  • whats the offset of those xd wheels?

  • any drone/resonance/buzziness?

  • does the in cab soung get anoying to listen to? i love the way the drive by and stuff sounds. i just dont know if i want to take out the rear cats compleatly or jsut switch to hi flows. any info or anything is appreciated. i got a flowmaster super 40 si/do catback now how much louder do you think it would be in cab than that? by the way i love ur truck looks and sounds nasty

  • i assume ur truck had 4 cats to start? did it throw a check engine light when you got rid of the back to?

  • @TheFordman1989 Yes it did. No, the 04/05s had the rear sensors infront of the back cats.

  • do these pop any like glasspacks or bullets at all?

  • @bowtieboy18 The mufflers don't no, but the exhaust setup itself did. True duals will pop when cold or down-reved hard, as in a shift down.

  • @DarrenWS6 okay. im just looking for a muffler that will give that straight piped sound like how it pops sometimes.any recommendations?

  • @bowtieboy18 Aisde of a cheaper glasspack, maybe the Corsa exhaust with headers will sound aggressive with some down rev pop but the Bullets give off a real deep tone like a Magnaflow. Not too straight pipe toned or back firing.

  • Did you put a leveling kit on with all of this too ?

  • @rigidbart Yes the truck had the Bilstein 5100 leveling and rear shocks.

  • das a sexy truck bro

  • i like the part when u blow the doors off that piece of shit silverado

  • @Oxywo1 lol

  • What rim size are those?

  • @MrJuvenal979 20" on 33s

  • music to my ears!

  • how much did that exhaust system cost?

  • @soemoithurts1337 duals in t-409 stainless were $280 installed, tips were $110, mufflers were $136 shipped, the rear cat delete costed about $40 in parts, so you are looking at about $566 in exhaust give or take prices and tax.

  • what did this cost u in the end

  • sexy sexy sexy sexy seeeexxxxyyyyyyyyy

  • The exhaust usually higher the MPG on mainly any vehicle

  • Does that affect your fuel economy or improve it?

  • Nice truck man.

  • 1 person likes chevys

  • What is the exact magnaflow part numbers...i have an 04 5.4 supercrew and i need an exhaust system like that.

  • @mustangjason86 The Magnaflow parts are, mufflers #11366, tips #35117.

  • @DarrenWS6 U postive on this part numbers? tips look different ? on mags site

  • what leveling kit do u got

  • @BuiltFordTough10 Bilstein 5100 leveling struts & rear shocks.

  • How much did the tires costs u and are they good tires

  • @sspurlock04 $1500 some for the tires in 2009, excellent tires. 29k miles on them and they are at about half tread life.

  • Did you have any troubles when you deleted the cats? Did you use programmer to shut off the CEL? Thanks

  • @Barker2448 No issues the rear O2s were not even touched. The rear O2s monitor the front cats, not the rears. Odd but thats how it is set up.

  • song name?

  • @TheGloryfighter1000 The very beginning song? Its called New Noise by the band Refused.

  • preety good truck killer rims nice paint job

  • @TheGloryfighter1000 Thank you

  • How much was the black rims and wat size and kind along with wheels or tires

  • @xTrickk The wheels are KMC XD Monsters, 20"x9". +18 offset 5.71" BS. Tires are Toyo Mud Terrain 33"x12.5"/20. Wheels were $960 some, I bought this set as a entire package Sept 2009 for $2,495

  • I want to get my 2010 f-150 xl sound like yours like i love your truck it sounds so beast! but I just put on true duals flowmasters straight piped and it's not as loud as I thought it be but I can't get to a power hungry performance cuz I live in Jacksonville

  • @gatorboy1990 A swap to the Magnaflows or Magnapacks will make you very happy. Custom tuning is just fine imo, I do not care to dyno my truck.

  • lift kit or no?

  • @ZeroDragondelta9 No lift, doesn't look lifted to me haha. Its got the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit, and a ProComp AAL for towing.

  • @ZeroDragondelta9 No lift, doesn't look lifted to me haha. Its got the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit, and a ProComp AAL for towing.

