alright people, look, its samui (寒い)NOT samiu for those of u who r BLIND and didn't notice WHEN SHE HELD UP THE BOARD SHE CORRECTED IT !!!!!!!!! by the way, not all adjectives end inい (i) there are also な (na) adjectives as well like
簡単なkantan na (easy)
詞的なshitekina(poetic) etc.
and there are adjectives that r neither na or i like
wow i feel dumb since i just now looked at the comments.....*ashamed*...least i got my answer though. I thought there was something wrong with that and i dont even know japanese all to well...yet =D
wha what???? apparently she spelled something wrong. Is it samiu? its supposed to be samui isn't it?! OMG I FIGURED IT OUT AND IT WASN'T EVEN MY MISTAKE!!! at least i think i did. Is that the word she spelled wrong???
I got a question: in her other video she does say that all adjectives end with い or (i) at the end. If that's so then i guess that makes samiu not an adjective? i know you use it for the weather but aren't you still describing the weather? im thinking maybe not EVERY single adjective end with い....its messing with me. Please reply to tell me im not crazy. it'd be very appreciate. Or even if i am please tell me so since i must know. ^_^
That is interesting because in the full shot, we see that it is spelled incorrectly. In the close up it is spelled correctly. This shows you that they noticed the mistake when they got ready to shoot the close up. Nice catch.
@boligrafoaraujo Because they corrected it in editing. It wasn't really that crucial anyway, considering she did pronounce it for us, and one could just double check their Japanese dictionary they should already have if they want to actually learn the language. Here, I'll help anyone who might be confused:
寒い / さむい / "samui" = cold, usually referring to weather.
Ooh thank you for this I was having a little trouble pronouncing omoshiroi! It helped!
