    Cheers

  • LOOOOOL YOUR SICK I LIKE THE LITTLE MUCK AROUND AT THE END LOL

    AND THANKS 4 THE TUT

  • Kool tutorial, I always wondered how that cue bollox works haha

  • hi j* question ! ! when i put a cd on a cdjs 400 they start to play by themself ...how do i change that?

  • @MegaELECTRONICmUSIC Alright mate, I dont have cdj's myself but apparently there's an "auto cue" button on them, just switch that on or off as you need. Saw this in a video about the 800's. Peace & keep spinnin!

  • hey, am kinda curious about something!

I've watched a video couple of days ago about a DJ, who mention that he always programme the cue points for his tracks before he plays his night.

my question: it is a software which can set a cue points for his tracks?

and, if he does so. Will all the CDJ players recognize the cue points for each one of his tracks?

I should have asked him personally :P. but, it's kinda impossible to meet him up.

    Cheers,

  • @cr3zymo0n is possible with the new cdj 2000 and recordbox. recordbox is the programm of pioneer wich contains your music files. in recordbox you can set cuepoints and play them at the cdj 2000. just search for it here on yt

  • Dead Mr. Ellaskins,

Say i were to Set a cue point (A) for a song on DISC A and i wanted to set a cue point on (B) for a song on DISC B, would i be able to do so, as in take DISC A out of the cd player and pop in DISC B to set the cue point (B) with the cd player memorizing the cue point i set for DISC A ..or is that impossible ?

    (i hope that made sense)

  • @nandobell That is impossible, seeming the cd player loads the information of cue points etc. out of the disc, so you can have up to 3 cue points on each disc, but you would need 2 cd players to do what you are asking for. Hope that made sense to you.

  • lol dat was good

  • i saw the scratch perverts doing that, nicking the bass drum off one track, snare off another, whilst the other two were on the decks scratching it up. looks like a fun way of 'jamming' two songs together!

  • I'm sure a crowd would love to hear that while dancing.

  • I dont know if you are getting what i am saying. In plain words, if you want to use those cue points in your mix you must recall them at least once when you initially insert your cd, otherwise it will take some time for the cdj to read through and this could ruin your mix.

  • Jon, next time you do a video on the cue points of the CDJ 1000, you should mention that, because of the fact that the cdj will keep those cue points, the next time you insert that specific cd, it doesnt mean that they are immediately available.

  • @ pinkdjstella

On technics SL-DZ1200 you have to RECORD your hotcues, i takes time, and are cumbersome.

It's the most beautiful bookstand known to man, but as a dj player it's not worth much.

    /S

  • lol at cumbersome.

  • lol.. at cumbersome too

  • "Why aren't you using digital connection(-s) between CDJs (CD players) and mixer DJM-800?"

    Cause

    A. The signal i way lower than Analog -20db and that doesn't work for mixtapes, without have to master, period

    B. The digital sound SUX, i've donne tests on both my mixers and the analog XLR win all the time, it's fat, deep and have a great sound and feel to it, and that isn't happening with DJM 800 SPDIF!

    /S

  • LIVE ACT BY ELLASKINS :)

  • many tnx mate!!

  • Hi Jonathan, thanks for vid but can you answer me: Why aren't you using digital connection(-s) between CDJs (CD players) and mixer DJM-800?

  • i think because it doesn't matter when using small speakers, and/or he doesn't have the right cable.

  • hey j..gr8 vid..i wonder if its the same with my cd player..its the technics cd version of the sl1200 vinil one..there are cue pads but ive never worked how to use it..maybe ai need an sd card??

  • cdj 1000s kick ass,i love mine to

  • I love the cdj1000, cool video man!!!

  • J I hate you man..yu know why..cuz you get all that expensive equipment for free ...

  • And you get all that knowledge and precious teacher for free!! XD Don't be jealous you naughty! XD Jealousy is bad.

Learn, work and try to get to the top if you want to! :)

Jonathan got this gear not for free... He had to work on it, but he chose to work his own way, not by doing what "they" told him and also not by "counting pixels on someone's website", but he decided to work by helping people and to be free, truth, honest :) .

That's why he is my idol :) ...

    Thanks Jonathan!
