True. What most average people don't realize or appreciate is the 65 AMG engine! Ever since Mercedes introduced the M275 AMG engine in 2005, the competitive playing field has shrunk. Even Bentley had to step up their performance by adding the Continental GT Supersports to even compete, but if you've seen the Top Gear video between the Aston, Bent, and CL Benz, it's not even close. Next to the Bugatti's W16 and a few ultra-exotic engines, the M275 AMG engine is ungodly.

Both of them S600 & S65 are V12 but S600 is less powerful generates 510 hp while S65 has 621 hp and

may be few mechanical upgrade for S65 such as brake discs etc.

Is the new 2011 S65 AMG currently the world's most powerfull 4 door vehicle (stock) ? It has 630 PS, which is about 621 bhp.

Flying Spur Speed, M5, Alpina B7, Audi S/RS, Quattroporte, Cadillac-V, 300 SRT-8, RR Ghost, AM Rapide, etc. are all nice cars and very powerful, but I could not find a single 4 door vehicle with more PS/HP or torque than S65 AMG. Please share if you know one.

If S65 is the one right now, I'll sign up for a 24 month lease. Thanks a lot in advance.

The S63 engine is being replaced this summer 2010, it will hail a NEW 5.5L V8 biturbo with 571bhp and a 25% increase in fuel economy. So ANYONE think of purchasing the current model should haggle for a good price if possible. I'm not sure in the NEW S63 would be considered an 6.3L or the 5.5L. Either way say bye-bye to this vantastic engine.

This is because it has gotton "too big", according to Toyota's CEO. I've never owned a Range Rover, but my uncle has had a few. Very good cars. (Though, probably not as good offroad as a Toyota LandCruiser)

I'm not very informed on the Hummer issue (They've never appealed to me). I'm not sure if people want Hummers any more. Who do they appeal to? They aren't as luxurious as the RR, nor do they have the pedigree. So luxury car buyers most likely aren't interested. And you can find something much more practical for cheaper from a Japanese manufacturer.

PART2: Regarding the Nano, its target demographic is obviously not people living in developed countries. A Tata Nano is an improvement in safety, comfort, and speed over a rickshaw being towed by a scooter. I don't know if you have ever been to India, but getting anywhere near "highway speeds" is pretty much impossible with all the traffic.