  • @DarrenWS6 must be the tires lol sorry

  • Beastly truck. 'nuff said

  • What kind of rims are those man? Those would look great on my black F150

  • @VCAbasketball 20"x9" XD Monsters. They look good on all '04+ F150s

  • i like how you pass at 3:45sec in a no passing zone AWSOME!!

  • @ZACK16GRIZZLY And you can tell that because of the road that is clearly out of focus huh? But its evident that there are dashed lines as I pass the slow truck, AWESOME!

  • Comment removed

  • my buddy has a 2009 5.4 supercrew, and before he lifted it that beast could keep up with my mustang when it was stock, LOVE F-series trucks man

  • @ADD8oi hell yeah man. The new 6spds are nice shifting. The 2011 new powertrain line up seems awesome, im looking into a 6.2L Platinum hopefully next year.

  • @DarrenWS6 my dad ended up buying a 6.2L lariat 4x4, i had to drive it out to work one day, and trust me, you will absolutely LOVE it, all the greatness of the old 150s with 411 hp and 430tq, picks up and glues you to the seat

  • @ADD8oi I bet man. Harsh economy would be worth the powerful pull of that new 6.2

  • @DarrenWS6 the greatest part of the new ford powerplants is the fuel economy, the 6.2 is currently getting 23.4mpg....its absolutely great

  • @ADD8oi 23.4mpg highway? holy hell! With 411 horse and 23mpg thats awesome. I've heard the economy in the 6.2L is pretty low, lower than the 5.4L, but that may be economy from the Raptor trim.

  • @DarrenWS6 it may be, but i was shocked too, ford really has stepped it up

  • @ADD8oi yeah man, its about time too.

  • 2:45, ur fukkin movin! lol, love that ford sound, D!

  • @motorcityplaya lol thanks

  • SOUNDS GREAT!!

  • Put 24" monsters on 37" tires and it'll be clean.

  • @evanb0869 haha it wouldn't clear the least bit. Need a 6" lift + body for that, or at least an 8" but that will require brake line, drive shafts, tons of extensions in tons of areas. and ofcoarse regear, 4.88 at least

  • @DarrenWS6 Yeah but that would be the baddest bitch around. Those are my fav wheels. I'm wanting to get that set up for my truck but don't have 4k for wheels and tires alone.

  • @evanb0869 lol for sure, i'd rather put the money towards a wider driveway or as a downpay for my next truck

  • thats a badass truck u got there man, 10/10...love the rims

  • @dipper4america thanks man!

  • I see you have your cats deleted, if I get the same exhaust but high flow cats will it sound the same? I would like to stay legal

  • @TucksAndSkis Not all the cats are gone. '97 - early model '05s had 4 cats, I just removed the rear set. The front set is basically a hi-flow setup so it would sound like this.

  • sick vid! um if u dont mind me asking, how much was the whole suspension kit? and precisely what does it contain?

  • @trp350 Thanks. I have the Bilstein 5100 series kit which contains leveling struts and replacement rear shocks, front struts are at a lift of 2", rears are just stiffer than stock. Bought it in 2008 from TopGunCustomz for $380, installed shocks myself, dealer did the struts for $184 + $40 for alignment.

  • @DarrenWS6 Thanks for the info. I'm needing ideas for my yukon. it has an dual exhaust, throttle body spacer, and cold air intake. and now im trying to find a all around good suspension. and if u do check out my vid for my yukon, please excuse the shitty mic. its from a phone. sounds muuuuch better in person.making a new one soon. thanks again!

  • @trp350 Bilstein definitely makes excellent suspension parts. If your lifting, Rough Country makes great products too.

  • when u say bodies i dont get what you mean? i love this exhaust and want it for my truck im just curious as to what u mean by 11" bodies?? THANKS

  • @TysonDavid22 Magnaflow's mufflers don't have names, they go by size. I have, well, had, the smallest oval body Magnaflow mufflers on here, the 11" body mufflers. They also offer a 14,. 18", and 22". The bigger the quieter.

  • Are youi running two seperate mufflers? Or like a magnaflow cat back system with one mufler?

  • @cobraCRZY48 The title says True Dualed. So yes, two mufflers.

  • what size rims are those?

