Dissapointing...The negative comments I mean. Early Burzum at its best. Great lyrics, great beat, and amazing vocals you wont hear anywhere else, which is something thats toned down on the later releases. The only thing thats weird is the cough when Varg says "Cries of the suffering sound..."

I suppose this was part of the recording with the worst microphone that Vikernes talked about in the documentary Until The Light Takes Us. Getting any audio out of such a low-grade microphone is a small achievement alone. Real DIY and all the more unfortunate that he let political extremism and personal disputes result in murder and imprisonment.

Most musicians usually screw up with drugs or alcohol, so Vikernes can say substance abuse didn't mess him up...which makes him more notorious.

@svendsenjr I heard the song of BFMV and it's really similiar. The one thing I have to mention is that Burzum played these notes waaaaay earlier than BFMV. You are pretty sure about what have you said but other guys got the point that it can irritate many people. Saying about bands like that under the Burzum/Mayhem/Darkthrone/anyot­herultrasuperduperkvltband is like wearing a sheep's skin and going between the wolfs, you know...?
