  • the solo in The Rover is one of my favorite Page solos, and you played it perfectly

  • So that's how Pagey plays it. An education. Thank you.

  • killer guitar mate! was it worth the $?

  • Great Cover, I think the best on youtube...well done.

  • Great cover! Love this song and am going to use your video to help learn it. Thanks!

  • Nice work bro.... Where to do get the tabs for your Zep songs?

  • @lo0620 come on man learn it by ear.. so much better for your playing than tab

  • GREAT job. Thanks mate.

  • Great job man, and really nice tone, getting the phaser in especially.

  • where is your distortion coming from?

  • @strwy2hvn94 The amp.

  • @strwy2hvn94 the amp u retard

  • @strwy2hvn94 From MARS!

  • @strwy2hvn94 from his bra strap!!!!!!

  • Great job... I'm a big Led Zeppelin fan myself. Check out Get The Led Out, they are great. Their guitarist Jimmy Marchiano is really good, and also has a vintage guitar, it's a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Classic All Gold LTD. Very nice, and rare.

To see a really good video of theirs type in the search bar "Get The Led Out Stairway to Heaven Solo Jimmy Marchiano" Went to the show myself. Seen them over 10 times, always a good, and quality show.

  • whats the bridge pick up?

  • it is a jimmy page burstbucker

  • plz send me the tabs and if u cant be bothered sendin whole song send solo

    thx

  • the solo part is awesome!

  • awesome! you do the legends playing very well..

  • Page also used special switching. Push/Pull. Neck Vol Pull= Single Coil. Neck Tone Pull controlled series for bridge. Bridge Vol Pull for Single Coil, Bridge Tone Pull for Reverse Phase.

With that configuration the pots might have been 250's but a good set of 500's will work too. He had nice mids in his sound they very well could have been 250's

  • He did not make those wiring changes on either his #1 or #2 Les Paul until the 80s, long after Led Zeppelin broke up; and his #1 only has 1 push/pull pot but the #2 has 4 push/pull pots and 2 switches under the pick guard.

  • hey great cover man, i was just wondering what amp you were runnin through and if you could give the settings. Thanks and gread job

  • nice

  • Nice work...and a beautiful guitar. Slow your vibrato down a bit bro. You will appreciate the difference it makes. I love this song, and great cover. I wish you'd let me sing it for you thought. :-)

  • If you can sing it, send me a link to your demo!

  • JohnnyAce07....check your comments page, I sent ya a message!

  • where did you get this backing track? i'd like to do a cover of this for youtube too. and nice playing dude.

  • just search the internet for guitar backing tracks

  • You're very fucking goog man .... keep rocking

  • The guitar is stock. As you can see, it is the bridge pup. Gibson calls them Page Burstbuckers.

  • what pickup are you using?

  • they are page burstbuckers is u want the sound try a 500t gibson pup in the bridge and a burstbucker 2 in the neck

  • The 500T is a HORRIBLE pickup for Page sounds, I have no idea what Gibson was thinking when they put that pickup in the first run of the Signature. Try Shed Pickups...they have a model called the Shed Zeppelins AMAZING!!

  • Great playing, and very well done..

    2 things.

    1. The D-chord before the solo (The D to E bit) is actually supposed to be a weird one where you play the D bar chord, but hold down the C# note on the high E-string too. It is basically a weird ass D-Major 7th chord. Try it and listen,,you'll hear it.

    2. The power chord bit is supposed to be played like Tony Iommi would play it with a smooth transition between the chords so they slide into each other with no breaks between the chords.