  • @largemouthbassrigs 20" with 33" Toyo M/Ts

  • thats a bad truck! i think ima go with magnaflow on my new truck, which is thier loudest muffler, cause i want mine to make some noise

  • @profireman72 Their loudest muffler is the Magnapack. That is their 14" long 4" round budy. Equivalent to a Dynomax bullet ( which is what i'm running now ).

  • that sounds sweeeet

  • @mygoatwilleatyou thanks

  • Hell the tires make more noise than the exhaust on drive by....

  • @ManswerGuy just how I like it.

  • yea i was thinking on how i could paint the insides black, how do you go about doing that?

  • @dipper4america when you remove the headlamp itself, there should be a buncha little almost clamp like things around the head light. if you unclamp them, it removes the clear part and makes the housing accessible for painting or whatever you wanna do

  • sweet truck, what kind of headlights are those?

  • @dipper4america Thanks. Stock ones pulled apart and the housings painted black.

  • man fuk this stupid ass spoiled lil bitch wat does he know bout workin hard for wat u got an earned not a damn thing cuz hes always gotten shiet given to him like a bitch!!!! Anyway i like your truck man and i think it sounds bad ass im thinkin of cuttin the cats on mine as well.

  • nice truck

  • @spk9grsch thank you.

  • Ur arguing with a 16 year old and my dad has a porsche and a 54 stingray that would beat ur trans ams ass it's not my fault I'm gonna get nice shit my whole life my moms a pharmacist and my dad is the half owner of abercrombie and fitch. Lol. I have so much money u wouldn't know what to do with it.

  • @99ford150v8 Wasn't arguing, I just do not take too kindly of a kid telling me my vehicle sucks when it is what I want out of it. I'm 22 and set up real well myself, earned on my own. My father owns a contracting business and mother is an R/N, so I know a bit about what your talking, but I dont brag or accept things from themm, not that its wrong, but the attitude I dont take too kindly to . And i said i "had" a Trans am, traded it for my previous truck in 07. but nice chatting with ya lol.

  • I'm not hating on ur truck u just need to get over yourself. My truck is way better than yours but I'm not obsessed with it I'm 16 I don't have time to make like 40 videos of my truck driving around on YouTube. I but the funny thing is I had 6 car show trophies before I even had my license.lol. Ur shits weak.

  • @99ford150v8 your calling my vehicle gay.. not hating lol. Well do you think I give a fuck? Its a pick up truck, I work it every day damn near, its a tool. So thank your mommy and daddy for getting ya a 'better than mine' truck at 16yrs old. Since I was 16, i've had 3 trucks, and a Trans Am, + my own house. Not trying to impress anyone i get what I like and make it how I want. So my leveled on 33s is perfect to me. Videos are a hobby of mine, dont like, dont watch or comment like a child.

  • I find It funny that most of the haters on your vids Darren In fact have no videos themselves to back up what they say they have. Fuckin trolls. LOL!

  • @scotts01Z71 yeah theres one in every crowd, I dont care.its the internet, feelings can't get hurt on it, theres better things to do lol

  • Ur truck looks gay and u need to get over it u already know what truck I have from the other video so try my setup it cost about 5 grand 8" rough country lift 40" nitto mud grapplers and 24x14 KMC XD rockstars have to give props on ur rims they look decent.

  • @99ford150v8 It does not look 'gay', and its a daily used truck, and i'm looking to trade it for a brand new one. I do not desire any suspension lifts. Mine is precisely where I want it.

  • looks great with the rims! sounds great with the exhaust. great video.

  • @Ratbiker thanks man!

  • What is the name of the song?

  • @zarri113 song is "New Noise" by Refused.

  • what is the name of the song at the beginnin?

  • btw awesome sounding truck man, good job. fords own

  • what rpm are your shift points set at with that programmer?

  • @94landcruiser80 thanks. 1-2 2-3 are set at 5200rpm max, 3-4 shift is 4800.

  • thats a bad ass truck dud, but i dont think you can beat a nissan titan.....

  • @nissanimo thanks. Probably not, I dont race it, dont care for it. I had a Trans Am WS6 back in the day of racing. Its 5,500lbs of a tough ass 1/2 ton. No other 1/2 ton can outpul it.

  • Those tires and rims are nice!! they look good but do they rub when you make sharp turns? so you have a leveling kit?

