love the journey i just started mines 2 days ago very first time twisting my hair.. i grew my hair out for 6 months then twisted it but my hair is straight and soft but thick as hell i have bout 5-6 inch twist right now but love your dreads
Your locks look amazing! I cut my hair o start growing it out natural for locks, but i didn't know how i wanted to go about it. But now i do. I like how they're the perfect size and shape. And they look really healthy.
all of this from two strand twists?!? Amazing, you look fantastic! I want to start locking my hair but I'm nervous that i wouldn't like it but you have given me inspiration
BIG Question, what about fuzz, how did you handle that? Do you palm twist the new growth? sorry 4 all the quesions, I just like your locs and ready to start mine
@cqgmickey I'll all about preference and maybe hair texture. For ME two strands were better b/c I'd been doing them for a long time and I liked the look of them on me.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this has really encouraged me! I am only one month in (newly loced) and I am just bugg'n right now! After seeing your progress I am excited and focused again!
@mayatheyoungqueen I loved starting w/ two strands. Some of my ends are still not fully loc'd but, that just leaves lil curly q's on the ends..no biggie. I kinda like it actually.
@mayatheyoungqueen Thank you! You've definitely got to have patience. I remember in the beginning, I felt like they'd NEVER loc.lol Good luck on your journey!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this has really encouraged me! I am only one month in (newly loced) and I am just bugg'n right now! After seeing your progress I am excited and focused again!
I need some tips i want to learn how to do my own hair i started out with comb coil so my hairs not loc'd yet I havent retwisted yet I will next week any advice on retwistin?
I don't get it...how can someone NOT like this video??? Yep, definitely a hater that's for sure. Girl you got a good head of healthy hair. Your texture is very close to mine, so at least I have some idea on how mine will eventually turn out. I am just over the one year mark of my loc journey, but not all of my hair is locked up as yet. I am enjoying this walk, even with the frustrations. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER!!! BUT I LOVE MY MOM AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES! If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours
my mother is putting locs in my hair, and I'm not sure which method I should use. I have natural hair, and it is past my shoulders..very long..should I start my locs doing two strand, etc what should I do? HELP!
You have so much hair, in terms of density and I'm just wondering how long it must take to re-twist and if you do it yourself. But aside from that it is absolutely gorgeous and so are you, they look great on you.
@ShanteRoxxane Thanks so much! Yeah, my hair IS thick but, it doesnt take me TOO long to retwist on my own. W/o interruptions from the baby, it'll take maybe 1.5 hrs.
Lady! You have the thickest most beautiful lioness mane I have ever seen! Your locs fit you perfectly... Wow... great video, great hair... congratulations and thanks for sharing!! I'm only 7 months in the loc game... I can only dream my hair will be that thick and full...

your journey was beautiful. i'm contemplating locing up, and i was wondering if the stage in the beginning was awkward and/or hard to style because of the length. also i've been hearing that you have to cut your hair before you loc up? true or false?
WOW sis, I'm impressed! I just LOVE the growth you've achieved over the years. I can't wait till mine are as long as yours and I've been loced 2.5 yrs. Keep doing your thing!
