The summer prior to her passing, Sandy & Steve came back to Jacobs Camp. They did a little clowning, and shared their story with some of our staff members. All who got to visit with them were so moved by the opportunity. And, given Sandy's strong historic tie to the place, it was an honor for me to get to share the camp with them.

What a great tribute!! But as beautiful as it is, those who were privileged to know Sandy know that she was greater than could be conveyed here. Her smile told so much about her, as did her uncompromising passion for truth, her kindness and care, her selflessness, and so much more. She is greatly missed, and it's wonderful that this tribute is online to serve those who loved her as a small visual reminder.