  • @nissanimo Thanks. No rubbing, 2" leveling up front, pro comp AAL in the rear from previous owner. Has a nice stance even when towing.

  • trucks need good ol boy music when you see them, loud thrashing music belongs with x-games sports. That having been said, exhaust sounds great

  • @basspro1972 lol, yeah i'm a metal head & I like country too. Thanks man.

  • hey man do them tires rub at at all when ya trun sharp,i wouldnt think they would but j/w. kickass truck by the way man

  • @8174374 Only in reverse at full lock, the side lugs of the tires rub the lower A-arm. No big deal at all. Thanks!

  • when u deleted the 2 rear cats did u get a check engine light?

  • @x1boomer Nope. 2004 & 2005s with 4 cats have the rear O2s infront of the rear cats.

  • hey man. sweet truck. how do those shocks work? im lookin to put those up front in my tundra and inch and a half add a leafs in the back to lift it a little and level it out. How do they adjust? is it automatically or what? any info helps. thanks.

  • @XxJamieOvertonxX The rear is your regular shock, the fronts in the F150s are strut based. Very comfortable ride. No more body roll or shake, but not stiff as hell. The leveling strut 5100 kits have a snap ring style clips. 3 of them, one at stock level, one at 1" level, and the last at 2" level.

  • hows the ride comfort with the bilsteins 5100 compared to stock shocks? is it harsh like most aftermarket off road susp. kits or not?

  • @pacsum It is more firm, but its not too stiff, body role is to a low minimum, and the stance is much better.

  • thats just a sweet truck all around

  • @kipp3r84 Thank you, much appreciated. Still a bit of a way to go but its progressing.

  • im not a fan of that sound at the top of the rpm range....sounds like its choked or something. I've heard that flowmasters sound best on Fords? what do you think? I know stangs of all generations sound great with flows, even tho Flowmaster's and other chamber type mufflers are the most restrictive type of muffs.

  • @APontiacof455cubes I personally think they sound horrible on the Modular V8 Ford engines. Straight through mufflers such as mine sound best. The rasp on the first take off only happens when accelerating and then flooring it till it tops the gear out. As seen later in the video, a dead stop floor it never rasps like that.

  • i just got magnaflows and they dont sound like that. what do they have to break in or something?

  • @guitardrum321 Yes, I have 19,000 - 21,000 miles through the exhaust in all of these videos. I also pulled my rear cats out which volumed it up more, and i'm custom tuned which sped up the idle speed and cam rotation and fuel burning. I also have the shortest oval body Magnaflow mufflers, the 11" bodies, the 14" and 18" are a lot less rasp toned and deeper sounding.

  • Those sound badass man great video!

  • @Toronto472 Thank you

  • Looks and sounds great.

What do you plan on getting?

  • @RidgeRunner88 Thanks. A newer F150, possibly FX4 trim, but I do want something with more luxury. Its a hard choice because this truck has treated me excellent, so I would hate to trade it in on a newer one that is potential for problems ya know.

  • I know what you mean, Darren. It's hard to trade something in that you've put so much time & effort into. Especially if you've never had any problems with it.

The '04-05 F150's aren't exactly the best years to have (besides Ford's inherent plug problems... cam phasers).

    Well... I guess it's time for a new '09 Platinum 4x4. :)

  • sick ass rims what kind are they

  • @clayton1clayton1 Thanks, 20" XD Monsters.

  • Comment removed

  • What year and size rims?

  • Just realized its an 04 lol but what is the best tuner you can get?

  • @saeger12 lol, and its on 20"x9" wheels. Anything thats customed tuned is great, but the Power Hungry Performance custom tuned Gryphon like I have, is an excellent and informative device, and the service at PHP is excellent, great people, well worth looking into.

  • cool vid, since you cut off the secondary cats do you get a different exhaust smell on start ups in the morning?

  • Yep. It smells a little cat-less on cold start, but is fine at normal idling and acceleration.

  • amazing sound!

  • whit all the shit you id say you should do a cam swap next, or at least headers

  • I'm not going that far with it. I'm trying to get rid of it actually, I want a newer and younger miled truck. Then i'll start over and possibly go all out with that.

  • how much are you selling if for?

