I used to have portal 2 for ps3 but was pre-owned so i couldnt get free game for pc (steam) however, I have found a cracked version of CSS and am continuing to create maps for CSS. You can use fraps to record your PC Games, (torrent) and after effects to create better intros. HTH q-_-p

The only reason toon boom is good is for lipsyncing, other than that use flash, Thumbs Up if you agree, Thumbs Down if you disagree.

hello,could you help show me how to switch cameras angles within one scene. something like use the whole drawing for a few frames and then switch to a closeup for a few frames and then back to the whole picture. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The screenshot of the interface is poor quality, out of focus, so icons and menus clicked on are not visible, and he uses off screen controls such as keycodes sometimes explaining, sometimes not. The "tutor" needs to take a course in how to tutor, because this ends up looking like showing off. And calling the new class members "noobs" backs this up in the sense he is belittling his students before the lesson has even started.

Hi there. Thanks for these tutorials... they really brought things into focus for me! After viewing part 1 and most of part 2 (I was too eager to get stuck in to watch it all!!!) Its worth the money. and its not difficult at all, I made a simple (badly drawn) animation of a baguette being thrown at someones face and them reacting to it, took about half hour to do 3 seconds though, sounds about right in animation to be honest.

It really is worth the money, I'd suggest buying it and having the technical support and other features that come with an official copy.

Not to mention, Torrenting this is very bad news as its expensive!

@DarkCloudBoy Choose camera view. I can't remember how, but I think there are some buttons on the right side of the drawing area, one of them is the camera view button.

@DarkCloudBoy Ok ive figured it out i think you're probably doing what im going and using the exposure sheet to fill in your drawings use the tab to the left of that called timeline and click on the plus symbol to add a new one. then click on the camera in the top right next to colour pallet and it should work :)

@idvhfd But that's what's so great about animation! You don't have to be a great drawer, just a pretty good story teller. And you don't have to be that! Toons don't have to be based on realism. Just use simple shapes to make your characters and environment, come up with a fun story and do your best. If you want to do it, don't let lack luster drawing skills stop you! I think you will need to redraw or trace over the pics in toonboom to animate or probably cut them up and animate.

Thank you so much for your time in doing this video. I have a question.. I have followed this video over and over everything works fine until I try to get the ball to move. When I copy paste it just places a new object along with the original. If I move the timeline and object nothing happens at all when I try to paste. Toon Boom is more specialized for animation while Flash is more specialized for interactive web applications.

If you're more for animation, go with Toon Boom. Although it is more complicated than Flash, it has more features and capabilities.
