRICONEROCKS. YOU ARE DOING A MAGNIFICENT WORK. I just keep on listening everything you posted about the Maestro Morricone. Thank you.

  • Magnificent, mysterious and epic movie. Clint Eastwood superb, Lee Van Cleef outstanding and Gian Maria Volonte is out of this world.

  • ...OF GREATNESS TO COME...

  • super

  • i like this theme, but i think the films get better as the series goes on as do the musical scores. Morricone is a great composer.

  • Brings me back when I turn on to TCM or TNT and watch Clint Eastwood or any other Western when I was a kid. Those were the days and they don't make them like they use to.

  • Classic

  • I love this one too.

  • antonis vs gkikas

  • Awesome, love this one!