  • @shredderman4 I'm not quite ready to sell it but i'm thinking $13,5 would be fair, its a high optioned XLT, 84,7 on the odometer right now, gonna be at least 100k by the time I can trade or sell.

  • I've watched most of your videos on the F150. I love the wheel/tire combo. I noticed you also have the edge tuner. What kind of gas mileage are you getting with the 33s and the tuner combo?

  • @bchild20 The edge was reprogrammed by Power Hungry Performance and is now a custom tuned Gryphon. With the 5.4, 3.73 LSD, and the Toyo 33s i'm getting around 14 city, 15 average, and 17.4 highway.

  • you and mblouir, have inspired me to get my 6th F150 ive ever had. thanks lol

  • @ShamusOGrady2 Cant go wrong with that, you wont regret it.

  • dont think i will, all my fords have been really reliable, all my gm's have been problematic, my 2000 silverado, had the rear end blow out 2nd week i had it, my 02 yukon denalic, the intake started leaking 3rd day i had it, then 03 avalanche, the rear passenger side spring would always come out if i had on a lift.

  • @ShamusOGrady2 My previous GMs haven't given me the best of reliability either. All Ford vehicles have been sound and built. rugged with only needing gasoline and oil changes.

  • GMT400 trucks and older are more reliable than the new garbage. GMT400 was overall the best generation and will never be topped.

  • @APontiacof455cubes Where did that come from? lol. Yes older are more reliable and simple, and the bodies can take a better beating as the newer they get the cheaper companies go. These days as long as the bumpers are reinforced, it has air bags, a good engine and good powertrain, the body can be cheap and full of convenient electronics.

  • Yea man i got manilfold back no cats true dual 2.25 pipes 10'' bottles holy fuck loudest in town snappy ha! 98 gmc sierra!

  • lol i wouldn't be able to stand it. Plus sneaking home through the neighborhood at 2am from the girlfriends house, id get complaints. My old truck was a Chevy 2500HD 6.0 with hi-flow cats and Super 44s, it was so loud it pissed me off. My F150 has caught up in volume lol

  • Ya man lol when coming up to my street i turn my truck off put it in N and roll ha too my house lol!

  • my 2.5" true duals straight pipe on my 2500HD are loud as fuck and i live on the side of a hill. from the highway to my house is about a mile all uphill an coming home late at night i bet my neighbors love me lol

  • lol I bet man. When I had my HD I lived in the country side so the neighbor thing didn't matter but it still grabbed attention in the night.

  • yea but oh well i dont really care lol

i was watching your vids of your HD it did seem a little louder then your 150...

i have 3 new vids of my HDs exhaust no revving vids yet but cold starts

  • @Gunnerotis Of coarse the HD is louder than the F150 lol. Im not trying to be loud, I want it noticeable, but quiet. I cant stand interior noise, and I drive through the neighborhood a lot at night, especially at my g/fs. Her parents get pissed when I leave late cause it wakes them up.I should do a compare video of the Silverado and F150s exhaust just for kicks. I know for sure the Silverados idle was louder, but the F150 can be heard from further away. k i'll check your vids out.

  • i dont have cats on my truck hey darren you should take out yours or do you have emissions testing?

  • @chevytruck123 No cats sounds like shit, plus I dont want the low end loss. Hi-flow cats are just fine.

  • Thats what you think man i think other tho i did not loose any low-end torque it got better ha ha!

  • Darren, your making me think my Roush was a waste of money lol!

Everytime you do a truck vid, I think of Coal Chamber's Big Truck :)

  • @tuffnugly454 haha thanks man. The Roush kit has nothing on me lol.

  • cannot go wrong with XD wheels... love them so much

    nice truck!

  • damn right. I love them. They look good on any 4x4 truck, especially with Toyo's wrapped around them. Thank you.

  • nice this the truck that replaced the chevy? sounds great and i love the tire and wheel combo

  • yep. Looking to trade this in for a brand new one hopefully in spring time.

  • 2:27 what if he had been in reverse on accident hahaha

  • hahah, he had my camera, i dont wanna break my camera haha

  • no problem. Once you burn a few thousand miles through them they will sound real good.

  • yes. no mufflers at all will fail, but as long as you have cats and a muffler(s) you will guaranteed pass.
